It's been six weeks in UMP but 4 weeks of lessons/ learning 'coz we have to minus the first week and last week, our quarantine week. That's a setback but we'll make up for it. So here's a quick review of what we've done so far and what I'd like for you to tell me is what you've gotten from all the activities. If you got nothing, by all means, tell me also why the activity had no impact on you. After all, hehe, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, just kidding; I was going to say, it's not learning if people already know.
Okay, we did (1) SNOWBALL FIGHT, (2) RESEARCH on job requirement and opportunities, (3) Speed Talk and Board games, (4) TEAMBUILDING and MoU, (5) PRESENT - Steps to be an effective presenter (including the video clips you viewed), and (6) Train the Speaker.

hey hey..
for me, the class uhl2312 is a bit different compared to classes that i've attended previously. what makes it different? the 'ready-ready!' activities, groups racing to collect points from madam and group presentation in almost every class held. how we introduce ourself in the first week already shows the difference of this class where we played snowball, which is quite childish i think. but that's okay to release our tension sometimes. ;) besides that, some assignments given are effective in order to enforce our understanding on the subject.
i think that's all from me for this time being. seems like my 'pen' is running out of ink. haha! looking forward to see more interesting, unexpected learning experience in uhl2312 class!

my first impression when i must taking this subject is i feel it is difficult to me to learn English anymore. but after six week i learn this subject i feel it is good for me because this subject teach me about how to talking in front all my friend,how to be confident when i are talking in front my friend and the other.before this,i don't know how to speak English well but after following this class i feel my vocabulary is better than before.

At first, I'm so fright to attend UHL2313 class because I'm weak in English...
But,after doing so many activities expecially TEAM BUILDING and MoU... I'm become more confident and felt more excited to attend your class...

I'm Norlezam Bin yunus (pc09016),want to comment about uhl 2312 class.For me uhl 2312 class is very different than the other class...this class is very intresting because we are not only learning about theory..but also skill for make us more confident and truss with our self.
For example,learning process not only being held in class but outdoor.it make me enjoy with this class.The activity also intresting because we can release our mind with playing games such as snow ball games,and board games.thats all for today..so,the conclusion is this class is very intresting and i'm really respect our lecture because can make this class so intresting....tq

from the first week I study in UHL2312 classes,I enjoyed to study in there. it is because I have more imformation on how to speak very bravely in english. before im coming in this english classes, I could not speak in english, I'm very week to speak in english, but after join this classes, I feel very brave to speak in english. english classes has a lot of scare for the student for me to study. hehehe. but I try to join this because I believe that I can speak in english.

first,i always think english activity sometimes weird.but actually,give a lot of fun such as snow ball.we throw the ball to our friends and they throw back.it's look like childish.but it's okay because that to make us not bored.
In research activity,it just give me a chance to know detail about what i need to catch to get what i want.so,it's give some benefit for me to know a litle bit about the job.
Speed talk & Board game are good because i can be more understanding who my friend is...
The Teambuilding & Mou also nice.its give me opportunity in knowing & feel how work as a team...
Present by looking video clips "I HATE...PUBLIC SPEAKING...SUDDENLY I SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW..."may be everyone remember this 'catchy' song...a lot of knowledge in how to make presentation become more interesting including behave ourself & to provide GREAT power point...
Train the speaker i don't know too much because i absent in that day...but it's quite give an experience to present better...

In these six week, i really can remember all my friends and can easily figure them which are from this session, P01.This can said is a result and reward from a game, Snowball Fight.Hehe...then from the activity of " Research on job requirement and opportunities",i know that English is important to someone finding a job because almost all company i search are set their basic requirement is can understanding English. From "speed Talk and Board games", i know that the things and the places which my friends Nazrah, Ezam and Bat would like to do and go. At the fourth of UHL2312, the group called " Smile Co-Operation" was built up, i am one of the member. The leader of this group is Miza and she is assisting by Nazrah. The others member are Solehah and Shahi.The class of coming week, Madam Ju was showing us how to become a good presenter and show us a various of video clips. That class i felt so sorry to Madam because i had fall asleep in that lesson.Hehe...
At here, i will promise that i will put my fully attention in the coming classes.

hmmm...so far it is quit good for me specially for speed talk and board games activity,presentation,during last class which is train the speaker.But the most that I enjoyable is during speed talk and broad games. this is because I will know who are my friends,either they are serious person or playful person like Mr.Bean..hahaha..just kidding...actually all activities that mdm Jumani plan and done to us,give a lot of benefits for me..but for other members i don't know..hehehe..

I am very glad to be your student 2009/2010..For me it is the best moment I have been here.
After I attent your class,i have learn a lot og information that you given to all of us..For Earlier,I'm very scare,worried and much more reason to excuses me from learning English.
But after i heard your advice about the 'niat' before attend the class,i started realize that i should improve myself.Without the 'niat'we cannot archive anything that we want.Basically I'm always in my comfort zone.I should out of my comfort zone and be better among the best.
You teaching plan so far is getting the successfulness.Meanwhile,I'm in process learning to changing my self.I learn much more experience in uhl classes instead build my confident level ,how to provide the better presentation,articulation skills to make my voice more louder and also tips to better leaderships.

it's been 6 weeks in UMP and 4 weeks of attending your classes.
during the snowball fight, i found it really interesting and i enjoyed that game. It might be a childish game a bit because we need to throw the ball over and over again until you said stop and we laughed crazily at that time.
hmm..the research on job task was no longer fun to me.it's because i need to present everything about the job at the front.i'm someone who get nervous very easy especially when talking in front of people.
the 3rd game was the speed talk and board games.it was fun but a bit tired because i need to repeat the same question to everyone who came to me.and the board games also very enjoyable.
at first,i felt very awkward during the teambuilding and mou activity because i was not really close to my team members but i think now we are getting friendly to each other. haha..
and the last activity,the train the speaker task, i'm very not happy about that at first.Because,i'm the one who need to present the 'bird' and super junior'stuff. But then,after finished doing it, i found it was interesting..hehe..

I’m Nur Fatin Binti Mat Radzi. To be in UMP for 6 weeks is a challenge for me. Why it is happen? For the first time, I cannot adapt with the environment in the university. Before this, I never been go far from my house, and I always crying every night because miss of my family but after I joined your class, I feel more comfortable and I can adapt with life in the university.
