as what i have mentioned, today is my 4th day journey inth Purpose Driven life. It talks about eternity. As a Christian we belief that there are only two place to go after death-heaven or hell. What is so interesting about this chapter is it tells us that living on earth is just like a preschool for us before heading to eternity!!!oh no...what a long long lesson...earth is a TENT for us and our house will be in heaven.death is just the starting point of our life and will be our birthday in heaven!!!It gives me hope and will not fear death anymore...

I read about our politic today in the local paper. From the article, I was realized that there are so many problem occurred among our leader, such as bribe or corruption. So many ways had been tried by the government to solve this problem as the problem haunting us everyday and to be honest, our country's future are seem s to be worst if the leader today still keep continue those bad attitude. I hope someday there will be a efficient way to overcome this problem.

Hi everyone... How are you?
Today I want to talk about this phrase 'money is everything'. Do you agree? Some people said money is not everything. Why? Because money cannot buy everything. For me, i agree that money is everything. It does not mean i'm materealistic but just to be realistic. Everything needs the money. So??? Money is everything, right?

Recently, I read some articles about Global Warming. This phenomenon seem to be getting more serious. I am sad to say that, human themselves are the main cause for this problem. Human activities such as logging, deforestating, and a lot more have contribute to global warming. Now the researches in Artic shows that the five ice shelves along Ellesmere Island in the Far North, which are more that 4,000 years old, had shrunk by 23% this summer alone, just a short while. This indicate that our world is heading to "doomday". So let us all together play our roles to save our beloved planet Earth for the sake of our future generation.

Greetings ^^. First of all, I would like to wish everyone a happy mid-autumn, as the mooncake festival is just around the corner. Driven by the mood of this festival, i have read up about the background stories and origin. To my surprise, there are actually at least 6 variations of the story, all of which revolve around Houyi(后羿), the Archer; Chang'e(嫦娥), the mythical Moon Goddess of Immortality; an emperor, either benevolent or malevolent; an elixir of life; the jade rabbit and the Moon. As for my favourite part of this festival, you know, mooncake >.<, was once employed for military purposes. China was imperialsed by mongolians during the Yuan dynasty, the natives had difficulties planning for a rebel as group gatherings were banned. An amazing strategist, Liu Bowen(刘伯温), making use of the fact that mongolians did not eat mooncakes, gave advice to the rebel leader Zhu Yuanzhang(朱元璋), to coincide the date of rebellion wit. He sought permission to distribute thousands of moon cakes to the Chinese residents in the city to bless the longevity of the Mongol emperorh the mid-autumn festival, inside each cake, however, was inserted a piece of paper with the message 'kill the Mongols on the 15th day of the 8th Moon'. Just as planned, the rebels successfully attacked and overthrew the government, which lead to the establishment of the Ming dynasty. Since then, the mid-autumn festival was celebrated with moon cakes on a national level. Here is the link for your viewing pleasure.

Give a man a fish and you can feed him a day;Teach him how to fish and you can feed him for a lifetime.
This was the story i read this month. The story is about a man who like to go jungle trekking. One day,he trapped alone in a jungle and fell down when trying to find road out.He lost his consciousness. When he woke up,he was in the native village. He felt very hungry but didn't know what to do.A native come and give him some food to eat.In another day,the man felt hungry but still blurred what to do.A native this time came with a pole and teached him how to catch fish with that pole. After a month the man stay in the village, the man searched food to eat all by himself and the help of the natives and also help the natives to catch too.The man recovered and he felt very thankful to the natives to teach him survive all on his feet and not just parasite on the other. After that,he go jungle trekking and know how to protect himself and find things to eat without have to worry when food that he brought was finished. He very pround for himself and grateful to the natives.
This story tells us that when you give everything to one person he just know to use it and finish it then he wants more.Instead,if you teach him how to do it,he will know the method and next time he will solve it all by his own. This is the precise way to teach as people tend to be lazy if you feed him everything and he will work hard if he is desperate but know how to do it

Last two week, my Technical English lecturer wanted us to read a article about the journey of Dr. Sheikh to ISS.On 8 November 2007, he started to left to the Moon. In the article, there were hundreds of people everywhere wishing him and other astronauts goodbyes. After they are trained for long time, they finally wanted to go into the space Yuri Gagarin. They have to go through a few of traditions such as they were kicked over the butt before they climb the steps into space ship. He felt so proud that he had this chance to travel to the Moon. Before they launched the space ship, they acted so professional to check the whole equipment and system in the space ship. He felt so interesting and exciting when the space ship was launched into the orbit at 200km from earth. They had to fast and in a difficult position in those many days in the orbit. After i read this article, i felt so jealous and impress of them. No everyone has a chance to travel to the Moon under whole Malaysians' hope. The feeling must be unexpectable and unexplainable. I hope i will have the chance to be an important and famous person in this country. Besides, they had to attempt so many problem to complete the mission given by government. The problems and risks are fasting, system may be down or the equipments are not enough. This shows they so tough and professional to ready to face all possible problems. Fortunately, they came back safely and completely the mission perfectly. In conclusion, i think i get some values from this article. It is really a good article.

Politic, politic, politic... I think this is the hot issues now. That is what I had read in newspaper. Actually, i didn't read it but just look it. I'm not interested about politic. I don't like what happen now. Everyone fight for the power. I think this situation is not good for our country. It can destroy our country, our nation and etc... It better for them to sit together and think how to develope our country than they fight each other.I hope we can live peacefully.

well this week i read a moving story so i would like to share it with you.

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.
The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old.
The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll.'
Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: Granny,
are you sure I don't have enough money?
The old lady replied: You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.
Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.
The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.
Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.
'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.
She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.'
I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.
But he replied to me sadly. 'No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.'
His eyes were so sad while saying this. 'My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.
My heart nearly stopped.
The little boy looked up at me and said: 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.'
Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me.'
'I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.'
Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.
I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check
again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?
'OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.
The little boy said: 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!'
Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!
'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.
'My mommy loves white roses.'
A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.
I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started.
I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind.
Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.
The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical
state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.
Was this the family of the little boy?
Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.
I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body o f the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.
I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is
still, to this day, hard to imagine.
And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Asian Men Who Smoke May Have Increased Risk For Hair Loss

"Androgenetic alopecia, a hereditary androgen-dependent disorder, is characterized by progressive thinning of the scalp hair defined by various patterns," the authors write as background information in the article. "It is the most common type of hair loss in men." Although risk for the condition is largely genetic, some environmental factors also may play a role.
Lin-Hui Su, M.D., M.Sc., of the Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, and Tony Hsiu-Hsi Chen, D.D.S., Ph.D., of National Taiwan University, Taipei, surveyed 740 Taiwanese men age 40 to 91 (average age 65) in 2005.
At an in-person interview, the men reported information about smoking, other risk factors for hair loss and if they had alopecia, the age at which they began losing their hair. Clinical classifications were used to assess their degree of hair loss, their height and weight were measured and blood samples were provided for analysis.
The men's risk for hair loss increased with advancing age, but remained lower than the average risk among white men. "After controlling for age and family history, statistically significant positive associations were noted between moderate or severe androgenetic alopecia and smoking status, current cigarette smoking of 20 cigarettes or more per day and smoking intensity," the authors write.
This association could be caused by several mechanisms, they note. Smoking may destroy hair follicles, damage the papilla that circulate blood and hormones to stimulate hair growth or increase production of the hormone estrogen, which may counter the effects of androgen.
"Patients with early-onset androgenetic alopecia should receive advice early to prevent more advanced progression," the authors conclude.
