Hello everybody! Winnie here~ ^_^
Actually, first i came to this university, i thought that this uni's hostel is very beautiful. However, after i got inside, i almost fainted because of the dirty stairs and smelly toilet. But, very soon i accepted the fact already! Although the toilet is blocked, i have to use it also. Although the stairs is dirty, i have to pass through it everyday. So, i am forced to become used to it.
But, the most horrible thing is that there are so many cats in UMP! Even i live at first floor, there are always cats in front of my door!
A very warm welcome to myself and fellow freshies to UMP!!!!! *cheers* my dear new friends!!!!!
Finally bidding a farewell to our well-protected 'caccoon' life during matriculation & form 6,and being transported into a whole new world of campus life,must be an eye-opener for most,if not,for me especially. New bonds of friendships are gradually being formed,and an exposure to different races,culture & food has been a wonderful experience for me.
I would definitely like to see more of everything in days (or years) to come!!!!!
hello there everybody !!! mr.putrace is here.Firstly i want to welcome all my friends to ump.These is my second week i stayed in ump and i think ump is a great university because the teacher here is well experiencedand the food here is quite good.But the best part about ump is the people here especially all my new friends becauce all of them arevery friendly.last but not least i want urges all my friend tostrive for excellent and never give up hopes that one day we will meet success.Ok!!! bye!!
These are the days i has been awaiting for a long time, cause everyone around me keep telling me their university life that full of joy. Hence,I hope myself will have my own colourful and fruitful life here as well.
Although,it sounds so nice but the life of he first week here is the hardest life that i never gone through before.It's due to i has faced a little bit 'culture shock' here.Everything is new for me,luckily there were help from seniors,lectures and friends!:)
I am really appreciate this chance to be UMP here.I believe that this coming 4 years will transform us to be a well rounded person!
Salam n hello you'll..Mashi's in the blog.. Glad to post my first blog entry 4 K28.. Life's here is fun..I've expected it 2 b actually since this is my first choice..Still waiting 4 my bike 2 arive actually so it will b much more fun here.. I think we're very fortunate 2 have technical english s our first class here bcoz if not we'll maybe still be a stranger to others..The game we played,remember the snowball fight? forced us 2 interact with each others..If not we definately not going 2 know even half of the classmates we know 2day.. I just love this class..It's one class i know we can play in n still gaining so much from it..It's weird that a stupid n simple act we did in this class from singing 'i hate public speaking'(i still can't get that freaky video out of my mind help!) 2 throwing people with paper n showing headlines thought us important things that are essential in our future life such s confidence,way 2 communicate etc.. n i just love u guyz..it's fun 2 b in this class..u guyz are funny(every each have unique character of ur own) n very sporting..For the gils i felt like i've known u guyz 4 a long time already.. so long 4 2day..sorry 4 conquering so much space here..can't seem 2 b stop writing.. one post down nine 2 go..
Hi guys, Glad to know that you are enjoying yourselves here despite the horrendous conditions of stairs and loos. If you need to point fingers, blame your seniors! Hahahahaha Somebody must have made it that way! As for the cats, I guess you need to be your own cat catcher, catch them all and put them elsewhere, a safe haven for cats, if you know any. Sorry if the advice is unsound. :) Anyway, a little advice for those who have posted their comments and the comments had nothing to do with the topic on the main UHL2312: Post again! When I 1st saw Technical English as a compulsory subjct,I thought~here we go again~ with all d grammar exercise hand-outs,hours of glueing to the chair listenin to the teacher~OMG.......
Ah,not anymore guyz....this time it's TOTALLY different.Two-way learning makes English so ABSOLUELY fun!!!!!!Wheeeeee!!!!!
We had a snowball-picking session instead of a fight,but still,was a nice ice-breaker for me!!! =D
& also,speed talk reali forces us 2 talk,& get to know more of our classmates. 1 question I brought out was,
"wat would u do wif a million ringgit?"
& the most common answer I got from our Muslim classmates were---
to menunaikan umrah.
Ah......finally I did learn something too,which is,a trip to umrah wasn't that cheap afterall.Some didn't have a chance to do it at all 4 their life-time here. ^.^
As 4 d 30-sec talk,it was nerve-wrecking when it;s my turn to talk,as u were constantly squeezing d juices out of ur brain,thinking of what else to say to everyone. And at times,u could feel that 30 sec isn't enuf 4 me 2 finish talking.....hehe....
In all,I learned that self-motivation is important to get urself 2 talk.
n oh yea,is starting to love this subject & classmates more n more........
I can still remember,technical english was the 1st class we attended in UMP.When i stepped into class everyone included lecturer was already there with serious face expression.I was so anxious wondering what we goin to do in this class!cause most ppl in class still be a stranger 4 me...
I expected our ice breaking will be stereotype which we stand up one by one and introduce ourself.But i have to ate my word cause our ice breaking was done in a interesting way n every one enjoy ourself in it. After the activity the atmosphere is much more better cause we know each other better and i found that our lecturer is not as strict as i imagine.she is so friendly!I really like her teaching method which make our lesson to be lively...
While 4 the 30 second talk, it make me realise a lot of weaknesses of my english... i have a lot of idea tat would like to tell my freinds but i cant make it in a perfect sentence n sometimes may stucked there cause unable to think of a suitable word to use...i guess i know what should be improved...xD But i feel very comfortable being taught in this way compare to english classes tat i have atendeded before...Although they are also made an effort to make us speak but their ways would only frighten us up and we will keeping mum as a result of that...i will appreciate all trainings that are given by lecturer..

it was such a fantastic time to be in technical english class. i've learn to be more confident. i luv the activity where we have to find the word to represent the word PRESENT.. hurm, it was exciting to know that to be creative is to feel good in myself...i struggle very hard just to find suitable word... thanks for the session where we have to talk to everyone... u know what, i just can't believe that i can do that before.but after that, it prove me that i can do everything just need to TRY and BELIEVE.. put some effort, then i will be whatever i want to be...insyaALLAH... to be continue....hehehehe

when first time i reach in ump,i'm such have culture shock...here we hve to be more independent..but alhamdulillah i have all the experience since i'm ex-matrix n ex-boarding school student so i can use all my experience before to solve my problem.
my first lesson here is with mdm. jumani..she really good in attract me and my friends to be happy in our english lesson..she have done alot of exiting activities such as snowball fight,30 second talk and etc....
i really enjoy all the activities...i know.she made all this because she want us to know each other...hope me and my friend will success as long as we here

SNOWBALL fight do u remember that?? i was enjoy that game. this is because i can meet my friend and ask about background closely.. but when i must present about my friends in front of class, i am so nervous..
actually i really interesting about 3o second talk and speed talk. even my vocabulary not good but i try to speak.. i am jealous when my friends can talk very well..
i hope i have a confident when give any speech and become a good presenter..

i love this university... more freedom and more friend... but the hostel is quite bad... it need more requirement... but this university is the great places for me...hahaha...
30 second talk is the most interesting activity for me...needed more ideas and good prepration to make the best presenter....
not all persons can talk fast and faster to complete it sentences and main point had given to him or her... speed talk must be crazy things.... hahaha....
snowball fight is more like child activity but also good activity too....
to me, all of activity make me to think more creative and intellegent...

For my opinion UHL2312 is a great programme in preparing ump student before going to work after graduate so that they will have a good communication skill.UHL 2312 is also a fun programme,this is clear when the first week that we did snowball fight ,30 second talk and speed talk,i absolutely enjoy these activities.But i enjoy the most is snow ball fight compare to other activities because it is very effective and creative ways for ice breaking session.The benifits that i gain from these 3 activities is , i get to improve my communication skill and my english especially imy pronounsation .
when i go to english class...in my mind only have...urgh...wat a boring class...
come to the class...sit on the chair...then listen wat teacher said...and then zzzzz...that's me...
but this the first time i really enjoy in english class...weplay snow ball to know each other...it's different from other ice breaking..usually we have to stand..then tell a little bit about ourself...so bored..
play snow ball was so interesting...we have to write one trademark...so our frenz have to find us....
about 30 sec talk...it was intereting too...but too tired coz have to talk same topic with all my classmates....sometimes i become blurred...didn't know what suitable words...weak in vocab...need to be improved then....

Technical English? I’m feel so comfortable when attend the class… you know why? Since I attend the class I never fell pressure with the subject. It is because the lecturer is very sporting and very understands her student. In the class, you automatically want to speak in English language. Why? During the activity, it makes me to speak in English although that the word that are used is wrong… when u practice, practice and practice, it will be perfect. And the result, you can improve our English. By commenting on the blog will improve your vocabulary.
firstly i'm sorry because i cant comment very well for this activity because i did not remember what i had done while july month.... by the way,i can still remember few little event..... It's different here..UHL 2312 subject is very fun and enjoyable.Many things i learn here although its just a few week here. I may learn how to talk within 30 seconds.I may know my new friends in few minutes only.. so,Thanks to MAdam Jumani for all that you do........

the technical BI was the first class that i attended...when the class session is over, i was seeing the my daily life with different dimension...but i dun want talk about that...
we are very lucky as we have a funny, cheerful and friendly lecturer..we've just meet for the first time but she already treat us like his friends...so close

when first time i reach in ump,i'm such have culture shock...here we hve to be more independent..but alhamdulillah i have all the experience since i'm ex-matrix n ex-boarding school student so i can use all my experience before to solve my problem.
my first lesson here is with mdm. jumani..she really good in attract me and my friends to be happy in our english lesson..she have done alot of exiting activities such as snowball fight,30 second talk and etc....
i really enjoy all the activities...i know.she made all this because she want us to know each other...hope me and my friend will success as long as we here

i was enjoy that game. this is because
i can meet my friend and ask about background closely..
but when i must present about my friends in front of class,
i am so nervous..
actually i really interesting about 3o second talk and speed talk. even my vocabulary not good but i try to speak..
i am jealous when my friends can talk very well..
i hope i have a confident when give any speech and become a good presenter..

You make me enjoyed in your class because your activities are so creative such as snow ball, 30second talk and speed talk..
That activities gave me more input such as it gave me confident to speak in english althought I so weak in english...
Beside that I can meet a new friends by another way from the snow ball activity..

but the hostel is quite bad...
it need more requirement...
but this university is the great places for me...hahaha...
30 second talk is the most interesting activity for me...needed more ideas and good prepration to make the best presenter....
not all persons can talk fast and faster to complete it sentences and main point had given to him or her...
speed talk must be crazy things....
hahaha....
snowball fight is more like child activity but also good activity too....
to me, all of activity make me to think more creative and intellegent...

For my opinion UHL2312 is a great programme in preparing ump student before going to work after graduate so that they will have a good communication skill.UHL 2312 is also a fun programme,this is clear when the first week that we did snowball fight ,30 second talk and speed talk,i absolutely enjoy these activities.But i enjoy the most is snow ball fight compare to other activities because it is very effective and creative ways for ice breaking session.The benifits that i gain from these 3 activities is , i get to improve my communication skill and my english especially imy pronounsation .

when i go to english class...in my mind only have...urgh...wat a boring class...
come to the class...sit on the chair...then listen wat teacher said...and then zzzzz...that's me...
but this the first time i really enjoy in english class...weplay snow ball to know each other...it's different from other ice breaking..usually we have to stand..then tell a little bit about ourself...so bored..
play snow ball was so interesting...we have to write one trademark...so our frenz have to find us....
about 30 sec talk...it was intereting too...but too tired coz have to talk same topic with all my classmates....sometimes i become blurred...didn't know what suitable words...weak in vocab...need to be improved then....
but overall...ireally enjoy with this class...

Technical English? I’m feel so comfortable when attend the class… you know why?
Since I attend the class I never fell pressure with the subject. It is because the lecturer is very sporting and very understands her student. In the class, you automatically want to speak in English language.
Why?
During the activity, it makes me to speak in English although that the word that are used is wrong… when u practice, practice and practice, it will be perfect. And the result, you can improve our English. By commenting on the blog will improve your vocabulary.

by the way,i can still remember few little event.....
It's different here..UHL 2312 subject is very fun and enjoyable.Many things i learn here although its just a few week here. I may learn how to talk within 30 seconds.I may know my new friends in few minutes only..

well come to the most succesful technical university...
the technical BI was the first class that i attended...when the class session is over, i was seeing the my daily life with different dimension...but i dun want talk about that...
we are very lucky as we have a funny, cheerful and friendly lecturer..we've just meet for the first time but she already treat us like his friends...so close

uhl 2312 is a great, fun and enjoyable session...i meet lots of new friends, and for two hours i have to always speak ENGLISH, it is good for me actually...
