I'm sure it's has been more than once when you have wondered why life has decided to play sick jokes with you, make a fool of you. In pain, despair and anger. You were asking where you went wrong and why you deserve such a faith.
As somebody once said, everything happens for a reason. everything is connected to a greater scheme which we aren't aware of. All the bumps in road had their role, their importance. Life wasn't playing games with you, but it was trying to show you something, and sure even if you didn't see at first, you have contributed to yourself misery without even being aware of it sometimes.
Now finding the power to accept it with arms wide open and learn from it, keep chin up, fighting and pushing on, the way to deal with it. To not to let things die inside you, not make others pay for you own misery and pain you cannot accept nor heal. With each road bump a little part of you fades away.
The true loss in this life is not death, which most are afraid of and as Norman Cousin was saying:
"Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live".
Stop trying to change things that you can't, focus on the ones that CAN be changed.
