assalamualaikum..
since Ramadhan had begin,i would like to share an article about sahur wit all of u..

WHAT CONSTITUTES SAHUR?

Sahur can be achieved by a large meal, a small meal, or even by a sip of water or soup. In a report by Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (raa) the Messenger of Allah (saas) said, "Sahuur is a blessed meal, do not neglect it even if it is a mouthful of drink. For Allah and the Angels bless those who observe it." (Ahmed)
You see, what reaches Allah is the intent that you have made a genuine effort to obey Allah in fasting. This is why it is recommended to make intention with the sahuur, to emulate the Prophet, and to eat the food to gain strength and energy during fasting, so as to get the reward from Allah. The hadith also contains the information that during the course of this meal the faster receives a special blessing that cannot be found elsewhere: that Allah (SWT) blesses your meal and that the angels seek on your behalf forgiveness for you during sahuur. Thus, with sahuur you receive both physical and spiritual blessings.

THE WISDOM BEHIND FASTING

There are reasons and wisdom behind every single act in in Islam, no matter how small it is. In time we may know the wisdom for behind some acts, and for others we may never know. Solat for instance, is a daily training for purifying the believer and reminding him that he is a member in a community of believers. Fasting, on the other hand, is an annual institution containing all conceivable attributes for human excellence. It is a training for the body and soul, a renewal of life, encouraging the spirit of sharing and giving. The following are some of the general benefits:

~Self-Restraint (Taqwa)
Fasting instills taqwa , fear of Allah, and does so by controlling two aspects of the human body, which are the root causes of human downfall, namely the stomach and the private parts. The human body is constructed with the need to please the two of them and, in the process, man transgresses the rights of others, fellow human beings, and the commandments of Allah are violated. Fasting is equivalent to life, because with the level of taqwa being raised, the person avoids the sins which are detrimental to life itself.

~Health Care
A great deal of ailments originate from stomach indigestion. This is why the Messenger of Allah says: "The son of Adam will never fill a container with something worse and evil than his stomach. It will suffice him some morsels (food) that will keep him on his feet, otherwise, he should divide his stomach into three parts: one third for his food, the other for his drink and the other third for his breath." (Ibn Hibban)
This hadith indicates that the stomach is the origin of harmful bacteria. Even in the age of sophisticated machines, you can hardly find a machine so fragile but yet so remarkably durable and efficient like the stomach. This is the machine that receives food particles, processes and refines them, and distributes the products to different parts of the body. This is a lifelong operation. For the non-faster, the stomach will have no chance for rest. When the stomach is empty, as a result of fasting, it gets well-desired rest, to renew and rejuvenate its energy. With the fasting, the stomach is forced to go through a discharge whereby harmful residue are eliminated through perspiration as the body searches for food during fast.
During fast, the system of secretion is organized, and this in turn benefits the blood pressure, inhibiting hardening of the arteries. The heart and kidney functions are enhanced as the work load tapers off. The fast helps to correct the problem of obesity and diabetes. Doctors over the years have used fasting as a prescription for certain ailments.

There's many other benefit dat we can get from fasting..
Such as..
~behaviour modification
~patience
~better social outlook
~strengthens family ties

hi guys..
i know quitting smoking is a difficult task, but you shouldn’t be discouraged by setbacks. Many people attempt to quit several times before they are successful. Consider it a learning process.so,as i concerned about those who are smoke..here i shared some ways on how you can quit smoking...

1)Understanding Your Motivation
When you want to change your behavior, the first step is to clearly define your goal. Do you want to quit smoking to set a good example for your child? Do you think you are spending too much money on cigarettes? Are you worried about your health?

Understanding why you want to quit smoking will help you discover strategies that work for your unique situation. For example, if you’re motivated by the financial costs of smoking, you may find it helpful to deposit the money you normally spend on cigarettes into a special savings account. If you’ve unsuccessfully tried to quit smoking in the past, you can also think about what obstacles you’ve faced and how you can learn from your experience.

2)Creating a Plan of Action
After you’ve considered your reasons for wanting to quit smoking, it’s time to develop a plan of action. Set a quit date and circle it on your calendar. Get rid of cigarettes and ashtrays in your home, car, and office. Notify supportive friends and family of your plans.

3)Developing Coping Mechanisms
Developing coping mechanisms to deal with the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal can help you successfully quit smoking. Here are some ideas from former smokers:

Reduce your stress level by exercising, reading a book, or relaxing in a hot bath.
When you feel the urge to smoke, go for a walk or distract yourself with an engaging task.
For many people, smoking is a part of their daily routine. To reduce the temptation to smoke, make small changes in your regular activities. For example, take a different route to work if you usually smoke during your morning commute.

hope you can try....
STAY HEALHTY WITHOUT SMOKE...=]

hi people
struggle doing your assignment?
keep thinking what you gonna do for your coming exhibition?

here some useful tips on SMART TASKING,,i guess

1)arrange task according to ENVIRONMENT -same environment tasks should be grouped together and scheduled to be completed one after another.Example: things like writing letters, memos and emails should be grouped together.Because they all involve writing, your mind will be more prepared to move from task to task as you go down your list

2)arrange task according to TOOL -if you have five tasks that involves using computer(say, writing follow-up emails, preparing a presentation and updating the website).they should be arranged in sequence.Similarly, group all phone calls together-follow-ups,cold calls, appointment and inquiries.

3)arrange task according to LOCATION - to prevent walking back and forth between departments or buildings, schedule task that can be completed in the same place together.

4)arrange task according to SKILL - group all task that require your sale skills together, that tasks that require your administrative skill, then task that require your creative skills.Your mind will appreciate not having to perform so many gymnastic switches between skill as you completeyour task list.

hi guys...
I want to share a story that I have read before. This story is about a man who is not close to his father. His father don't like talk.his father is busy with his business.

One day, when his father took his family to have a dinner at the restaurant, a miracle happen. His father was talking so much about football when he watched football match in television.
The man realize that his father is a talkative when talking about football. That night, he know that his father love football very much. So, the man and his father watched football match every midnight. They become close until his mother can't say nothing when them watching football match until morning.

This is a true story written by the girl. This story just same like my situation.

I agree! I totally hate the smell of cigarette smoke; and with good reason too because cigarette smoke can still kill even if you yourself don't smoke; all because you are married to a smoker or work in place where people smoke freely. I can't remember names or places, or dates but I remember reading about a barber who he himself didn't smoke but died from second hand smoke of his customers. Another article told of a woman whose husband died because of her smoking habit.
Here's some information on all the different types of cancer you can get from smoking. I'm sure the risk is even higher if you have a family history of cancer.
So, smokers and wannabe smokers, think again before you smoke, you are not only jeopardizing your own health but others as well. Look around you before smoking. Are there children or pregnant mothers or even elderly people with heart problems? Smoking around them will shorten their lives. They have YOU to thank for that.

haha...to those who are still x 'insaf'...here i give u the effects of smoking...

As a matter of fact, we all know about the ill-effects of cigarette smoke and tobacco use but a smoker really is helpless in front of this menacing addiction. When he has to, he 'will' smoke; the underlying psychology is ‘A fag allows a man’. The ‘Will’ is associated with the short term effects. Let us see the quick-effects of a cigarette smoke that makes a man physically and mentally dependent on it. These immediate effects encourage a smoker to take a fag;

NERVES SYSTEMS AND BRAIN ACTIVITIESare quickened for few minutes by the stimulation caused by smoke.

One cigarette quickly increases blood pressure and heart beat rate. At the same time blood flow to the body’s end points is reduced giving numbness to the areas like fingers and toes.
Hunger, taste and olfactory senses are weakened.

DIZZINESS is also experienced in many cases.
While the smokers enjoy the short term effects, what about the long-term affects which, most of the time, are irreversible? Smoke actually increases the risk of suffering from life-threatening diseases even if a person quits in the later years of his life. Of course, quitting would at least help to diminish the evil effects of tobacco.

Smoking has a PERMANENT EFFECTS on the following parts of a human body even if you have smoked for only five years;

Lungs,
Heart,
Eyes,
Throat,
Urinary tract,
Sex organs,
Women's fertility zone,
Men's sperm production,
Digestive organs,
Bones and joints,
Skin

so...still do not want to quit smoke????
think again...lalalaal..=]

1st of all,i'm not a smoker.
huhu....i'm quite proud to be non-smoker...
well...recently i read a book consist about stress.well,i'm quite stress recently and i need help.so i read a book and thanks God it working a bit,
so i'd like to share with all of you about it and i hope u also will able to manage your own stress as me.

* Eat well-balanced meals; exercise.

* Stick to established routines; they help support day-to day life. Keep life simple.

* Set realistic expectations

* Spend some time with nature each day. Pets help, too

* Be gentle with yourself. You deserve it.

* Do whatever nurtures you, soothes you or brings you comfort. Do “soft”: wear soft clothing, eat soft food and listen to soft music.

* Fight against isolation; connect with people. Isolation distorts perception. Connection grounds the mind and feeds the soul.

* Indulge your senses; get out of your head and into your body. Stop the chatter, calm anxiety and shake loose your depression with gentle exercise, dance or other movement, beautiful images and fragrances.

* Try creative expression to self-nurture and release feelings; or just play.

* Use your imagination to take you to a safe quiet place.

* Make a gratitude list for your life.

* Accept your anger. Find a safe way to release it.

* Suspend “what-ifs” and judgments about the future until you are well again.

* Resist self-criticism, perfectionism and the “tyranny of the shoulds”.

Practice these tips when you are well. Add to your Kit as you discover new tips or ideas. You can then take action, if depression comes, to act on your own behalf, a key to recovery and full enjoyment of life again.

i'm sorry to write it as simple as i can,but i hope that u might able to understand what i want to tell all of you.

but,the most important things that must come 1st is we must remember our God,and for muslim,we must always asking Allah.S.W.T help.

only god would able to solve our problem exen we didnt erealise it at all.

Now is ramadhan and is good for us to be more close to Allah S.W.T,
dont leave tarawikh and tried to fasting a month for male muslim and never skip it even u are really huungry.once we miss,we could not repeat it again ever after.

this advice just not for u guys, but also for myself who maybe more worst than u.

Hi guys..=]

Erm....we know that breathing is very important - that sounds rather obvious, but it is surprising how few of us actually do breath 'properly'.

Breathing is something we all take for granted and are inclined to forget about. However, shallow breathing can often be a symptom of stress. Similarly, shallow breathing can result in fatigue and stress due to the intake of insufficient oxygen.

Shallow breathing can also result in dizzy turns as insufficient oxygen is getting to the brain. Since approximately 90% of our energy is created by oxygen and nearly all the body's actions regulated by it - it is rather important that we get enough of it!!

Go somewhere quiet and lie down or sit in a chair with good back support so that your body is straight, allowing you to breath deeply and comfortably. Make sure you are not wearing any tight clothing. Tell yourself to relax. Work on every part of your body from the top of your head to your toes, consciously relaxing each part. Concentrate on your breathing, taking deep in-breaths, through the nose, letting the breath fill your body, relaxing and calming. Then breath out through your mouth , exhaling all negativity and stress and ridding your body of the toxins which build up there.

Repeat this a number of times - if you can only manage 10 minutes that would help a lot. Eventually you will be able to practice this anywhere, any time, when you are feeling stressed. Try not to hunch your shoulders as you breath in - try to consciously relax the shoulders and neck and breath from the abdomen - watch your tummy expand as you breath in. There are a number of breathing techniques which are taught by practitioners of different disciplines, either on a one to one basis or in a group, such as a workshop perhaps. If you have a particular medical problem, then a good place to start is with your doctor, who will be able to advise you.

It's true! Breathing the right way is very important as it's vital for our health to get all the oxigen we need. If you are breathing wrongly, less oxigen will enter our system and we risk getting all the major diseases known to man.
Just observe a baby breathing, how many babies breathe in and out with their tummies sucked in? Hahahaha
Thanks Wirda for the breathing tips.

By the way, no downloading software. It's a licensed thing. Glad you enjoy the TELL ME MORE activities though. :)

it seem that we only have a few days to fasting..
but, even it only leave a half of Ramadhan, we still have to take a sahur to give us energy for that day..
like zetty had wrote before this,"In a report by Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (raa) the Messenger of Allah (saas) said, "Sahuur is a blessed meal, do not neglect it even if it is a mouthful of drink. For Allah and the Angels bless those who observe it." (Ahmed).
so,dun lazy2 to take a sahur ya!!!
if u did not take it, it means dat u so lazy to wake up early in the morning..=b
after fasting, we can celebrate Hari Raya..=>
but, we cannot very enjoy because after we come back to ump, we have "war" with our test 2..

.brain fixes.

#1:more is better than 1

(get together with a group of friends and throw out as many ideas as you can,jot down and keep track.speak your mind and you get more ideas in less time)

#2:peace out

envelope yourself in peaceful environment to able to focus.SWITCH OFF YOUR HANDPHONE.

#3:short pencil better than a long memory

great ideas don't come twice.keep small pocket-sized notepad and pencil in your purse because you never know when the fabulous idea might hit you

#4:step away from the table

sitting at the table too long may cause your brain to 'hang' and may cause backaches.staring too long at the monitor will strain your eyes.

strain+pain=dead brain!

#6:zzzz

take a power nap(15-30minutes) to boost of energy.when you don't sleep enough ,your mind is unable to create new ideas.but too much sleep can make you lethargic.

JUST ME

From the time I was little, I knew I was great
'cause the people would tell me,"You'll make it-just wait.
But they never did tell me how great I would be
if I ever played someone who was greater than me.

When I'm in the back yard, I'm king with the ball.
To swish all those baskets is no sweat at all.
But all sudden there's a man in my face
who doesn't seem to realize that I'm king in this place.

So the pressure gets to me; I rush with the ball.
My passes to teammates could go through the wall.
My jumpers not falling, my dribbles not sure.
My hand is not steady, my eye is not pure.

The fault is my teammates-they don't understand.
The fault is my coaches-what a terrible plan.
The fault is the call by blind referee.
But the fault is not mine; I'm the greatest, you see.

Then finally it hit me when I started to see
that the face in the mirror looked exactly like me.
It wasn't my teammates who are were dropping the ball,
and it wasn't my coach shooting bricks at the wall.

That face in the mirror that was always so great
had some room for improvement instead of just hate.
So I stopped blaming others and started to grow.
My play got much better and started to show.

And all of my teammates didn't seem quite so bad.
I learned to depend on the good friends I had.
Now I like myself better since I started to see
that I was lousy being great-I'm much better being me.

this poem was written by Tom Krause from New York BestSeller, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul which have 101 stories of life, love and learning.

about the poem, i can conclude that,in life, we are not the perfect or greater human..
even we think we are the great...
but, the point is...we must be ourself...

this kind of book is good for those who want to improve english like me...
this is because, it easy to understand the stories and more important, the font of that book is large..hehehe...

ok,bye then.

The article are from somewhere in thestar.com.my and the harakahdaily.net, its the highlight.

A little bit about the Permatang Pauh by-election

The center of attention once again centered in Permatang Pauh where the government part and the other opposition party against with our former deputy prime minister.

The by-election is not just like any other by-election in our country. It’s probably the start of reformation in our nation. This is because it’s probably the starting point of our charmed leader of that could abolish the injustice in our nation.

The highlight start with the couple of reporter got beaten, from unlikely sources stated that they been attacked by a group of people from the some party, but the party denied those allegation, that they had been foul-play. Nevertheless, it has not stopped the level of confident to the party.

But even more interesting, the oil price had been reduced and the public holiday had been announce in that state, because the by-election is due to working day for some particular reason.

Conclusion, even though there’s occurring of this foul-play, but still the people had strong confident to the representative.

NEW DELHI: India was set to launch its first lunar mission Wednesday, putting the country in an elite group of nations with the scientific know-how to reach the moon while heating up a burgeoning Asian space race.

The Chandrayaan-1 will join Japanese and Chinese crafts in orbit around the moon for a two-year mission designed to map out the whole lunar surface. Chandrayaan means “Moon Craft’’ in Sanskrit.

As India’s economy has boomed in recent years it has sought to convert its new found wealth -- built on its high-tech sector -- into political and military clout and stake a claim as a world leader.

It is hoping that a moon mission -- coming just months after it finalised a deal with the United States that recognises India as a nuclear power -- will further enhance that status.

“It is a remarkable technological achievement for the country,’’ said S. Satish, a spokesman for the Indian Space Research Organisation, which plans to launch the 1,400kg satellite from the Sriharikota space centre in southern India at 0050 GMT (8.50am) Wednesday.

To date only the United States, Russia, the European Space Agency, Japan and China have sent missions to the moon.

In the last year Asian nations have taken the lead in exploring the moon. In October 2007, Japan sent up the Kaguya spacecraft. A month later China’s Chang’e-1 entered lunar orbit.

China, in particular, has been forging ahead in space. Beijing sent shockwaves through the region in 2003 when it became the first Asian country to put its own astronauts into space. It followed that last month with its first spacewalk.

More ominously, last year China also blasted an old satellite into oblivion with a land-based anti-satellite missile, the first such test ever conducted by any nation, including the United States and Russia.

While this is India’s first space expedition beyond Earth’s orbit, the head of India’s space agency believes it can quickly catch China, its rival for Asian leadership.

“Compared to China, we are better off in many areas,’’ Indian Space Research Organisation chairman G. Madhavan Nair said in an interview with India’s Outlook magazine this week, citing India’s advanced communication satellites and launch abilities.

India lags behind only because it has chosen not to focus on the more expensive manned space missions, he said. “But given the funds and necessary approvals we can easily catch up with our neighbor in this area.”

The mission is not all about rivalry and prestige. Analysts say India stands to reap valuable rewards from the technology it develops.

”Each nation is doing its own thing to drive its research technology for the well-being of that nation,’’ said Charles Vick, a space analyst for the Washington think tank GlobalSecurity.org.

“Traditionally, for every dollar put into space research, we get that much more back,’’ he said.

India is also collaborating closely with other countries on the mission.

Of the 11 instruments carried by the satellite, five are Indian, three are from the European Space Agency, two from the United States and one from Bulgaria.

Among the goals of the US$80mil mission are mapping the moon, scanning for mineral deposits under the surface and testing systems for a future moon landing, according to the Indian space agency.

NASA is sending up a Mini Synthetic Aperture Radar that can search for ice -- an important resource for any human settlements -- under the lunar poles.

India plans to follow up this mission with landing a rover on the moon in 2011 and eventually a manned space programme, though this has not been authorised yet.

Vick, the space analyst, said an Indian landing was inevitable.

“Where the unmanned goes, man will ultimately follow,’’ he said. The United States is the only nation to have landed a man on the moon.

And the Indian space agency was already dreaming of more.

Actually, I quite worry about my health since I studied here…this is because I lake of exercise …
Before that I have quite tough body but now….
Here are some tips which I take it from reader digest title “BUILD THOSE MUSCULES” to build healthy muscles:
-Increase calcium intake
A high calcium-rich diet during childhood and adolescence will protect bones for life. A good intake will reduce the effects of bone loss.
-Try strength-training exercises
Build strong bone and can easily done at home
-Avoid fizzy drinks
Colas contain phosphoric acid that can take calcium out of the body.
-Take a walk in the park
Walking is a great low-impact exercise.
-Build up vitamin levels
Vital for calcium absorption body can get enough vitamin D to last a year simply by enjoying 15 to 20 minutes of sunlight a day.
-Watch alcohol intake
Drinking alcohol to excess not only damages the cells that make new bone but also interferes with calcium absorption.
-Visit a chiropractor
persistent shoulder stiffness or back problems may be due to misaligned vertebrate. Chiropractor maybe able to help realign spine.
-Give up smoking
Osteoporosis research has found that smoking lends to greater bone loss and increase the risk of fractures.

The “greenhouse effect” often gets a bad rap because of its association with global warming, but this is first time i read that greenhouse effect is not a serious problem..
really??

Not All Scientists Agree
While the majority of mainstream scientists agree that global warming is a serious problem that is growing steadily worse, there are some who disagree. John Christy, a professor and director of the Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama in Huntsville is a respected climatologist who argues that global warming isn’t worth worrying about.

Christy reached that opinion after analyzing millions of measurements from weather satellites in an effort to find a global temperature trend. He found no sign of global warming in the satellite data, and now believes that predictions of global warming by as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the 21st century are incorrect.

so..what do you say??

I had have learnt some poems, but this poem had some moral values that we should own it...and i do like this poem also...
Title: The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

By Robert Frost (1874–1963). Mountain Interval. 1920

So, you should try to rea on it.

did u guys knoW about cocainE??
here ifound somE articlE that may hElp u guys found out what it is....and how it's dangErous to us..as if wE addictEd to it..

Q) What is Cocaine?

A) Cocaine, the most potent stimulant of natural origin, is extracted from the leaves of the coca plant (Erythroxylon coca), which is indigenous to the Andean highlands of South America. It is a potent brain stimulant and one of the most powerfully addictive drugs. Cocaine is produced as a white chunky powder. It is sold most often in aluminium foil, plastic or paper packets, or small vials. Cocaine is usually chopped into a fine powder with a razor blade on a small mirror or some other hard surface, arranged into small rows called "lines," then quickly inhaled (or "snorted") through the nose with a short straw or rolled up paper money. It can also be injected into the blood stream.

Q) How much does Cocaine cost?
A) Cocaine prices depend upon the purity of the product. In 2001, cocaine purity declined by 8 percent, from 86 percent pure in 1998 to a 78 percent pure in 2001. The decrease in purity indicates a decrease in the supply of cocaine in the United States. Cocaine remained low and stable, which suggests a steady supply to the United States. Nationwide, prices ranged from $12,000 to $35,000 per kilogram.

Q) What are the symptoms of Cocaine use?
A) The symptoms of Cocaine use include but are not limited to:

~anxiety
~panic
~bloody nose
~increased energy
~talking rapidly
~rapid pulse and respiration
~paranoia
~confusion
~dilated pupils
~hallucinations
~altered motor activities (tremors, hyperactivity)
~stuffiness

buT....havE they nOticE thE consequEnscE to thEir brain as if thEy addicted to this typE of drug??

The researchers conducted a series of experiments to examine how drugs of abuse and experience might interact to produce changes in brain structure. To accomplish this, they administered amphetamine, cocaine, or saline repeatedly for 20 days to individually housed rats. This pattern of drug administration was previously shown by these investigators to produce both behavioural changes in response to the drugs and structural changes in several brain regions. However, in the current study, the researchers went one step further. After the 20-day drug exposure, the rats were housed in a new environment for 3 to 3.5 months. Half of the drug- and saline-injected animals were placed in standard laboratory cages; the other animals in each group were housed in a complex environment. The environment contained a variety of stimuli: multiple levels with ramps, bridges, a climbing chain, tunnels, and toys that were rearranged once a week to encourage continued exploration of the environment. At the end of 3 or 3.5 months, the rats’ brains were analyzed for changes in dendritic branching and spine density. Specifically, the researchers examined the spiny neurons in the nucleus accumbens and the pyramidal cells in the parietal cortex. These areas were shown in previous studies to be altered by experience and/or drugs of abuse. The nucleus accumbens is involved in motivation and reward, and the parietal cortex is important for sensory-motor function.

Remarkably, animals that had been given amphetamine and then placed in the complex environment did not show the same environmental-induced structural changes in the nucleus accumbens and parietal cortex as did saline-treated animals in the complex environment. The results for those animals treated with cocaine were similar, in that prior treatment with cocaine blocked the environment-induced changes in the medium spiny neurons of the nucleus accumbens (the only region examined).

Ship pollution is happen when the air or water polluted and it caused by ship..Ship is important transport that we used to sent some product to oversea. As the number of ships increase every year, the pollution that caused by ships is more serious and serious.this problem is very dangerous nowadays..Ships can pollute the waterways and oceans in many ways. For instance, spills from oil tankers and chemical tankers, and ejection of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide gases into the atmosphere from exhaust fumes. Discharge of cargo residues from bulk carriers can pollute ports, waterways and oceans. Ships create noise pollution that disturbs natural wildlife, and water from ballast tanks can spread harmful algae and other invasive species. In many instances vessels due to a variety of reasons intentionally discharge illegal wastes despite foreign and domestic regulation prohibiting such actions.Exhaust emissions from ships are considered to be a significant source of air pollution. In Europe ships make up a large percentage of the sulfur introduced to the air..

What is fission product?Fission is splitting the nucleus into two smaller nuclei.Fission products are the atomic fragments left after a large nucleus fissions along with a few neutrons and a large release of energy in the form of heat that is kinetic energy of the nuclei, gamma rays and neutrinos. The two smaller nuclei are the "fission products".The sum of the atomic weight of the two atoms produced by the fission of one atom is always less than the atomic weight of the original atom as some of the mass is lost as free neutrons and large amounts of energy. Each fission of a parent atom produces a different set of fission product atoms. However, while an individual fission is not predictable, the fission products are statistically predictable. The particular isotope that produced is called yield.Normally the higher the energy of the state that undergoes nuclear fission, the more likely that the two fission products have similar mass. Hence, as the neutron energy increases or the energy of the fissile atom increases, the valley between the two peaks becomes more shallow.

Uranium is a naturally occurring element found in low levels within all rock, soil, and water. This is the highest-numbered element to be found naturally in significant quantities on earth.there are many sources of uranium such as air crashes and combustion.Uranium metal, as depleted uranium, has been used in aircraft for trim weights in the past (although the practice has been discontinued), so after an air crash a release of uranium or its combustion products is possible.Studies of depleted uranium aerosol exposure suggest that uranium combustion product particles would quickly settle out of the air and thus could not affect populations more than a few kilometers from target areas..We can get uranium from the incident of corrosion..It is reported that corrosion of uranium in a silica rich aqueous solution can produce uranium dioxide and uranium trioxide.During the extraction of uranium ore and its processing, some releases of uranium occur. The releases of radium and other decay products of uranium are normally more important than the uranium in tailings ponds at the mines and ore processing centers. It is believed that uranium can bring harmful to human. The organ in our body which affected most by uranium is kidney.

What is water pollution?Water pollution is related to the contamination of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater that caused by human activities, which can be harmful to organisms and plants which live in these water bodies.Although natural disaster such as volcanoes, algae blooms, storms, and earthquakes also cause major changes in water quality and the ecological status of water, water pollution is refer when it impaired by anthropogenic contaminants and either does not support a human use like serving as drinking water or undergoes a marked shift in its ability to support its constituent biotic communities.Water pollution has many causes.Water pollution are caused by discharges from a wastewater treatment plant, outfalls from a factory, leaking underground tanks, and others.Nutrient runoff in storm water from sheet flow over an agricultural field, or metals and hydrocarbons from an area with high impervious surfaces and vehicular traffic are examples of causes of source pollution.Contaminants may include bacteria, food processing, detergents, acidity, heavy metal and others..

Recycling involves processing used materials into new products..The purposes of recycling is to prevent the waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air (from incineration) and water (from landfilling) pollution by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to virgin production.Recycling is a key component of modern waste management..Recycle also can describe as reuse.A number of different systems have been implemented to collect recyclates from the general waste stream. These systems tend to lie along the spectrum of trade-off between public convenience and government ease and expense. The three main categories of collection are "drop-off centres", "buy-back centres" and "curbside collection".Curbside collection encompasses many subtly different systems, which differ mostly on where in the process the recyclates are sorted and cleaned. The main categories are mixed waste collection, commingled recyclables and source separation. Many different materials can be recycled but each type requires a different technique such as batteries, clothing, metal, paper, glass and others..

Ozone depletion mean two distinct but related observations.First is a slow, steady decline of about 4 percent per decade in the total amount of ozone in Earth's stratosphere since the late 1970s and a much larger but seasonal, decrease in stratospheric ozone over Earth's polar regions during the same period. The latter phenomenon is commonly called as the ozone hole. there are also tropospheric ozone depletion events, which occur near the surface in polar regions during spring. The detailed mechanism by which the polar ozone holes form is different from that for the mid-latitude thinning, but the most important process in both trends is catalytic destruction of ozone by atomic chlorine and bromine. The main source of these halogen atoms in the stratosphere is photodissociation of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) compounds, commonly called freons, and of bromofluorocarbon compounds known as halons. These compounds are transported into the stratosphere after being emitted at the surface. Both ozone depletion mechanisms strengthened as emissions of CFCs and halons increased. The amount of ozone in the stratosphere is determined by a balance between photochemical production and recombination.Ozone can be destroyed by a number of free radical catalysts.

What is mean by herbicide?Herbicide can be defined as a thing that used to kill unwanted plants.Normally unwanted plant is mean the plant that can bring harmful to us.We only leave unharmed plant in that place. Some of these act by interfering with the growth of the weed and are often based on plant hormones. Herbicides used to clear waste ground are nonselective and kill all plant material with which they come into contact. Some plants produce natural herbicides, such as the genus Juglans. They are applied in total vegetation control programs for maintenance of highways and railroads. Smaller quantities are used in forestry, pasture systems, and management of areas set aside as wildlife habitat.Herbicides are widely used in agriculture and in landscape turf management. The herbicides is widely used in US and it is around 70%.Certain herbicides affect metabolic pathways and systems unique to plants and not found in animals making many modern herbicides among the safest crop protection products having essentially no effect on mammals, birds, amphibians or reptiles. Some herbicides cause a of health effects ranging from skin rashes to death. The pathway of attack can arise from intentional or unintentional direct consumption, improper application resulting in the herbicide coming into direct contact with people or wildlife, inhalation of aerial sprays, or food consumption prior to the labeled pre-harvest interval.

celebration day of fasting.
Fasting is a event that every Muslim have to do every year.It normally happen around before Hari Raya.Usually on the eve of the celebrations, family members, especially mothers and housewives, will be busy preparing food, cakes, sweets, biscuits and various delicacies to be served on the day of Hari Raya. Delicacies such as ketupat or rice cake and a meat cuisine called rendang are among the most famous cuisines that are served during this day. Other family members will help in other chores such as decorating and cleaning up the house.

Days before Hari Raya, house compounds, particularly those in the countryside will be lit up with oil lamps known as pelita or panjut. This display of oil lamps will reach its height on the 27th night of Ramadan, called the Tujuh Likur night. 'Likur' literally meaning a figure between 20 and 30, hence 'tujuh likur' means twenty seven. Originally during the early days of the arrival of Islam among the Malays, the purpose of lighting the oil lamps was to attract spirit of passed relatives and angels to descend to people's homes during the night of Lailatulqadar. However after ages has passed, such misconception is regarded counterfactual as much understanding of Islam were obtained. Nowadays the oil lamps are lit solely for decorative purposes.

It is customary for Malays to wear traditional Malay costumes. The dress for men is called baju Melayu while the women's are known as baju kurung and baju kebaya. Traditional textiles such as songket and batik are worn favourably during this day.

Muslims will attend Eid prayer in the morning and consecrate together harmoniously while taking the chance to meet and greet each other. Once the prayer is done, it is also common for Muslims in Malaysia to visit the grave of their loved ones. During this visit, they will clean the grave, perform the recital of the Yasin — a chapter (surah) from the Qur'an and also the tahlil or prayers for the deceased. All these are done in hope that their loved ones are blessed by God and they are spared from the punishment in the grave.

The rest of the day is spent visiting relatives or serving visitors. Hari Raya is a very joyous day for children for this is the day where adults are extra generous. Children will be given token sums of money, also known as duit raya from their parents and elders.

During the night, there are often celebrations with sparklers and firecrackers, albeit restrictions on playing firecrackers enforced by the authorities. Most firecracker stocks are purchased and smuggled illegally from black markets. Safety issues, especially among children are raised and alarming cases relating to injuries caused by playing firecrackers are often reported, which initially led to the banning of playing firecrackers. Despite of the enforcement of banning firecrackers, more Malay children turn to home-made firecrackers such as meriam buluh (bamboo cannon) as alternatives to commercial fireworks. Usually the lighting of firecrackers begins a few days before the end of Ramadan, and continues for about a week afterwards.

have read about peguins...
wana share with me...
lets me tell u sumthing about peguins...
Peguins is the largest living species is the Emperor Penguin adults average about 1.1 m (3 ft 7 in) tall and weigh 35 kg (75 lb) or more. The smallest penguin species is the Little Blue Penguin (also known as the Fairy Penguin), which stands around 40 cm tall (16 in) and weighs 1 kg (2.2 lb). Among extant penguins larger penguins inhabit colder regions, while smaller penguins are generally found in temperate or even tropical climates (see also Bergmann's Rule). Some prehistoric species attained enormous sizes, becoming as tall or as heavy as an adult human (see below for more). These were not restricted to Antarctic regions; on the contrary, subantarctic regions harboured high diversity, and at least one giant penguin occurred in a region not quite 2,000 km south of the Equator 35 mya, in a climate decidedly warmer than today
