Hi!
I am Baizurah Rahman and today I want to tell about my eid fitri at my village.

I went back to Malacca with my friends from Kuantan at 2.30 p.m.
Then I arrive at Malacca at 9.30 p.m because the bus faced a problem at Segamat.

At Malacca my uncle take me and treat me a beautiful baju kurung at Taman Chempaka. Then I went my uncle home tiredly after the long journey..

The next morning, as usual, I help my aunty clean her house, bake some cookies. Even tired, I'm very happy doing that because it make me remember my past eid. So happy!

Then, about 2.00 p.m. my family arrive to fetch me home. However we went home after break our fast at my uncle house. That was one of happy moment during the holiday. I arrived at my house about 10.00 p.m.Then, I sleep with my sister named Laila or angah.

The next mornig, my mother woke me up at 4.30 a.m to eat. My mum cooked fish curry and spinach. Very delicious. Then I pray and went back to sleep.

at 9.45 a.m. I help my mother washing clothes and arrange the furniture at my house. It was my tired day..

I do lots of thing with some help from my sibling..then, we break our fast at a restaurant at Muar.

The next morning I with my family went back to Malacca to my grandfather house at Bukit Rambai.and at the evening we break our fast at my grandfather house with all my uncle ,aunty and my cousin. That night was very noisy. My uncle and aunty talking each others with their own story. Some are funny and some are sad.

the next morning was HARI RAYA!!!
I was very-very happy. All of my family wearing their own "baju raya" which gold in colour. My brother was one of the clumsy people because no one bother him. At last, he crying because he does not know how to wear samping. hahaha..
after thet, I ask for forgiveness from all my family members start from my grandfather untill my cousin. I want them to love as I love them.

Then, I with my family went to my grandfather sibling house which located near my grandfather house. One most important thing that happen during that day is a boy (villagers) come to me and ask my phone number because he said that i'm too beautiful. But I refuse to give him my phone number. What a shame. hehehe..

Then, we all taking pictures for our memory..
I was the one who always sit in front of others because I want my face seen by others after the photo finish and ready to be look.
then, my brother name Amin busy count his money..
if I not mistake, on the first day, he manage to get RM 200.00 from my family..I fell very jealous at him.
then, I lay down my head and fall asleep. When I wake up, it already at 7.30 p.m.
what a sleeper..
hehe..
maybe I feel so tired..

The next day was a simple day..
I follow my father to go to his friend house and went back to my grandfather house. At night, my father decide to went back to Muar to celebrate hari raya there. So, we went home at arrive at home at about 11.00 p.m.

The next day, my friend called me said that he will come to my house on that night. So, my mother help me cook my favourite food, "daging rendang". It is so delicious.
So, at about 9.00 p.m. he arrive with his friends to my house. On that night, he try to put water into glass, but he so shame untill one of the glass fall down and luckly, it did not broken. Then, he went away and I continue cleaning the dishes he left.

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you an article about the Istana Sri Menanti, the official residence for the royal family of Negri Sembilan.

Istana Sri Menanti is situated in the royal capital of Sri Menanti, about 13 km from Kuala Pilah and the palace is built between 1902 and 1908. Besides being one of the few last remaining timber palaces in the country, what is also well known about it, which very much surprised me, is that it was constructed without nails.

Another amazing fact is that 99 posts were used in the building’s structure. The four main posts in the middle of the palace are 20 metres high and each post is made from a special cengal tree trunk.

The palace is four stories high and the hardwood timber used in its contruction was extracted from forests in the state. It was designed by two local master builders, Tukang Kahar and Tukang Taib.

The floor plan was drawn in the office of the Public Works Department in Seremban and endorsed in November 1902 by the state engineer and British Residen.

Even though the official palace has moved to a nearby location, the old palace continues to attract the attention of those who drive by this picturesque town, include me. By visiting the palace, I had the opportunity to see for myself the unique building which has no nails been used to constructed the building. For such a feat at that time, it amazes me and I’m very proud to be born in Negri Sembilan. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

I want to share with you one article regarding Mawi’s upcoming wedding with his girlfriend, Ikin.

Come December, the entertainment fraternity will be abuzz with one of the biggest events in the local calendar: the wedding of singer/actor Mawi and his girlfriend, TV personality Ikin.

As you all know, Mawi’s wedding has been the subject of extensive newspaper coverage for the last few month. This is partly because he is the country’s most adored “male sensation” and the fact that his heartthrob has “transformed” herself from being a fun-loving, sociable girl to a “demure lady of his dreams” since they started dating some two years ago. These days, Ikin has taken on a more religious persona by donning the tudung.

Although the wedding is still being kept under wraps, sources revealed that plans for the event are well underway. Astro has obtained the rights to broadcast the wedding. It is believed to be held on December 19 and 20, and will take place in their respective hometowns in Johor Baru and Kulai.

The reception will be at the Palace of the Golden Horses in Sungai Besi, Selangor, on December 28. It will be attended by celebrities, dignities and members of royalty.

Although I’m not a fan of Mawi like many of my friends, I hope his wedding will be special and going as what as he hope for. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I was really shocked when I read a news article with the headline ‘Teacher kicked, slapped by two Form 2 girls’.

It is unbelievable as students should respect their teachers for all the hard work that their teachers had done in delivering the education and help them understand what they learn. But this horrible scene encountered by this 27-year old Physics teacher makes her traumatized although she does not have any physical injuries.

Azhana Ibrahim was assaulted after being involved in an argument with two Form Two students at 10am. The argument was over a crude word which one of the students had written in a class project report. The teacher sought an explanation from the students, both 14, which ended in a shouting match. Azhana and the two students also traded slaps in the incident at Sekolah Menengah Perlis here.

In my opinion, those student involved in the fracas with their students should be reprimanded and given heavy fines for their lack of attitude. They need guidance by their parents to respect their teachers and asked for forgiveness from their teachers. I hope all students will learn from this event that teachers is also like human too and need to be respected for their tremendous work in the community. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I read upon an article regarding the useful of credit cards when travelling.

When travelling, it’s often better to carry credit cards instead of cash. This way, if the cards are stolen, I can call the support centre and cancel my cards. With stolen cash, I’ll not be able to get it back and will then be stranded without money.

So before I go for my trip, especially to a foreign land, I should call my credit card company or bank to tell them about my trip and that I’ll be using my card there. I also have to make sure that my credit card has ample credit balance. In case of contingencies, maybe I need to inquire about getting a higher credit limit.

When making purchases by card, I should check the amount on the card slip twice before signing as anyone can make a mistake, whether intentionally or by accident. It’s also good for me to check my bill statement promptly to see if there are “suspicious” charges. If there are, I need to report them immediately.

Travelling is fun for me but the hassle of travelling include bringing cash is a burden to me but with credit cards, my travelling will be much easier as I do not need to be worry about stolen or missing or not enough cash. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I read an article about the Tourism Malaysia in promoting sales carnival.

With shopping being uppermost in the minds of most tourists, the Tourism Malaysia has stepped up its promotion for the year end sales carnival.

Besides holidaying, tourists are known to visit Malaysia for the carnival, now known as the Malaysia Savers Sale. This time around, the event will run from Nov 29 to Jan 4 next year. The ministry will be setting up a special secretariat to help promote the carnival, which made its debut in 2006 and is part of the popular Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival that runs between July and September.

The main role of the secretariat is to ensure proper coordination between the public and private tourism organizations in promoting the event. Its minister, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, says Malaysia is considered one of the top shopping destinations in the Asian region.

Although it is good for the country to attract visitors from all over the world to promote the tourism industry, I hope the sales carnival should be longer and run the event during our semester break as I can also hop in the shopper’s bandwagon and enjoying great discounts for selected items. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Last week I read upon a magazine called “NewMan”. It is a locally published magazine dedicated to man. For me, the title seems to be referring to the hope that readers belong to a new breed of man, although they obviously still like their magazines with women (mostly scantily clad!) on the cover.

In this October 2008 issue, the magazine covers all things related to men with the main article is on the cover girl for this month: model Danielle Graham, who explains why life is a bright shade of yellow. There is also an interview with the people who are shaping the Internet world such as Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg.

Another interesting section is the magazine’s regular travel writer, Erik Fearn, who guides readers through the wilds of our own Kelabit Highlands in Sarawak.

The magazine is quite interesting in regards of the articles provided but some of the pictures of the advertisements is surely satisfying those male reader’s desires. Thank you for reading.

Hi..

"PSP"

The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Development of the console was first announced during E3 2003, and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004 at a Sony press conference before E3 2004. The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004, in North America on March 24, 2005, and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005. The PlayStation Portable is the first handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), as its primary storage media. Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen, robust multi-media capabilities, and connectivity with the PlayStation 3, other PSPs, and the Internet. Despite the console's superior computing power and its multimedia capabilities, sales have consistently lagged behind its main competitor, the Nintendo DS. After the release of a remodeled, slimmer, and lighter version of the PlayStation Portable, appropriately titled Slim and Lite, in early September 2007, sales quadrupled in the United Kingdom the following week and increased by nearly 200% in North America for the month of October.

wow! i love PSP. Thank you.

Hi everyone!

Today I read upon a health article regarding on physical activity and cancer.

As we all know, cancers are among the most important causes of death in this country. In many of its form, cancer is a disease that can cause great suffering and claims many lives.

However, cancer is not an inevitable consequence of ageing, and people’s susceptibility to it varies. There is now general consensus shared by scientists, health professionals, and policy makers on the relationships between food, nutrition, physical activity, body composition, and the risk of cancer.

The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) expert panel reviewed available evidence and concluded that since the early 1990s, the evidence that physical activity can protect against cancer and obesity has continued to grow.

The expert report found convincing evidence that physical activity protects against bowel/colon cancer. It probably also protects against breast cancer and endometrial (womb) cancer.

Studies show that regular activity can help to keep our hormone levels healthy, which is important as having high levels of some hormones can increase our cancer risk.

Physical activity may also strengthen our immune system, help keep our digestive system healthy and allow us to consume more food – and more cancer-protective nutrients – without gaining weight.

To prevent these cancers, the overall evidence supports the message that all types and degrees of physical activity are or may be protective, excluding extreme levels of activity.

It also means that the more physically active people are, the better. It should be noted however that there is limited evidence for any specific type or degree of physical activity.

So from now onwards, I should be physically active and ready to do any activities that gets my heart beats a bit faster and makes me breath more deeply such as brisk walking, swimming (which I like most!), dancing and doing housework briskly. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with all of you about Asimo.

Ever heard the name Asimo? Well Asimo, an acronym for Advanced Step In Innovative Mobility, is Honda’s first humanoid robot. It will visit Malaysia next month to showcase its latest abilities such as running, gripping objects and recognizing people, and at the same time bring hope and inspiration as it progresses closer to ease people’s life through mobility innovations.

Born on Oct 31, 2000, at 1.3 metres tall and 54 kilograms, Asimo’s size and weight allow him to operate among humans. He is equipped with advanced walking technology, wider arm operating parameters and people-friendly design to function efficiently.

I hope that human will not misuse the technology Asimo have as it certainly helps a lot in terms of daily chores and human assistant in home or office. Maybe if I have the opportunity to own one, I will be happy if Asimo will help me doing my English assignments and blog comments. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I read upon an article regarding on grouted masonry from the internet.

Grout means a thin mortar that can be poured and used to fill cracks in masonry and brickworks, meaning grout is mainly used to reinforce masonry.

Grout is placed in the cells of hollow masonry units and in relatively narrow grout spaces in brick walls in heights of anywhere from just a few inches to as high as 25 feet, as in the case of high lift grouting.
Accordingly, grout must be fluid, it must completely fill the cells, the grout space and the joints between masonry units in order to provide a solid, homogeneous grouted masonry wall.
If the grout is stiff, it will not flow into the cells or grout space, but will hang up and leave voids within the wall. Grout must have fluidity with a slump of eight to ten inches. This fluidity allows the grout to flow through the grout space, around the reinforcing bars and completely surround and bond to the steel and masonry unit.

Now I know what is the use of grouted masonry in construction of buildings, as it reinforce the masonry with enough force and strength. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I read on the article about the Chikungunya virus which made headlines a few weeks ago.

Chikungunya ( in Makonde "that which bends up") virus is an insect-borne virus, of the genus, Alphavirus, that is transmitted to humans by virus-carrying Aedes mosquitoes. There have been recent outbreaks of Chikungunya associated with severe morbidity. Chikungunya causes an illness with symptoms similar to dengue fever. Chikungunya manifests itself with an acute febrile phase of the illness lasts only two to five days, followed by a prolonged arthralgic disease that affects the joints of the extremities. The pain associated with Chikungunya infection of the joints persists for weeks or months.

Jempol, which has the biggest Felda settlement in Negri Sembilan, recorded the highest number of Chikungunya cases in the past one week. State health department director Dr Zainal Ariffin said 94 cases were reported in the district last week, of which 78 tested positive, while the rest were suspected cases.

He said there were no specific treatments or vaccines for the disease, and most patients are normally given outpatient. Chikungunya is often mistaken for dengue fever as the early symptoms are very similar, especially the high fever. However, Chikungunya is noted to cause severe joint pain, but is not fatal. The main factor for the spread of the virus is water in open cans, unused tyres and others which act as mosquito breeding grounds.

Dr Zainal said the best medicine for the disease was to eradicate potential breeding grounds of these mosquitos.

From now on, I will make sure my home is free from potentially breeding grounds for mosquitos by ensuring cleanliness in and around my house as it is an essential part towards healthy living and we must place important emphasis on this. Thank you for reading.

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you about one of my most anticipated movie of the year, Cicakman 2: Planet Hitam.

Cicakman 2: Planet Hitam is the RM2.5 million sequel for the block-buster Cicakman starring Saiful Apek reprises his role as the Cicakman, Yusry KRU, Fasha Sandha and Aznil Haji Nawawi as the devilish Profesor Klon.

In Cicakman 2: Planet Hitam, the evil Profesor Klon is back. This time, his aim is not only to overthrow the government and become the President of Metrofulus but also to control the world’s supply of fresh water through an evil plan which he calls the “Black Water”.

Our very own superhero will faces his old enemies, the Ginger Boys, who return in a more powerful and spiritual form, as Ginger Ghosts. He also has to deal with Profesor Klon’s hired assassin Rrama, who derives pleasure in killing.

The first Cicakman collected RM6 million, the highest taking in the local box-office in 2006.

Cicakman 2: Planet Hitam will be released in 70 cinemas on Dec 11 by KRU Studios with the goal of selling a million ticket compared to 670,000 tickets for Cicakman.

This is one of the movies I’ve been waiting for as I really like to watch modern Malay movies especially films that starring funnyman Saiful Apek. It is enjoyable to watch this kind of movies and suitable for the whole family include children. So better for me to book the cinema ticket early for this movie. Thank you for reading.

fastest marathon runner declare a winner...
O'Connell ran the fastest time in last Sunday's Nike Women's Marathon, but when she finished she was told she couldn't be awarded first place because she hadn't run in the "elite" women's group, which was given a 20-minute head start.
O'Connell said she was contacted early this morning by a Nike representative who said they were going to award her a trophy and recognize her as a winner.
Not the winner - "a" winner. Notice the distinction.
O'Connell's story, which first appeared in Tuesday's Chronicle, set off a firestorm of controversy, most of it directed at corporate sports giant and race sponsor, Nike.
O'Connell said the Nike representative also said that the sports shoe corporation had also decided to eliminate the "elite" category in the annual San Francisco event and would let everyone start at the same time.
The annual event is billed as the largest women's marathon in the world with 20,000 entries. O'Connell ran the race in 2 hours, 55 minutes and 11 seconds. The fastest woman in the elite group ran it in about 3 hours, 6 minutes.

friends...everyone need a friend.. without friends we feel alone..now..i will tell u what the means of friendship after i read the book about FRIENDSHIP..
'Friendship' is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more beings. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them. Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating the following on a consistent basis:

-the tendency to desire what is best for the other,
-sympathy and empathy,
honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth, especially in terms of pointing out the perceived faults of one's counterpart
-mutual understanding.

Today i've read an article about health, better understanding of chronic obstructive pulmonary

If we get cough, breathless,or wheeze, we may be suffer from undiagnosed respiratory disease.

More than 80 million people in China will die in the next 25 years from respiratory disease.

Smoking is the major thing taht can cause this desease. You only have to look around you.
Tobacco smoke damages your lungs.

What is COPD?

COPD primarily encompasses two related respiratory conditions known as chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Persistent airway inflammation features in chronic bronchitis and this leads to coughing, phlegm production, breathlessness and wheezing.

Lung tissue destruction occurs in emphysema causing the organ to lose its natural elasticity. As a result, air becomes trapped in the lungs when the airways collapse during exhalation. This leads to hyper-inflation of the lungs.

Oxygen delivery from the lungs into the bloodstream is also diminished. This is because the tiny air sacs in the lungs become enlarged and are no longer able to function properly.

Symptoms

They tend to set around your middle 30s. Symptoms are gradual over time. You may not notice anything amiss until a problem may be at hand.

You may notice that you get a little breathless when climbing stairs or have difficulty keeping up with your contemporaries. You cough quite often or bring up thick phlegm, especially when you wake up in the mornings.

You may even hear yourself wheeze on occasions. You may find that you are unable to gain weight. Perhaps, you are losing weight without dieting or exercising. Pay attention to these symptoms as they may be pointing towards an underlying respiratory disease such as COPD.

What do you need to do?

If you suspect that you have a respiratory condition, visit a respiratory physician without delay. Early diagnosis and treatment may prevent further problems.

It may also minimise deterioration of your condition and avert hospitalisation. The doctor will take your detailed history and do the appropriate investigations.

Investigations

You will be required to undergo a simple procedure known as spirometry which simply involves you blowing into a machine via a mouthpiece. This will allow basic measurement of respiratory function to determine whether you have narrowing of your airways.

You may be required to undergo further tests to assess the volume of your lungs. In people with COPD, there is air trapping where the lungs may become hyper-inflated.

Another test is the diffusion study which involves breathing in a mixture of gas. This test will determine whether you have damage in the tiny lung air sacs which may affect the transport of oxygen from your lungs into your bloodstream.

The three tests above are commonly performed together and are known collectively as a full respiratory function test.

A chest X-ray will be required to assess your lungs. This will usually be followed up by a CT scan of your chest should there be any abnormality detected on your X-ray.

Treatment

The aim of treatment in COPD is to provide symptomatic relief as well as to minimise flare-ups and hospitalisation.

There are generally two forms of medication. One is delivered through inhaler devices and the other ingested as oral tablets.

Inhaler therapy opens up the airways in your lungs. It also dampens down airway inflammation. This will enable you to breathe better. It will also help you to feel less breathless. You may feel more energetic.

Inhaled medication can also be delivered through a spacer or nebuliser device. The latter is the usual mode of treatment for patients.

Oral tablets work in conjunction with inhaler therapy. They are complementary by helping the airways stay open as well as keeping inflammation in check.

Sometimes, a flare-up requiring hospitalisation occurs. Do not worry if this happens as people with COPD are more prone to chest infections.

It is best to be always on the look out for chest infections. If treated early, a full blown flare-up may be avoided.

A machine to help breathing may sometimes be required for hospital patients. Some people with COPD may find that they need oxygen therapy at home.

Surgery for COPD may be an option but only for the select few. It is complex and difficult with many potential complications.

The same criteria apply to lung transplantation.

It is now well recognised that a multidisciplinary approach is best with COPD. This is known as pulmonary rehabilitation. It involves the expertise of healthcare providers from various specialties. These usually consist of respiratory specialists, physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, counsellors and dieticians.

Warning signs

COPD may affect your heart when it causes the blood vessels in your lungs to constrict and harden. This results in an increase of pressure in your lungs which causes your heart to strain as it struggles to pump blood to the lungs.

You may experience ankle swelling as a result. You may also find that you are unable to lie flat when you sleep because of breathlessness.

If you cough up blood or notice streaks of it in your phlegm, see your respiratory specialist without delay. You may also be losing weight for no apparent reason. You must be wary of these symptoms as COPD is associated with an increased risk of lung cancer.

i just done reading an article about the WHITE AMUR TIGER..
this kind of tiger can be list as a mySthical creature on earth as the existence of pure white amur tiger has not been scientifically proven despite occasional reports of sightings of white tigers in th regions where wild siberian tigers live. From what i read,it is quite possible that the gene for white coating does not exist in the siberian tigers population..
the wild siberian tigers population was nearly extincnt during the middle of 20th century.
the famous white siberian tiger in captivity are actually not the pure one.
It is actuallty a result of siberian tigers breeding with bengal tigers from india.
a white tiger is considered a mutant variant of the tiger subspecies.
the estimation of wild tigers births resulting in a white tiger is 1 to 10,000.
well..
beside the loch ness monster,

Actually the book that i had read has four parts..For the beginning let us start with the first one...

Ring is an editor, journalist, and frequent writer on literary subjects. In the following essay, she discusses how the interpretation of "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber" hinges on one's interpretation of Wilson.

"The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber," first published in 1936, remains noteworthy for several reasons. It is particularly well known for the debate It has generated concerning its characters and their motivations. It also is significant as an exploration of themes that appear frequently in Ernest Hemingway's fiction and as a superior example of the art of short-story writing.

Many critics and readers have debated whether Margot Macomber kills her husband intentionally or accidentally. How one answers this question depends largely on how negatively or positively one views the story's three primary characters. Numerous scholars have held up Margot Macomber.....

continue..

In the following essay, the authors outline Hemingway's knowledge of big game hunting and how he applied those principals to develop the plot of "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber. "

While "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber" has long been acclaimed as one of Hemingway's most successful artistic achievements, criticism about the actual shooting of Macomber has focused primarily on whether or not it was an accident, and the implications of this for the understanding of the story and characters, especially Wilson and Mrs. Macomber. Emphasis on this question has diverted attention from the technical merits of the sequence of events Hemingway devised for Macomber's death. This sequence not only exhibits the vivid realism, sensory evocation and viewpoint manipulation characteristic of the rest of the story, but also depends heavily for Its success.....

In the following essay, Johnston analyzes the character of Margot Macomber in "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber," pointing out evidence that paints her as more complicated than a one-dimensional villain.

Margot Macomber deserves her day in court of appeals. She so aroused the emotions and prejudices of her critics that, in a manner of speaking, they rushed her to trial, before the smoke and dust had settled, in a "drumhead court" on the field of battle. Without a thorough examination of the evidence, or of the motives of her chief accuser, they found her guilty as charged-guilty, or, at the very least, not innocent, of the murder of her husband, Francis Macomber.

In the following brief essay, Bell argues that the character of Wilson in "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber" is a man who lives by the moral code of the hunter, which explains his actions towards Margot at the end of the story.

Ernest Hemingway's story "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber" is often taught in both high school and college classrooms because it is a good story, one that appeals at one and the same time to the Hemingway scholar as well as to youth in general. As widely read and as widely taught as it is, though, it is often misunderstood and misinterpreted by both teachers and students alike with regard to Robert Wilson's treatment of Margot Macomber at the very end of the story.

today i would like to share with you about water..
Water is very important to our life. For me water is life. Without water ,there will be no life on earth. Both animals and plants need water to live. Both will die after a certain period without water.Water is needed in both animals and plants for the digestion or making of food, for the transportation of food and also for the absortion of food.
Although the world we live in is almost three- quarters water, there is not enough of it for everyone’s need. So that we must appreciate that and try to save it.

do you all know about MOTI??
have you ever heard about that word??

How? Send them a Moti?

"What is a Moti?" I here you asking.

A Moti is a series of motivational or inspirational text messages that you can create for your family and friends.

It all started when I had a friend who was going through a rough patch in her relationship. She was feeling really down, and I wanted to do something to cheer her up, and I thought "What better way to brighten her day than send her a motivational text message each day!" SHE LOVED IT!

She so looked forward to her daily moti that she would make a point to go and get a cup of tea when she received them each day, and take a little moment for herself. It felt so good to make her smile again!

It wasn't long before I wanted to start sending Motis to more of my friends, but sending text messages individually from my phone was going to take too long. I needed help. And so it was that the Motitext site was born.

As i am taking the environmental engineering courses..that day i had a chance to explore the true meaning and understand more about the course that i want to proceed on...here there are...

Environmental engineers are the technical professionals who identify and design solutions for environmental problems. Environmental engineers provide safe drinking water, treat and properly dispose of wastes, maintain air quality, control water pollution, and remediate sites contaminated due to spills or improper disposal of hazardous substances. They monitor the quality of the air, water, and land. And, they develop new and improved means to protect the environment.

Although many people are concerned about the state of our environment, environmental engineers are the people who do things to protect it from damage and to correct existing problems. Environmental engineers possess the scientific and technical knowledge to identify, design, build, and operate systems that make modern society possible. In addition to being a field for doing, the environmental engineering field and environmental engineering education are multi-disciplinary. They involve traditional engineering components such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering design. But environmental engineering education and practice also includes a range of other disciplines, such as biology, microbiology, ecology, public health, geology, meteorology, economics, political science, and computer science. To address the spectrum of issues facing the environment, environmental engineers are broadly educated, as well as technically trained.

Friendship and friends continue to remain central to our lives. The relationship that we share with our friends is grounded in a mutual concern as our friends help us in shaping up our personalities as well. Even in this age of online social networking and ecards, the need of expanding the network of friends, whether online or offline remains a primary concern for people. We may have a very vague understanding of what makes a friend but we all want to have a good many number of friends around us.

Research has shown that the quality and nature of your friends are one of the key influencing factors in achieving happiness, self esteem, and satisfaction. Friends often affect the health and energy of a person as well. More and more people are increasingly turning towards their friends for support and mutual sharing rather than communicating to their relatives; and this sociological phenomenon has escalated the desire to make more friends. Though friendship is an impulsive relationship developed between two autonomous individuals marked by a voluntary, emotional and mutual concern, but there are certain steps, which, if implemented can win you friends or at least help you get close to those whom you want to make your friends.

The first step to make friends with someone is to make them like you. If they don’t like you in the first place, it is unlikely that they’ll be eager to become your friends. To let someone know that you are genuinely interested in them, simple gestures like a little smile and calling him by his name can lay the basic foundation. To make the other person feel important you need to be a good listener and encourage the other person to talk. Give your honest and sincere opinion but do not overtly criticize or make fun of him or her.

The second step of making someone your friend is to develop a mutual consideration between each other. You need to share his or her perspective and for that it is necessary for you to develop an inclination to see things from the other person’s point of view. To become best of friends you must show a genuine concern and consideration for your friend’s desires and opinions.

The third and final step towards friendship is to show your unconditional support and encouragement towards your friend. Moreover, you also need to be very clear about your expectations from your friend. If what you expect from the person you want to befriend, matches with what that person can and want to contribute in friendship, the developing friendship between you and your friend is assured to flourish, making both of you gratified with mutual emotional bonding.

Friendship has overwhelming significance on both social and individual level. Friendship doesn’t only provide us with emotional as well as utilitarian support but it also helps us to improve our personal identities. So it is quite natural to feel the urge to reach out and make new friends, expanding your friend’s circle. Using the internet and the associated services like free friendship ecards come as a natural extension to this escalating aspiration. Friendship remains familiar yet quite ambiguous for our deeper understanding of this elusive relationship but then again, friends remain the most important ingredients in the recipe of life!

My eyes was captured with the title of this book which is..
THOUGHTS ON LIFE..all the points in this book will ones experience it..but..the things is we dont know when, where and why it is happen...here are some summary that i used to picked from this book..

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Today i would like to share you a fact about pen. I'm sure that everyone of you have used pen before. As a student, pen is a part of a student life. Every where student go, i am sure they will bring pen with them.

A pen in Latin called pinna or mean feather is a writing instrument that used to apply ink to one surface. Usually human will write on the paper. There are many types of pen such as ballpoint, rollerball, fountain and felt-tip.

A ballpoint pen dispenses oil-based ink by rolling a small hard sphere that made of brass, steel or tungsten carbide. The size of the sphere usually 700–1200 µm.

A fountain pen uses water-based liquid or gel ink through a ball tip. This process is similar to the ballpoint pen.

A felt-tip pen or usually known as marker pen has a porous tip of fibrous material. Larger markers are used for writing on other surfaces such as cardboard boxes and whiteboards. The smallest and finest-tipped markers are usually used for writing on paper.

For more information my dear friend, you can visit this web site http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pen. In this web site you will read more about pen in it types, history and manufacturers.

have you ever heard about atlantis?
lets read it together, i just got this from a friend of mine.

Atlantis (in Greek, Ἀτλαντὶς, "daughter of Atlas") is a legendary island first mentioned in Plato's dialogues Timaeus and Critias.

In Plato's account Atlantis was a naval power lying "beyond the Pillars of Hercules" that conquered many parts of Western Europe and Africa 9,000 years before the time of Solon, or approximately 9600 BC. After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune".

As a story embedded in Plato's dialogues, Atlantis is generally seen as a myth created by Plato to illustrate his political theories[citation needed]. Although the function of the story of Atlantis seems clear to most scholars, they dispute whether and how much Plato's account was inspired by older traditions. Some scholars argue Plato drew upon memories of past events such as the Thera eruption or the Trojan War, while others insist that he took inspiration from contemporary events like the destruction of Helike in 373 BC or the failed Athenian invasion of Sicily in 415–413 BC.

The possible existence of a genuine Atlantis was actively discussed throughout classical antiquity, but it was usually rejected and occasionally parodied by later authors. While little known during the Middle Ages, the story of Atlantis was rediscovered by Humanists in the Modern period. Plato's description inspired the utopian works of several Renaissance writers, like Francis Bacon's "New Atlantis". Atlantis inspires today's literature, from science fiction to comic books to films, its name having become a byword for any and all supposed advanced prehistoric lost civilizations.

marriage between the various races should be encouraged.I had caught this article in one of the hottest megazine in Malaysia..what do you think of it??

For me i would absolutely give OF COURSE..in fact i think that is a very good idea..

the first reason is genetics.cross- breeding produces the best.children of mixes marriages get the best genes from both parents.they are hardier, mmore intelligent and better looking.for example, many european royal families married among themselves in order to keep their power within themselves.the resulat was hemofilia among many of the male children.hemophilia is a disease usually passed on by mother to their male children in which the blood fails to clot and even a small cut can cause severe bleeding.

the second reason i support marriage between the different races is for the sake of unity and harmony. When people inter- marry race is deemphasised.we will not think of ourselves as malays, chinese,or indian any more.we will think of ourselves as just malaysian.there will be no more differences among all the citizens in this country.this is very good for unity and harmony.there will be no more racial disturbance because we will then be of oonly one race.with all malaysian united and living harmoniously the country can then concentrate on progress..

till then..
thank you!!

I already read the book entitle Al-Aqsa dan Tembok Pemisah. The book is story about Palestine and Israel which are arguing to get their rights. The tembok was built with various type of dangerous sources such as, cement and electric gates. The tembok has been controlled by the guards who have weapons. The construction gives the negative sides especially to the Palestinians. Hence, we as a Muslim should instil our heart to take initiative and concern about current issues. Lastly, this issues must be settle earlier to help the Palestinians.

I have read an article how to care our skin in daily life. A soft, smooth and supple skin can take your confidence to that height you were dreaming for. A natural glow on your skin comes with proper care of your skin. Skin products available in the market take away the natural oil from your skin and make it dull and dry.
A moisturizing will protect your skin from moisture loss, helping to keep it soft, smooth and supple. It will also protect your skin from the penetration of grime, chemicals and bacteria. We all need moisturizers, even those of us with the most oily skin, but obviously it's important to choose the correct one for your skin type.
Apply moisturizer to your skin while it is still slightly damp from balancing. This enhances the moisturizing effect. Spread it gently, first on to your neck then up on to your face being careful not to drag the skin - particularly around the delicate eye area.
Make sure you use moisturizer with vegetable oil base. Mineral oil is not compatible with skin so baby lotion and petroleum jelly products are therefore best avoided.
Try any of the following to turn your day or night cream into beneficial aromatherapy treatment.
The ratio is two drops of aromatherapy oil to 4 fl oz (100 ml) of cream either used singly or in combination.

There was a news which make me feels empathy and sad. There was an incident in Kampung Tanjung Api, Kuantan, where one house on fired. At 8 p.m at that time, the victim and his wife were watching television while their children were going out to reciting Al-Quran. After that, their children shouted that they saw fire in the kitchen. At the same time, the wind was so fast and made the fire become so big. Without hesitated, they took the significant documents and car before they run to save their lives. The victims was so sad in addition the house is the heritage from his parents who were already passed away. But he was very grateful because nobody was hurt or injured.

for this october..... i have read about malaysian's queen of bowling.

SHALIN Zulkifli took on the men in the Professional Bowlers' Association (PBA) Solari Forms Regional and despite the odds, made an impression at the Pacific Avenue Bowl in California on Saturday.

Shalin, posted a creditable eight-game total of 1,646 to finish 40th out of 200 bowlers. However, her effort was not good enough to qualify her for the second stage.

The top three bowlers in the event were Chris Warren Oregon on 1,903, followed by Scott Norton (1,860) and Jason Milligan (1,837).

Shalin's outing in the event is part of her preparations for the PBA Women's Tour, which starts in October.

She is the first Malaysian to qualify for the tour after finishing fourth in the recent US Women's Open, despite turning professional only in May.

Shalin heads back to Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday and will return to the US a week before the tour's opening event -- the Viper Championships on Oct 29-Nov 2.

Do you like to eat honey? Do you know the Advantages of Eating Honey? Honey, one of the natural syrups, contains glucose, fructose, vitamins, and minerals. It offers a large number of benefits. Honey was considered good for health in ancient times, and the story continues till today even after scientific intervention—researchers also accepted its value and they endorsed its use in various ways. There is no doubt that eating honey is beneficial, but sometimes it can also be good if used as conditioner or moisturizer. Following are few of the advantages of eating honey: Firstly eating honey leads to increase in the antioxidant levels, which are helpful in protecting cell damages caused by free radicals. The ability of the honey to increase the antioxidant level can be determined by the color itself—darker the honey, higher will be the antioxidant levels. Secondly can heal wounds and is also helpful in case of stomach aches and dehydration. Honey can also be used to cure ulcers—stomach ulcers, in particular. Honey can also cure certain allergies! Yes, it is true that honey can help a person suffering from allergy. The honey from the local area of the sufferer, in particular, can give best results. Above all, it does not contain any chemicals or harmful ingredients which are present in other medicines, and therefore, is free from side-effects. Lastly honey also Provides several vitamins and minerals
such as B1, B2, C, B6, B5, and B3 along with several minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphate, potassium, sodium chlorine, and sulfur. It also contains copper, iodine, zinc, and several kinds of hormones. All these are required by human body in some quantity. So I advice to all of you to eat honey because it have more benefits to us.

Hello guys!!!
How many of you like to eat carrot? Carrot is good for eyes. But have you ever think why carrots are good for your eyes? Firstly, carrots contains vitamin A, which you need for all sorts of body tissues functions. One of these is formation of eye pigments involved in good night version. Of course, eating carrots won’t cure the need for glasses, but a deficiency in vitamin A could harm your sight. Leafy green vegetables and deep orange vegetables are other foods rich in vitamin A. So I suggest to all of you to eat vegetables because can give many benefits to our body.. that all from me..
Thank you..

Hello!!!!!!!!!
Today am going to share with you what I have read. Do you ever think how rainbow happen? Here am going to tell detail how rainbow happen.
WHITE light is composed of all wavelengths of visible light.
This means that the waves that make up sunlight and incandescent
light are a mixture of all the colors of the spectrum.
If we could somehow break up this white light, we may be
Able to see the various components of that light: the spectrum
of colors. As we've seen before, special optical devices called prisms can split white light into its various wavelengths.
This can happen because the different colors in the white light respond to the glass in different ways. Blue light tends to bend, or refract, more than the wavelengths corresponding to green, and green light refracts more than the wavelengths corresponding to red. This effect is called dispersion and occurs in all substances which refract light. Our ‘glass’ of water, like the prism, refracts and disperses light. As the sunlight streams through the window and into the water (the glass of the "glass" helps a bit, too), the light is bent (refracted) and broken up (dispersed). When the light reemerges from the other side of the glass of water, it's heading in a slightly different direction from its original path and it's no longer just white light. We see a fantastic spectrum of colors on the floor.
That all for today..thank you for reading…

Have you ever think how do ants smell odours and what are pheromones?
Have you ever noticed how quickly ants react if you sleep on their anthill? Within seconds, they will come pouring out of ground in order to protect their home and queen. They cab have such a quick response because of pheromones. Pheromones are special chemicals that are used as a type of language among some animals. Ants use of pheromones because they are social insects, and need to communicate within their nest. There is a food signaling pheromones that help them make those long trails to food and there are panic pheromones that tell them to begin protecting the nest from attack. Ants can detect these pheromones using special receptors on their antenna. Ants need these pheromones because they have to live and work in such a big group, and they need a way to communicate in order to make things work right.

Heloo everybody!!!
Have you ever think what is sms and mms? Actually

SHORT Message. Service (SMS)is a communications protocol
allowing the interchange of short text messages between mobile
telephone devices. The SMS technology has facilitated
the development and growth of text messaging. The connection between the
phenomenon of text messaging and the underlying technology is so great that in parts of the world the term SMS is used colloquially as a synonym for a text message from another person or the act of sending a text message (even
when, as with MMS, a different underlying protocol is being used). SMS as used on modern handsets was originally defined as part of the GSM series of standards in 1985 as a means of sending messages of up to 160 characters
(including spaces), to and from GSM mobile handsets. Since then, support for the service has expanded to include alternative mobile standards such as ANSI CDMA networks and Digital AMPS, as well as satellite and landline networks.
Most SMS messages are mobile-to-mobile text messages, though the standard supports other types of broadcast messaging as well. While mms is MULTIMEDIA Messaging Service (MMS) is a standard for telephone messaging
systems that allows sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text) and not just text as in Short Message Service(SMS).
It is mainly deployed in cellular networks along with other messaging systems
like SMS, Mobile Instant Messaging and Mobile E-mail.MMS in mobile phones
enable subscribers to compose and send messages with one or more multimedia
parts.Multimedia parts may include text, images, audio and video. These content
types should conform to the MMS Standards. For example, your phone can send an MPEG-4 video in AVI format, but the other party who is receiving the MMS may not be able to interpret it.To avoid this, all mobiles should follow the standards defined by OMA. Mobile phones with built-in or attached cameras,
or with built-in MP3 players are very likely to also have an MMS messaging
client software program that interacts with the mobile subscriber to compose, address, send, receive, and view MMS messages.
that all from me..thank you=p

Hi everybody!!!!
I have read one stories and the title of the stories is The princess and the pea by Hans Christian Andersen. The story is about the prince who wanted to marry a princess; but she would have to be a real princess. He travelled all over the world to find one, but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were princesses enough, but it was difficult to find out whether they were real ones. There was always something about them that was not as it should be. So he came home again and was sad, for he would have liked very much to have a real princess.
One evening a terrible storm came on; there was thunder and lightning, and the rain poured down in torrents. Suddenly a knocking was heard at the city gate, and the old king went to open it.
It was a princess standing out there in front of the gate. But, good gracious! what a sight the rain and the wind had made her look. The water ran down from her hair and clothes; it ran down into the toes of her shoes and out again at the heels. And yet she said that she was a real princess.
Well, we'll soon find that out, thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses.
On this the princess had to lie all night. In the morning she was asked how she had slept.
"Oh, very badly!" said she. "I have scarcely closed my eyes all night. Heaven only knows what was in the bed, but I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It's horrible!"
Now they knew that she was a real princess because she had felt the pea right through the twenty mattresses and the twenty eider-down beds.
Nobody but a real princess could be as sensitive as that.
So the prince took her for his wife, for now he knew that he had a real princess; and the pea was put in the museum, where it may still be seen, if no one has stolen it.
There, that is a true story.

This month reading is Sleep: What's Going On Behind That Shut-Eye?

Have you ever watched someone sleep and wondered what he or she was dreaming? The person’s outward appearance would never give it away: slow breathing, eyes occasionally fluttering, but mostly the very picture of peace and stillness. But, appearances can be deceiving. When people sleep, there’s a lot more going on than meets the eye. The notion of sleep as the body’s ultimate “down time” has some truth to it, but sleep is also an active process, in which the brain can be remarkably active, even if the body remains (mostly) immobile.

What’s Going On During Sleep?
There is much about sleep that remains mysterious, but experts divide it into two main categories, based on observations of sleeping persons and recordings of the brain’s electrical activity during sleep:
#

Non-REM sleep– This is divided into four stages, with Stage 1 the lightest and Stage 4 the deepest.
#

Rapid-eye movement (REM) sleep - During REM sleep, dreaming is common, muscles (other than the eyes) are inactive, and electrical activity in the brain is similar to that of an awake person. The blood pressure and heart and breathing rates may suddenly increase for short periods of time, just as they do during wakefulness

During a typical eight-hour period of sleep, a person drifts from wakefulness to Stage 1 non-REM sleep, through Stages 2, 3 and 4 and finally REM sleep over the first several hours. During the last half of the night, REM sleep and Stage 2 sleep alternate for 90 to 120 minutes each. As we age, brief awakenings increase in frequency, while deeper stages of non-REM sleep decrease.

so if you want to experience this....just sleep...hehehe...

today i want to share with all of you about cameron highlands...i prefer this topic because i know many of you still did not know about it's history...right...

The Highlands were named after William Cameron, a British colonial government surveyor who discovered the plateau during a mapping expedition in 1885.

The fame of Cameron Highlands then grew during the colonial era when British planters realised the potential of its fertile mountain slopes for growing tea, then a prized commodity.
Cameron Highlands is still home to many tea plantations, being Malaysia's largest tea-producing region. With its many farms the area is also known as a major supplier of legumes and vegetables to both Malaysia and Singapore, and is one of Malaysia's prime tourist destinations.
For your information also my friends..

The size of the whole Cameron Highlands district is roughly two and a quarter times the size of Singapore..huhu...how biggest it is..
so...we must proud about that..

Have you ever think the history of the internet when you surf it?
Everybody maybe does not realize where does internet come from?
It is true what I have saying? Maybe some of you only know how to use it
but does not think where it come from..actually, like google the Internet
search company founded in September 1998. by Larry Page & Sergey Brin, got
it's name from the word Googol, which represents number 1 followed with

hundred zeros after it. But yahoo the complex internet organism has
complicated name. Word "Yahoo" is shortcut for "Yet Another Hierarchical
Officious Oracle". It was coined by PhD candidates at Stanford University: David
Filo and Jerry Yang.
