be my first month in ump,i read a lot of facial expression of different people i met. Although i just met them but i can tell by their expression.Someone seem shock to be here, but some look very excited to be here.Still got someone look boring to be here.Their faces tell me that they feel nothing can be done here as far from city.I also read some irritating expression when talking to something they don't like.Just very apparently.I very grateful that i can read many of different facial expressions which can help me to more understand someone and can easily adapt with different people and diferent situation without offended anyone and face no difficulties.

When i came to UMP in this month, i brought my favourite book. The book is Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.I bought this book before i did not know what university i enter. So, i read this book when i was free in this UMP.This book is the last episode of Harry Potter series.i had collected all books of the series. This book describe the principle of Hogwarts told Harry about his mission to take down the Lord Voldemort before he died. So, Harry left all people except his two friends to complete his mission. His mission is finding and destroying the things that got souls inside.Firstly, he unable to find any of these things in a long period of time. But, with the clues that the principle gave, he find four of five things. Finally, he destroy all the things with his honour friend. He is very brave and fight the the Lord Voldemort alone.the Lord Voldemort is the strongest wizard in that world. Harry finally win him in the war in school. All peoples in that world live peacefully in the future because Harry defeated the hollow. That is the storyline of My favourite book.

I have read a lot of novels.I will not feel boring although i read the same novels. To be honest,i have read a lot of love novels. But i also have read novels that relate with religion in Indonesia. That's novel give me a lot of presure because it's hard to understand their language. Moreover it use the long and difficult name for their character because that story is about long time ago.But i love this novel because the story line always make me feel curious to know what will happen.Compare to the love novels,i know what will happen but this novel i could not think what will happen. But i still like to read love story more than others except i could find the story like this.

As usual, I was reading The Star online when I am free. In month of July, there a some of articles that caught my attention. I want to share few of my reading.

Child sex clip shocker for parents(31.7.2008). This is the title for the article. Wow. How can you imagine that two 8 years old children doing adultery? And most shocking thing is that they record up the scene and spread it all over the world through internet. What is happening to the world now? The moral values seem to be extincted along with time.

Chikungunya virus break out(28.7.2008) . It seem like a new disease is striking to our nation again. Its systoms are fever and joint pain. And the vector are mosquitoes. Please take care of yourself and consult for medication if you fell that you have those symptoms.

Let us together pray that our world to become better and free of suffering.

I had read about something that people always had it in them.
Hatred.
Hatred or hate is a word that describes intense feelings of dislike. It can be used in a wide variety of contexts, from hatred of inanimate objects to hatred of other people.

Philosophers have offered many influential definitions of hatred. Rene Descartes viewed hate as an awareness that something is bad, combined with an urge to withdraw from it. Baruch Spinoza defined hate as a type of pain that is due to an external cause. Aristotle viewed hate as a desire for the annihilation of an object that is incurable by time. Finally, David Hume believed that hate is an irreducible feeling that is not definable at all.

In psychology, Sigmund Freud defined hate as an ego state that wishes to destroy the source of its unhappiness. In a more contemporary definition, the Penguin Dictionary of Psychology defines hate as a "deep, enduring, intense emotion expressing animosity, anger, and hostility towards a person, group, or object." Because hatred is believed to be long-lasting, many psychologists consider it to be more of an attitude or disposition than a (temporary) emotional state

Taiwan student dies during fast food binge

Fri Oct 24, 1:55 am ET
TAIPEI (Reuters Life!) – A man died just as he was about to win a university binge eating contest in Taiwan, scoffing down two buns filled with rice and cheese as well as some of his teammate's food, the college said on Friday.
The 23-year-old, described as tall and strong, vomited relentlessly, passed out and died on Thursday during the "Big Stomach King" contest at Dayeh University in central Taiwan. He had pulled ahead of 30 other teams.
"I can't say why he died," said Huang Te-hsiang, the university's dean of student affairs. "He had been in the contest before. He was a strong guy."
The graduate student, surnamed Chen, may have eaten too fast rather than too much, a campus publicist said. Chen was on course to win the five-year-old annual competition, she said. He would have won T$2,000 ($60).
Taiwan's education ministry has halted campus-based eating contests while an investigation is launched.
