How many of you have ever thought about where you wanted to work once you left college? If you haven't, give it some thought and choose a place where you'd like to work at. Why do you want to work there?
Do a search on that company and find out the qualities required by that company. What kind of people is the company looking for? Do you have those qualities? What do you think your responsibilities would be working there?

Is 2 years of Pre-U academic studies and the following 4 years of a degree programme able to prepare the fresh graduates to enter the working field?
Ah,not to mention a background of primary & secondary education for more than a decade!!!!
For me,of course I would want to make my own living as soon as I graduate from my bachelor's degree.
I am oblivious to what lies ahead of me,and what my future may seem,if possible,I would love to land a job the engineering field,or more specifically, the chemical eng. section.
This is because if I do not practise what I learn,I might as well don't sign up for a course this challenging!
We were required to do some job seaching activity during the lesson.Much to my amazement, there were a lot of job opportunities out there!Waiting to be filled!!!
I did a search on the Shell Gas & Oil Company Malaysia. The job requirement is almost basic, which is a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
However,in my opinion, engineers should be creative, inquisitive, analytical, and detail oriented. They should be able to work as part of a team and to communicate well, both orally and in writing. Communication abilities are becoming increasingly important as engineers frequently interact with specialists in a wide range of fields outside engineering.
In all, engineers apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between scientific discoveries and the commercial applications that meet society and consumers’ needs.

wai mun,
What would u want to be when u grown up?i thihk most ppl were asked since they were young...
Well,frankly!
ithought of this question just 3 months ago...
Chemical engineering
is my 2nd choice...
But what i knew about it is really limited...
i think this lesson is really useful cause it threw us a question tat seem simple but it's really important, that is....
"R u ready for your future job?"
i think the reason 4 unemployement of university student tat hip and happening nowaday is closely related to this.
I would say tat i was so lucky to have awareness about this before i step into society...This must thanks 4 our lecturer who conduct this lesson...
I noticed that beside of posess a degree on tat related field, employee are also concern on our soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, leadership and etc...
All this are the crucial factor 4 us to be an innovative and productive worker...
I belive that chances only left 4 those people who r well prepare!
I will start moulding my character by today...
Here we go PETRONAS!!!!

i just read a comment from one of madam jumani's student named mashida if i'm not mistaken.she said that she want to work at SHLUMBERGER...1st time i heard a student mention bout this company.that actually a well known oil and gas company...i actually meet the board of directors of SCHLUMBERGER..they are the most important guest at IMPIANA HOTEL KLCC(where i worked there after my SPM)..this hotel belong to TAN SRI HASSAN MARICAN(chairman of PETRONAS)and TAN SRI HALIM MARICAN(his brother),,..
what i have learn from them is the PUNCTUALITY...they are very concern about the time management
the staff of this company(SCHLUMBERGER)come from different country that can speak in many different languages..so b well prepare to work with this company..all the best mashidah
thanx 4 the vote of confidents. The diversity of the workers there is what intrigue me most..i definately can learn a lot there n if i'm lucky i might catch a foreigner 4 a husband(which definately going 2 put my mom in her raging mode-haha)..
4 me if i really try 2 b a good muslim,working there won't b a lil bit of problem..
islam already tought us everything that we need 2 know in how 2 socialize, work with integrity n of course the importance of being punctual(treasuring times)..
believe me being a good muslim not only will make us loved by Allah but also by people in this case my employer..
insya allah i'll do well there..

Actually to get this level it not easy to me because i must study hard at secondary school and matriculation college..
My dream come true when i got the offer to further my study at UMP..
Chemical engineering (TECH GAS),, my second choice but i really glad of it...
After i graduate, my first choice to apply a job of course at PETRONAS..
PETRONAS is a famous company in Malaysia..
"PETRONAS Education and Training Master plan will see the evolvement of a strategic transformation within the whole education framework".. This statement interesting me about Petronas ..
the good salary and a lot of benefit from this company..
But to get a good job i must study

Hello to everyone,
When i leave ,I want to be a successful person in my future field.
Once i finished my college i wan to be successful chemical engineer.
And i would like to work in Petronas company. Its my Dream...
The place that most probably i choose is Sabah.I want to work there because before this i never went to Sabah but i really love greenish environment thatwise i choose Sabah.
When im search on petronas company they looking for high qualification .Thats include the CGPA should greater than 3.5 and good appearance in soft skills...
In soft skills they look at team work, group disscusion, and the most important things is can communicate well in public.
I thought that i have that quality but not in high range .For my future successful life i will be try my best to communicate with public ...
Ok thats all about my future program...

after finish my stud i would like to work at petronas....but it is not easy as i think...
to be a world class engineer need full of comitment...i have to sucess not only in academic but also in cocuriculum...and also i have to get ready for those criterias that petronas want...

When i leave, i would like to work in big company such as Petronas ,Mobil or other oil company in our country. Well,it depends on my achievement during my studies at this university......the most important they offer me a good payment, variety of benefits such as high bonus, insurance,EPF,company car, vacation and etc.Besides,i prefer a comfortable area to work and flexible working time which mean i can go work and go back home as i like after i finish my work already...Hope I will achieve what I want.(insyaallah)
