I think the best way to overcome stage fright is, doing practise in front of the mirrow!

This will increase our self-confidence!
So that we dare to talk in front of the public!
And also do not afraid of making mistakes!

For your information, making mistakes is one of the ways to improve our language~
So, dont scared to make mistake!

Thanks~

Phobia of public speaking is human nature,it's just depend on how intense is the feeling among oneself...

i did agree with teacher that either u r liar or you r someone does not know how to hide nervousness.Stage fright is posessed by everyone,in my opinion i think the most effective ways to overcome is...

"BE CONFIDENT!!!BE PREPARED!!!STOP NEGATIVE THINKING!!!"

Talk is cheap!let strive together for lmprovement!:)

oraaaiiiiiiiiiiiittttt!!!!!
1st of ol...in my thinkin..to avoid audiences to noe tat u r nt 100% ready for them, u ned to make them nt to think tat u r!!!!! :P
u hv the stage n it's ol ur's!!!
juz b confident..sumtimes audiences only REALLY focus for 5mins..if u keep on being so confident, they wil nt noe whether u r saying da right thg or nt... :)
nex..be sure of ur points...prepare well..dun be so negative of wat ppl wil say..
be comfortable wit anxiety.. transfer ur skills...
make ur diction clear..maintain ur volume,PAUSE...have an inflection that varies..
have real gud personalities...
avoid be on same spot..
lastly from me....
treat audiences as ur bestmates..families n even large-talking mirrors.... so tat u wud be able talk juz like the way u r... ok??? oraiiitttt???bha.... out n roger!!! :P

Being given a chance to go on stage,be it just to receive an award,or a singing contest,or maybe a debate, this is definitely an honour. The fact is,it all boils down to how well u present urself when on the stage.

During then,all eyes & ears r set upon u.
The audiences won't be that bad as to see how bad u scored, but expecting u to show dem wat u've got dere.

So,the million dollar question is,HOW DO U OVERCOME STAGE FRIGHT?

I remembered someone telling me tat when u're on stage, treat it as if ur audiences r just pumpkins tat r as liveless as ever.In that way,u will b able to calm ur nerves and not b as frightened anymore.

I'm not sure if it works or not, maybe we can try it out someday.
Well, the main problem is,wat if u're going to do a presentation?This needs a 2-way interaction with d speaker n audience.And pumpkins don't speak,or do they???

to overcome stage fright,
we have to watch, learn, from the other who r better than us...
then we hv to practice what we have learn from them...

but the important is our CONFIDENT..
without any confident..there is no more way that other people can help us..
its all based on us....
on us only....

Presentation is the process of showing and explaining the content of a topic to an audience. A presentation program, such as OpenOffice.org Impress, Apple Keynote or Microsoft PowerPoint, is often used to generate the presentation content.

That all about the presentation

overcoming stage fright do need a lot of practice..when talking about presentation or public speaking its brought me back the experience when i had to it during school and in matriculation... preparation is vital in doing presentation..even if you r a an experience presenter, it does not mean that your presentation will be the best compared to others... a good preparation will give us confidence to make our presentation...with some guides from teachers and support from friends we can learn to overcome the stage fright....

Assalamualaikum....

Based on what I have read on the page, ways that I think would help me to overcome my stage fright is to build sense of confidence. In the past, i usually feel nervous and afraid if I was told to give a speech or a talk in front of my friend or teacher. But now, I manage to overcome my stage fright. This is the result from my practice and my determination to overcome this fear.

On top of that, well-prepared also helps me a lot on my presentation.
Usually I will practice by myself in the room before giving a speech. As the result I will clearly know what to talk, what to avoid and how to entertain the audience.

I am very happy because I am able to overcome my stage fright although it is not perfect. But i will perfect it someday, later or sooner.

how to overcome stage fright..??
stop asking others this pointless question...
i mean, ask yourself then you'll have the answer...

for me personally...
i have to master english first,in terms of grammar, vocabulary and so on...
because these are what form an effective public speaker...
besides,i must get my body language working properly...this is because what reflects my confidence, and concentration...
