Today at first when teacher said that we are going to the theatre room i was really excited..I thought we were going 2 watch movie..
Then the light in the theatre turned off n TJ Walker popped into the scrin..
yes i was a bit disappointed but tj walker manage to stunt me..
i really wish i juz can speak like him..
The dying guy was definately great..In the end of his speech i can feel my eyes watery..his speech was definately effective..
i really like the lady in the end..she was hilarious..i was laughing off my seat..her confident is really something 2 admire 4..
so who do i think is the best presenter?
i would say it is soon to be me :p..u know y?it is because i have all this people n a very good teacher 2 learn from..
yeay i know it's a wishful thinking but impossible is really nothing cause whether i think i can or i can't i'm right..
Today,we were ushered into a mini theatre which has seatings similar to that in an air-plane cabin.
Feasting our eyes on numerous hillarious movie clips for more than an hour wre more than enough to last a day's laugh.
With sound advice from TJ Walker & Doug Jeffrys on the Do's & Don'ts During Presentations,I definitely picked up few tricks up my sleeves.
To be an effective presenter,we definitely need some skills.
As for the special guest invited to the famous Oprah Winfrey Show,Randy Paunsch,I dare say that he has created such an impact on all his audience,especially me,in delivering his presentation.He showed such positive attitude towards handling sickness & death.The slideshows were touching.So as the saying goes,a picture paints a thousand words.To Randy Paunsch,I salute you.
However,there were some B-O-R-I-N-G clips shown to us on purposely.Sometimes we tend to present in a way like Dick Hardt & the Microsoft dude does.Just like Pn Jumani said on our 2nd lesson------------->good slides may not neccessarily make a good presenter,& vice-versa.This is what happened to Dick Hardt today.Not to mention that presenting in monotone barely switches your audience to sleeping mode.
Everything we watched & learned today shall be put to test on OUR OWN presentation in due time.
we've been asked to go to a theatre room..thot we might wana watch muvie.. but then again... presentation slides... I HATE PUBLIC SPEAKIN song... bla..blaa..kind a borin to watch those clips again n again...yeah..but we stil need 2 improve our ways of speakin..
sum of us took a nap...sum laughin..talkin....but..ol of us focused on this unique guy...RANDY PAUNSCH..he is full of ethusiasm..strong will to live tho he stil got few months to live (not sure if he's stil alive)..
he stil giv talks to ppl...encourage ppl to live a hapy life..his slides were the most touchin n lovely...pack wit pics n moments..his audiences are his children...
i cud see his eyes..telling us he really love n care for his children..
his talks, confidence, gestures n a lovely heart makes me realised...
IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO BE A PERFECT PERSON AS LONG AS U HV POSITIVE THINKIN IN EVERYTHG..
gud slides doesn't mean a person can be a perfect presenter..
but he showed us sumtin tat is beyond our imaginary...

Today we all learnt about the best presenter.
firtsly, i think if we to do the presentation, the important we must to do is preparation. the subject must clearly.second, physical skill.the body language, eye contact, facial expressions and most important in every presenter is don't nervous.
the best presenter is TJ Walker.

because of his spirit of leaving eventhough he is gonna die soon..
i first know him because of his book title THE LAST LECTURE. for the first time i saw that book at popular, i promise to myself that 1 day i will gonna have that book.
then, last 2 weeks, i bought it at POPULAR MEGAMALL, KUANTAN..
i like him for his spirit and positiveness in his.. that really inspired me that he is someone that really tough in facing the reality of life...
he has show me that there is no matter when we gonna die..just realize that sooner or later, we will experienced the same as him..
i was really sad when im thinking about his three children,logan, chloe and dylan. and also his wife, jai..ive been thinking about their life after randy passed away..
hurm, his steady and how he manage to be comfortable in stage tell me that its how we think about something that matter..
one day, sooner or later i wanna be one of the presenter that comfortable in stage instead of being a presenter which can attract audience. i need practices, so here we go...the way is just in front of me, it just i wanna take the chances or not..

Ok...this is based from what i've been watching for some of the best presenter...n i think TJ Walker is the person...
The best presenter should have something nice and brilliant such as good to attract audience,good voice tone and the important thing is confidence....
Yeah....I agree if were not really good in language,we still have the opportunity to present well..People judge someone by their speech...how they delivered their speech...
So don't ever care about the surrounding..just take care about the audience....n just be ourselves....

i like he way he teach to be the best presenter..
we must have self confidence,eye contact with the audience and dont speak monotones because the audience will bored with the presentation..
P.R.E.S.E.N.T is not the same as our first draft..but we not change them at all..only certain word we change..it is because,after we watch the video,we know what we should do to be the best presenter..

I remember before i get into this class, i went to toilet first..
but after that, i found out that they were all disappeared!!
I start getting nervous but fortunately, my friend told me they had gone to theatre room..
But i felt quite weird~
I wonder we are going to watch movie..
Then, i get in and noticed that TJ Walker talked on the skrin..
I found out, he is a funny guy..
He talked in such a way that can grab my attention!
However, i prefer Randy Paunsch!
He showed me his positive attitude of facing his sickness..
He is such a brave and tough people!
I think i should make him as my role model! Because his speech really touch my heart!!

He talked in such a dull way and i nearly cannot understand what is he talking about!

It's a really an impressive lesson...No matter judge from the teaching materials or the environment of mini theatre is excellent!
Although it's about an hours class but time seem passed very fast,cause i am enjoy myself in every single clips that were shown.
There are good model presenters and vice versa.Among all of those presenter i think Randy pausch impressed me the most.I was really touch and close to tear after watching his talk.
I am really amazed by his influential talk.We can felt his sincerity and enthusiasm during his talk.His broke the perception of speech or talk will bored a person to tears.I think there is no one wont be inspired after his presentation.
Beside of Randy,TJ walker also the other speaker that i like.He has pointed out some "big no no" mistake during presentation and also the correct ways suppose to be.I think it will make a big difference on our presentation if we follow all the tips that given.
If possible i wish to have all the clips to watch over and over again...:)

his presentation comes from his heart...i admired with his spirit...even though he know that he will die but he seems look like nothing will happen...his presentation was intersting..his eye contact,his voice was not monotone..he looks comfortable on the stage...tj walker also one of my favourite presenter...from his slide i learn many tips to be a good presenter...urmm..about the microsoft dude..it was so bored...just stand in front..no eye contact...no movement...the way he speak was monotone...-kc08024-

yesterday, i'm very lucky get enter to the theater room to watch who is the best presenter...
i think, the best presenter is tj walker......
he get comunicate with audience very well...
he also clever get the audience pay attention to his speach...
he can manage his time to give his speach, and the audience not feel bored with his speach...
base on our ggrou discussion, we choose P for prepare, R for reference, E for eye contact, S for speak clearly, E for elebtation, N for nonbubble and T for tone.....

Salam.For my opinion the best presenter should be Randy paunsch .The reasons i chose randy is because how he deliver the presentation with all his heart and passion.he has use an effective approch by given more picture and less word and he looks very comfortable in stages compare to other presenter ,this is clear when he can do sit-up altough he is dying.Not just that ,he also sucessfully given an impact to the audience by telling positive points on how to keep going alive altough you are not sick.We as an healthy person should be thank full to god .

Actually, I'm very amze with him..
Although he know he is gonna die,,
but he always cheerful and look like nothing will be happen..
In the last speech,, I saw he give that all ot from his heart..He look very comfortable the stage and his voice so clear and loud...He is the best presenter that i ever seen..One day, I want to presenter like him...
i think the best presenter is microsoft dude....
he just do the simplest about him but i like it....
make me mesmerize with his creative video clip and just say....don't be shy....

For me the best presenter is ‘last lecturer’ .For me he has eye contact and can take attention form audience. He also not present base on his slide hundred percent.
He also did not feel nervous to present to audience. Base on his present I can said that he sincere to share his story to audience. He also not became stiff but he make a movement but not obvious. And he also did not fear to present his slide even her slide just about his family.He also get a good point or content and exactly his present can his audience touching and happy with it. He also good in control eye contact with audience and to see his slide. He has good explanation about opening.
In my opinion the worst presenter is ‘Microsoft’ this is because he lost his eye contact with audience and also his presentation quite boring. His voice also not clear and became mumble itself.
For me, as audience did not understand what that he was talking about. I can see this presenter quite nervous. His presentation also get worse because of he just click on his slide with any explanation and just reading from the slide only. He also stiff and did not do any movement and I think his finger just the only do a little movement. He also lost on body language.

for me the best presenter goes to TJ WALKER,guess so..hehe..one more thing,of coz the microsoft dude should not in the list..hehe. actually what i've learnt is as presenter we must deliver our presentation as well as the good microsoft power point we 've prepared..goood eye contact with the audience,strong point,great body languanges also gestures is important thing that we should considered too..please don't be so panic because it will mess everything and cover your mistakes spontaneously..my steps to be the effective presenter through the word P.R.E.S.E.N.T is still same means no change..anyway all these video teach me a lot lesson and useful tips in the future to make me becoming good and better speaker.

i'm not sure what kind of presenter i am...but for sure i have a lot of things to learn and there a lot of site for improvements based on few of my friends comments... in the class i got many new things about doing good presentation and its help me a lot....

i am very interesting with his presentation.
from the video I've watch, he is a skillful presenter. from his presentation he teach us a skills, tips, and a trick to be an effective and confident presenter.
sometimes he makes a joke to make the audience attraction and the same time he keep the audience attention.
i can say that TJ WALKER is my idols among a presenter.
