It's finally over. Gone are the headaches figuring out how to best present and compare contrast a product in a videoclip, how to insert sounds and convert files.
So, now that you are done, what do you think you have learnt? And when you look at your finished product, how do you you feel? In a few words describe yourself before and after the presentation.
Apart from that, I also would like to know if you think that what you learnt last semester help you this semester. If yes, in what aspects exactly and how much did of what you've learnt helped you this time? If no, why didn't they help you?

now and then presentation..
before the presentation its quite difficult to manage the movie maker by ourself.stay late at night to finish up the movie maker. always hoping to have a great movie that will be presented to the class and try to calm the nervous of a night before presentation so that can have a smooth presentation and people will understand what i'm trying to say and present and also to have an interesting presentation. but by the time i'm in the presentation the expactation was high make me feel nervous but after the presentation feel relieve but still hoping to have a great score then.hope and hoping.heheh...

about the presentation last week,i would like to say that i'm not satisfy with my presentation at all. this is because,you said before that our 10 first group didn't show the exactly compare and contrast in our video movie maker. BTW,i've try my very best in applying what i've learnt last semester in this semester UHL2322 subject..

That's my first presentation using media movie maker; blind IT...
I am satisfied with the product that I done with my partner. I felt my burdance had decrease since I had lot of works to settle down on the same time.
I and my partner stayed up till 4 am to finished up the presentation for our oral test which evaluated by Madam.
Before we do our presentation, we were quite nervous to give a talked in front of our class and need some perfections in our presentation.We had well prepared for our presentation.
After the presentation, I am hoping to get an appropriate marks for my hard work in our presentation.
From the previous semester in our Technical English, It gave some benefits to me and I am totally applied it in my presentation.
Repeating a lot of time to have the introduction and conclusion in my presentation. I followed your advices!*cheer*

Finally we had finished the window movie maker and powerpoint slide presentation. It was quit interested and I had learned more new things when doing this presentation. For example how to make the movie more interesting by using effect, song and so on.
But if we get another chance, I guess our group will do more better than now.And I hope that we also can do more better in the next presentation.
Actually I think I did not try what I had learned in last semester. Maybe I still feel very nervous when I'm prsenting our product.
But I will try my best to do it.

i could say that i had learnt so many new things. started with the movie maker software, embarassingly speaking.. that was my first time using it. before this, i have no idea how to use it, and dont even know that it is exist in my lappie :p
then it was all about the converting file things, because once i downloaded file from the youtube, i could not drag it into the movie mavie maker, turned out that we need to convert the format file first. ok, that was one hell of a hard work i must say. this is because i need to download a software that actually could convert a file. erm, other than that, it was a learning process for me of the presentation skills. maby by this project, it let me open my eyes more about the presentation techniques.
when i loooked at my finished product, i am totally satisfied with it. me and my partner had sacraficed our sleep time just to finished up this movie maker. maby its our fault at the first place cause didnt started it early and doing a last minutes preparation. but i have to say, the time that flying from 9pm till 5am is worth it after all. and i also had fun while doing it.
In a few words i would like to describe myself
before presentation:
nervous, so nervous that my whole body started to sweat. and also just cant wait to get this things over with.
after presentation:
so released, im so glad that all of this had finish. so happy yet felt like my presentation is not going so great. so many mistakes i had done. but on top of it, im satisfied.
of course what i had learnt last sem had help me in this project. a lot actually. especially in the presentation part. last sem i had been exposed on the presentation skill. how to stand in front of the crowd, how to speak and most importantly, how to get over the nervousness. what i meant is that, by presentating a lot, slowly, we could get rid of the nervous feeling, it is because by time, we will get used to it. but that dosent make my presentation perfect. its going to take some time to make myself a great presentator.
by the time, im learning. it is a learning process.

I felt very happy after done my movie maker and powerpoint presentation. Although I'm not very satisfied with it, but I still have to do it. While preparing for the movie maker presentation, I have learn how to make a nice picture, to cut songs and lots more. That's very interesting.Before I present the presentation, I felt very nervous.I do not prepared myself for it, then my group is a second group to present..OMG!!!... I really nervous..During the presenatation, I think that the presentattion skill that I learnt last semester help me to improve myself in the way to talk....

i'm glad it's over.. hehe.. i have go through a lot of difficulties to complete this task.. limited time, video and resources are some of the few setbacks me.. before the presentation i felt nervous and had a little bit difficulties to speak in front of my friends.. but i managed to control it and do my presentation.. and it feel relieve after that.. haha.. on the aspects of my learning in last semester, it did a lot of help to me.. standing straight, looking to the eyes of the audience is the aspects of a good presentation..

the presentation of now and then is over.i'm glad that i done it well...i think so.for my group's presentation, we take music player as a topic.we had faces many problems during the movie maker and power point progress.i'm lucky because my group members are responsible person.this presentation required us have basic for making movie maker.so i have learnt how to manage movie maker and be patient.frankly i say what i had learnt last semester is quite help me in the presentation....it help me to be more confidence and believe in myself.that's all......tq

I'm quite satisfied with our finished product....
Because it took almost 7hours of our sleeping time and it was worth it!
i didnt expect that our movie is going to be that great since we did it at the last minute... hehe... but it can be more spectacular if we did it earlier and find more source...
me before the presentation: nervous.butterfly in my stomach.shaking.when is this torture going to stop??.what am i going to say in front of my friends?.am i going to make a fool out of myself??.did i wear any pants today?????!!.

after the presentation:relieved.still a bit nervous.a bit shaking.my heart pumping really fast.heart dancing at the same time.glad it was over!
I personally think what i learnt last sem did help me but I still have butterflies everytime I'm presenting... thats is my own problem... I dont know why... maybe my guts isnt ready to stand in front of the crowds... however i'm still learning and hoping i will do better next time... and really really hope i have guts to speak and NO MORE SHAKING! hahaha!

Indeed! Gone are the headaches of figuring out the best way to compare and contrast a product, better yet in a videoclip. Looking back at the process that we went through to come up with the videoclip, I must say, I am truly proud. Although the outcome was not exactly what our group had envisioned, I think we all still deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. I personally would take this as a challenge to futher improve on my documentary and presentation skills.
Each time I replay our group's videoclip, I would have an overwhelming sense of joy and relieve. I am truly happy that we actually manage to finish up the clip in time for presentation as a few of our earlier productions were corrupted due to some technical problems with our laptops. Nevertheless, I am so glad that is over as I definitely would not want to go through another night of constantly recovering corrupted pictures and cutting songs to fit the videoclip.
I think that what we learned last semester did help us quite a bit in our project this semester, especially in terms of presentation skills. The moulding that we received through presentations and the product exhibition last semester really build up our confidence and polish up our presentation skills, although, we still have much room for improvement.

ehmmm.. the sound hear like something that very difficult to make it..
but.. after i learned a few step on how to make it, it actually very interesting to do.. i enjoyed play with it..
after finished up..i was very satisfied because i had done by myself and also with my partner..
talk about the last semester... i also had learn many things such as how to make better presentation.. presentation skills.. and also product exhibition..
all this things very usefull to me to make this semester in technical writing subject will be the 'A' subject.. and apply it in my future,study and mylife..

It had been along time since I have already done the presentation of Movie Maker Product. As I can think that what a release!!
I can says that all I have done in finishing this task was a great experience. As this is my first time of using Microsoft Movie Maker!! Woww!! I really enjoy in doing this. Also I had been a lot of troubles in searching the suitable video clips on Youtube website because of UMP blockage system. Searching on the right choices of songs and related pictures. All this stuffs are something new to me and I really enjoy in doing them.
First knowing that I have to do this task, I think it was quite boring. Also had a presentation and stood n front of the class talking about the product, "Now and Then"..these were such some of my unfavourite task. But as time passing by, I can feel that I have started to enjoy doing it. I think my presentation with Mohd Fauzan was a great job. We have done all the beat..Ohh,what a release!!!
Thanks also to Miss Normala Samsudin, my previous lecturer of Tecnical English UHL2322. All that she taught last semester were very useful in doing all this task. I learned a lot from her on how to compare and contrast and most importantly, the right way in doing public speaking or speech. She taught on how to counter my nervous and be the best presenter. She told me about eye contact with the audience and what the most important is body contact. This is some of the ways to catch audience attention.
I think I have learned a lot from this task and thanks to Madam Ju for also guided me in finishing this task. I hope that I will apply all things I have learned in my next task and also perform when I get a job someday..

hye.. i hope it's not too late for me to leave a comment on this post. its been a long time since the presentation had been done. actually, it was a new experinece for me in making a movie by using windows movie maker. i really enjoyed doing this. when i got the task, i was so excited to do it. although i had to face some problems to finish it up but i tried my best to make the best video as we can. after i had presented it, i felt so release because the presentation part was the part that i don't like most. i did use the last sem lessons in my presentation but may be not all. i have to improve more in my presentation skills.

For this semester, I have to learn and use something that I had never done before which is movie maker. Throughout this project, I found out that it is quite interesting and at least I have learnt something new. Not forgetting, what I have learnt last semester, I still have to use it again when I had to present what I had done for my assignment on the comparisn and contrast. I think, what I get last semester is very useful which is the presentation skills. Now, I know how to attract peolpe's attention and the proper manner when I am telling people about something.

Assalamualaikum madam.
After i finished this project,i realized that i have learnt many things through this. Firstly, I managed to work on with Windows Movie Maker that is really interesting thing to learnt. Me and my group member worked hard on it since it is our first time do our project using a computer programme. In the beginning, we have faced many problems such as internet connection that was very slow and lack of knowledge about using the Windows Movie Maker. But, we managed to handle it successfully. Secondly, i have the oppurtunity to improve my communication skill during presentation. I'm quite shuttered at first but it was alright at the middle of the presentation. Again, I managed to do the presentation quite well. This project really interesting n helpful to student.

It is really a hard work to complete especially for our group that made up of three person. We were asked for another extra thing than other groups which is just two person per group. We have presented and compare contrast a product in a videoclip and learned how to insert sounds and convert files for the presentation.
After done the task, I feel not satisfied with what I have done. I feel that we were not hit the target of our task given. However, I don't know how to use the movie maker before and now I knew it after the lesson prepare for the presentation.
What I have learnt last semester do not help me much in this semester because I almost forgot what I have learnt before. I still need to practise more to improve my skill.
Hello..frankly speaking i would like to say that i'm glad that this presentation is over..huh..but,i feel ot satisfied with what i have done..actually i feel that me and my partner not achieved the target of the task given..by the way,i am very gladfull that with this presentation,it can recall me back on what i have learn last semester :)

using movie maker is quite easy,but the topic is too difficult for me and my partner..
limited time,limited source,error during the publishing this video almost push me to give up..

bout that now and then peresentation i think i had try my best..making the movie using movie maker was so interesting..sometimes it was quite difficult but sometimes it was not..we did it!! we had choose to present about iron..so before the presentation i was quite nervous and scared but after i did it i felt so released...what i learned last semester of course help me a lot especially in the way to deliver a speech, the voice intonation and also the body contact..

first there was nervousness, then anxiety doubles it...luckily it ended with reliefs...i didn't have much to practice before the actual presentation...come to think about it...i just walked in front and talked...experience i gain from last semester helped a lot...if it wasn't for it, i would definitely be babbling my way through...
