It's been six weeks in UMP but 4 weeks of lessons/ learning 'coz we have to minus the first week and last week, our quarantine week. That's a setback but we'll make up for it. So here's a quick review of what we've done so far and what I'd like for you to tell me is what you've gotten from all the activities. If you got nothing, by all means, tell me also why the activity had no impact on you. After all, hehe, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, just kidding; I was going to say, it's not learning if people already know.
Okay, we did (1) SNOWBALL FIGHT, (2) RESEARCH on job requirement and opportunities, (3) Speed Talk and Board games, (4) TEAMBUILDING and MoU, (5) PRESENT - Steps to be an effective presenter (including the video clips you viewed), and (6) Train the Speaker.

Assalammualaikum Mdm Jumani.Firstly, I love this book damn much. After reading the summary/synopsis of this book, I feel like I want to have it as soon as possible. This book will motivate my life. I also believe that this book will change the way I've been thinking. Besides, I may appreciate my parents more since i read that Chick Benitto's mother sacrifice and willing to do anything for her son. Thank you for recommending this book.

A lot of thing I've been learn through all the activities being done in our previous classes. Snowball Fight activity make me know all the members of my class. This activity also help me get to know about my classmate better. Research on job requirement and opportunities activity guide me about what kind of career i will get involve to after graduating from UMP. Besides that, 3 other activities that being held in previous classes that is Speed Talk and Board Games, Present-steps to be an effective presenter and also Train the speaker help me a lot in becoming a good presenter in future. Moreover, these activities also increase the level of confidence in myself. Lastly, i want to thank Mdm Jumani for teaching me.

Good Day, mdm ju.What I've learn in UHL class till now?Honestly,the answer was "none" in the first few classes I was in. I even question myself why was i doing all those seemingly childish activities that you've introduced to us. However, as time flows, it seems that you can never judge the book by its cover. I began to realise there was a logic applied to every activities that we've been through and I must say, as childish and lame as its seems sometimes, somehow it benefited me in a way. For example, from the child-play snowball fight we had and the speed talk, i've actually took the effort to know some of my course mates and tried to remember their names(although i have to honestly admit that till now i still can't remember all of their names,but it was so much better compared to the previous time).Then, the video clips on the dos' and don'ts' of the public speaking realli did help me to realise my flaws and of course showed me ways on how to improve my public speaking skill. For the record, a few of the videos were really inspiring espcially the one featuring Randy Pausch in the O.W show.
I must say, eventhough i branded some of the activities we had lame and childish, i must say that i've actually enjoy most of it, apart from gaining skills and knowledge from it. However, i still don't really enjoy shouting that "ready" thing,and again, it's lame. Anyway, just being honest and expressing my thoughts. No offence. Thank You for your time.

enjoy and happy to enter this class.. for UHL class we don't have a heavy work and assignment to do...
it is the 1 that we can enjoy our self and don't think to much about the work...for me actually i'm not very fluent in ENGLISH i just say what i want i don't care and i don't scared or ashamed to myself for me it is the time for me to learn it's ok to done something wrong so we can learn from that...
to all my course mate that scare or ashamed to talk in ENGLISH juz put it aside...try to speak in ENGLISH and confident with urself and before that you have to say READY!!!!!!!!!!!! hihihihih love you all~

assalamualaikum madam jumani.... firstly, when i was here, especially in english class, i was expected a very high level because i'm at university now....but when i entered the class, i was very shocked that i must follow the activities....hehehehe....like a kindergarten's activities but i was enjoyed all the activities with all my classmate and you, madam...
the first activities is the Snowball Fight. this activities are very interesting which make me to know each other with my classmates better than before.
then, the second activities is Research on job requirement and opportunities. at this class, i was very excited because although i was tired at that time. hehehe...this activity make me to be a very open minded with my course. If before this i don’t care about my career but now i’m know the job that that i’ll work after my graduation.
Next class is the speed talk and board games. In this class, i was very excited to ask question to all my classmates about their dream. My question is ‘if you have 1 million, what will you do first?’ so i got many answer from my friends. Then is my turn to answer their question. I was enjoyed this activity. The games also about the question that must be answer from the game, like a snake game.
The teambuilding and mou is also the interesting part of the lesson. In this class, we’re make 1 group which have 5 members. We’re completed the task to do all the activity with all the group’s members. My leader is Ami. Hehehehe....
Next, the activity is hoe to be a good presenter. In this class, madam jue train us to be a good presenter. Madam teaches the steps to be an effective presenter. Madam also have their own style to teach because madam want us to be a good presenter and to avoid us to be bord in her class. I was like this activity because madam teaches me how to be confidents in front of many people.
The last but not least, is train the speaker. This activity is held in the grouping work. We must choose one of us to be the speaker and train he to be the good speaker. He must talk to the class about the topic that we got from madam.
That’s all madam. I think all the activities are very interesting and the most important is the all activities are give me an affect to myself. Thanks a lot madam. I hope you can create a lot of activities to be done in our class. Thank you.

I would like to say that English classes is always my favourite class. Whether it is in secondary school or matriculation, i always like English classes. But not in primary school. At that time, i really hate English because i was so weak at it. I even Got B for my UPSR result. one day, my auntie told me, if i wish to go to united states, then i have to master the language. from that, i switched from malay novel to english. Era fm to Hitz.fm..Malay drama to english movie..malay magazine to galaxy..and also berita harian to new straits time..
what i wanted to say are, English classes is always my favourite..i have to admit that at first i thought the activities were a little bit childish.however i enjoyed it..the snowball fight was the real ice breaking for me..i need to throw the ball to someone even i don't know him/her..and i have to find the person that i don't even know how he looks like..thank you for the sweet fight..the jobs research activity were a bit boring because this course is not my choice..but the activity had opened my mind that there are job opportunity for you anywhere..i got this course because this is what is meant to me..the speed talk and board game was very interesting because i got to know some personal information about my friends..the teambuilding and mou is something that a bit serious in the lesson as we have to discuss about our personal commitment..and i still wondering where do i got the strength to offer myself as a leader..haha..the good presenter activities has taught me a lot..it make me realize that there are a lot to do make yourself a really good and effective presenter..the last one, train the speaker..this activity is hard..because i am the speaker and i always have tendency to speak more that i should speak..i need to discipline myself..i can't talk more than the time given..really, it was very hard for me..but it trained me to be more careful in my speech..it's all thanks to you madam..

..for snowball fight,i think this activity can make us close with each other and must be focus...that's a interesting activity!!huhu...

a very good evening to madam jumani and dear bloggers...
1) firstly, the snowball fight was really great. I had so much fun especially when the moment that we had to throw the snowball to our friends and stopped doing so when we are told. In other words, this game is so much alike to an ice-breaking. I would never forget this moment as this was the moment when we first met and got to know among the classmates.
2) the research was being conducted in the language lab. During this hour we were being asked to search and discuss regarding the future job that is related to our line of studies.
3) lol! the speed talk was fun as student who got the speed talk turn had to stand and share his or her experience as the question that is being posted on each box tile of the boardgames.
4) this part was where the students were being tought on teambuiding spirit, helping among friends as this would help us in achieving a better results.
5) the video clip was fun as the visual and song was really good. We even did the lip-sing according to the lyrics given ont the screen. =) this respective video clip was all about on how do the students face the nervousness before doing a presentation.
6) i really fond of the movie-slides that were being projected during the class. This was because the movie-slides showed on how a a high rank man who owns a professor title, improved on his presentation skills whereby he was someone who was lack of self-esteem. However, with his own courage, he finally improved on his presentation skills.
