Reading Entries for October P02

Good evening madam...
Today,I want to talk about a book which I have read. The name of the book is "Invisible Man".
On the surface, Invisible Man is about an individual trying to find his way in the world, moving from being a loner to being part of a social movement back to being a loner again. Peel away that layer and it almost seems to be about race, but if you peel away that layer you’ll find that the book is about humankind, stumbling along trying to figure itself out. There are a lot of books out there that touch upon these issues, but they all seem to want to blame someone. The truth is that there is no truth outside of our own experience, that everyone’s experiences are different, and by spending all of our time being racist or fighting racism, we’re not actually solving a damn thing.

By this,Invisible Man changed me in more dimensions than I can even relate. It taught me that what was true for me wasn’t necessarily true for anyone else. It taught me that racism is just someone buying into a negative stereotype. It taught me how much actions speak louder than words. That's the book I had read about!

i would like to share about the book that I've read..it tittle is "Chasing Daisy"...this is the book that i bought at Batu Pahat during our course visit to UTHM..
Basically, this book is about a women name Daisy Rogers and her attempt to have the love of her life. She was born into a wealth and but she doesn't like it. she ran away from home and work as an artist manager. She fell in love with a very famous artist and she had her heart broken. Then she work as a hospitality girls for a company that serves for a Formula 1 team, and she fell in love with one of the driver, which actually already had a childhood girlfriend. Very unlucky her, just as William Trust, the F1 driver responses to her love, he died in an accident during race. Daisy had her heart broken again without realizing that there is a man that had waiting for her for two years. The man is the other driver of the company, Luis Castro. Daisy seems can't find a way to forget William and that make it hard for her to accept Luis. But it's all changes when Luis almost had accident during a race and that make Daisy realizes that she doesn't want to lose anymore person in her life.

This book is really interesting as I feel like I'm in the team as Daisy travel all over the world depending on the F1 season. They had travel from Melbourne to Monte Carlo, and also from Sao Paolo to Singapore.
The part that i like in the book is when they had arrived for a season in Kuala Lumpur. The writer praise our Malaysia and also mentioned our beach Langkawi as the place that must be visited when coming to this country. That make me very proud of our Malaysia.
other than that, the book had also taught me that money isn't everything in the world. There are no promises that you'll be happy even if you had all the money in the world.
That is about the book that i had read. Thank you.

today,I want to talk about an article which I have read..it title is Batik industry can 'reap gains from technology'.
the application of science and technology in the production of songket and batik will not mar the art of its creation but will benefit the craft from various aspects, including production quality.
datin seri rosmah mansor, the wife the prime minister, said the batik and weaving industry may be left behind if traditional methods like hand painting and block printing were not paired together with the latest technology to improve production.she said this was because traditional techniques were time-consuming and not cost-effective, rendering them uncompetitive and unable to breach overseas markets and fulfil the current market demand...
at the same time, the craft's cultural heritage would remain intact despite the changes and new technologies adopted in its production as it would still portray the malay community's culture..that all..thank you..

Reading entries?? Let me share to all of you what I had read on this month. I just finished reading one article that is about learn to love English. I never stop learn English since i was in standard one until now. I think English is not a tough subject if we learn to love it. Based on this article, if we set in our mind that English is difficult subject and too difficult to master it so that must be disaster to you. Our mind set would effect our attitude toward it. Make your mind ready and commit yourself to spend your time in improving language skills to set your goals. Then only you can become the real master …a master who mastered English language and his own mind. As a result, these negative thoughts bring their motivational levels further down and register in their subconscious mind that they can’t master English language. Just learn to love English and have a fun while learn it..

To be honest,is difficult for me to read even 1 book because i don't love reading. But a few weeks ago i discover 1 book that open my heart to reading. The tittle of this book is "Chicken Soup For The Soul".This book contents with 101 stories to open heart and rekindle the spirit.

Well of course i am not finish all of the stories yet but there are a few stories that attract me a lot.

The story "Just Say it" by Gene Bedley is the most attractive for me at this time. The story is about the father and his son.
One night, after reading the parenting books the father was discover that he have to say a words of love to his beloved son.The most thing he want to say is the magic words "i love you".So the father came to his son and try to talk from heart to heart. At the first place, the father did a very well to talk from heart to heart with his son but still can not express how he love his son very much.So he try for the second time but still he can express it.At the third time then he able to express her lover and say the magic words.

From this story i realize that so difficult to say that we love someone even the person is around us.

Its pretty easy to access and simple enough.the picture i took is from the Acer Aspire 4736 the intel core 2 Duo version. and as usual. core 2 Duo processor came with Centrino's logo and its still the old stickers.i have seen some with new intel sticker which are away more amazing.this 4736 series also features Dolby Home Theater Speaker but not that loud though as per normal laptop standard and the power LED is nice. notice the one blue line to the left of the power button?that is the charging indicator. when you plugged in the charger it will be lighted up.

Good day!Okay okay, i know i've been procrastinating! The fact i'm publishing all 5 summaries of reading materials that is imprinted in my memory on the day before i'm suppose to pass up my blog clearly shows the size of the procrastinator bug in me. However, better late than never...wahaha!
Anyway, the 1st reading material that I'm about to bring to your attention belongs to a boring genre to most people, which might include you, my good lecturer. However, my interest have always been around this type of genre.
Romance of the Three Kingdom, one of the 4 great literatures of China where honour, loyalty, bravery, intelligence and great tactics of war served as the background to this fascinating story.
Basically it is the story of the foundation of the mentioned 3 kingdoms which is Shu, Wu and Wei, and how they fought and rivalled with one and another until all 3 is united-with a twist of irony, under a different dynasty instead.
It's too long for me to give a sypnosis of this book because it's like an eastern counterpart of Homer's Illiad, with hundreds of interesting, fascinating characters and numerous of interesting scenes.
What I've learned from this great piece of literature? How people of the ancient times can forsake everything and fight in the name of honour; how easily humans can succumb to greed and power; and how every decision we made in life can change the course of it.
Well, that sums it up for my 1st entry

Assalammualaikum Mdm Jumani, this time i would like to share with you about an article i read entitled "Finding Joy in Sacrifice". Basically this article is about two wealthy Christians, a lawyer and a merchant, who traveled with a group that was going around the world. As they were visiting in Korea, they saw by the side of the road, a field in which a boy was pulling a crude plow and an old man held the plow handles and guided it. The lawyer was amused and took a snapshot of the scene.
He turned to the missionary, who served as their interpreter and guide, and he said, "That's a curious picture. I suppose they are very poor."

The guide replied, "Yes, that is the family of Chi Noue. When the place of worship was being built, they were eager to give something to it, but they had no money, so they sold their only ox and gave the money to the church. This spring, they are pulling the plow themselves."

The men were silent for several moments. Then the businessman replied, "That must have been a real sacrifice."

The guide said, "They do not call it that. They thought it was fortunate that they had an ox to sell."

I am reminded of a parable Jesus told: "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."

Notice carefully the words, "for joy." This man doesn't just sell everything he has; he does so with joy. He doesn't regret it. He doesn't complain about the sacrifice he has to make. In fact, he probably doesn't even consider it to be a sacrifice. He gives a lot for the field, but he gets so much more in return.

When I perform a wedding ceremony, I often include these words: "Whatever sacrifice you will be required to make to preserve this common life, always make it generously. Sacrifice is usually difficult. Only love can make it easy; and perfect love can make it a joy."

The same thing holds true in our walk with Christ. Sacrifices will be necessary, and only a deep love for Christ will make them a joy. The real test of our commitment is not so much whether we are willing to make sacrifices for our Lord, but whether we are able to make those sacrifices with joy.

Assalammualaikum Mdm Jumani, today I'm really interested to share with you what I've read about "L.O.V.E". There are many meaning and perception about love. Every people have their own perception about what LOVE are. Scientists say that the brain chemistry of infatuation is akin to mental illness—which gives new meaning to "madly in love."

In the Western world we have for centuries concocted poems and stories and plays about the cycles of love, the way it morphs and changes over time, the way passion grabs us by our flung-back throats and then leaves us for something saner. If Dracula—the frail woman, the sensuality of submission—reflects how we understand the passion of early romance, the Flintstones reflects our experiences of long-term love: All is gravel and somewhat silly, the song so familiar you can't stop singing it, and when you do, the emptiness is almost unbearable.

We have relied on stories to explain the complexities of love, tales of jealous gods and arrows. Now, however, these stories—so much a part of every civilization—may be changing as science steps in to explain what we have always felt to be myth, to be magic. For the first time, new research has begun to illuminate where love lies in the brain, the particulars of its chemical components.

Anthropologist Helen Fisher may be the closest we've ever come to having a doyenne of desire. At 60 she exudes a sexy confidence, with corn-colored hair, soft as floss, and a willowy build. A professor at Rutgers University, she lives in New York City, her book-lined apartment near Central Park, with its green trees fluffed out in the summer season, its paths crowded with couples holding hands.

Fisher has devoted much of her career to studying the biochemical pathways of love in all its manifestations: lust, romance, attachment, the way they wax and wane. One leg casually crossed over the other, ice clinking in her glass, she speaks with appealing frankness, discussing the ups and downs of love the way most people talk about real estate. "A woman unconsciously uses orgasms as a way of deciding whether or not a man is good for her. If he's impatient and rough, and she doesn't have the orgasm, she may instinctively feel he's less likely to be a good husband and father. Scientists think the fickle female orgasm may have evolved to help women distinguish Mr. Right from Mr. Wrong."

One of Fisher's central pursuits in the past decade has been looking at love, quite literally, with the aid of an MRI machine. Fisher and her colleagues Arthur Aron and Lucy Brown recruited subjects who had been "madly in love" for an average of seven months. Once inside the MRI machine, subjects were shown two photographs, one neutral, the other of their loved one.

What Fisher saw fascinated her. When each subject looked at his or her loved one, the parts of the brain linked to reward and pleasure—the ventral tegmental area and the caudate nucleus—lit up. What excited Fisher most was not so much finding a location, an address, for love as tracing its specific chemical pathways. Love lights up the caudate nucleus because it is home to a dense spread of receptors for a neurotransmitter called dopamine, which Fisher came to think of as part of our own endogenous love potion. In the right proportions, dopamine creates intense energy, exhilaration, focused attention, and motivation to win rewards. It is why, when you are newly in love, you can stay up all night, watch the sun rise, run a race, ski fast down a slope ordinarily too steep for your skill. Love makes you bold, makes you bright, makes you run real risks, which you sometimes survive, and sometimes you don't.

Hello Mdm, now I would like to share with you what I've read bout FRIENDSHIP..... Firstly, I would like to ask you, Why Friendship and what is need of friendship?

Why we need friendships when we have a lovely life in this world?
Why we need friends in our life?

Well Mdm, this is a tedious question to answer. Lets see each questions.

Why we need friendships?

Friendships are the gift to the man kind. The relation which we get in this world are blood related. But the only relationships which doesnot related to blood is friendship. Friendship has many forms and shapes. It is like water. If we pour the water into a jug it takes the shape of jug. if you pour the same water into a bowl it takes the shape o bowl. Sameway friendships will take a different shapes and sizes according to our heart. Friendship gives pleasure to human beings. Where there is friendship then there will not be any sorrow. When you see a child laughing you will forget your sorrows for a second, sameway when you are with a friend you forget your sorrows.

Friendships crosses boundries

The world is rotating smoothly because of the friendly hearts in the world. it crosses boundries and share a mutual bonding of love. Friendships will take care of this entire world from problems. If we are friends then our countries will, when our countries are friends then there is not need of weapons. So take weapon named friendship and love and conqure the world with love.

Friendships saves life

Trusted true friendships never makes others down. it helps a lot to make friends to comeup from the situation. Friendships never expect anything in return for all its offering. It saves life without looking into situation.

Lets get friendship and let's BE Penfriends.

Why we need friends & friendships?

Friends comes with friendships, They are the channel of love and affection. Friends are like child's heart which doesn't know wrong thinkings. When there is a friend with us we feel secure, happy, huge support, and comfortable which you can't get from others.

So Lets get some real friends in this world. and lets Be Friends.

Interested in reading about some of the Mysteries of friendship.

Hello again. The 2nd book which I'm about to mention should be more to the general taste as there are romantic influence in it. However, if you're expecting a romance novel from me, obviously you're expecting from the WRONG person.
Sky Burial from Xue Xinran,a true story based on the author's re-creation of this touching story from her interview or meeting with the main character herself.
It was in the communist age in China, when a young bride, Shu Wen found out that she was widowed after only 100 days of marriage. Refusing to believe that she and her beloved were already separated by life and death, she joined the army as a doctor, ventured to Tibet, where her husband, a communist army doctor himself, was said to have died in action. Little did she knew that she would be spending her next few decades in TIbet; surviving death, being a part of the Tibetan nomad family that rescued her along with learning and accepting the Tibetan language and culture. After decades of wandering in a forign land, the mystery on the death of her beloved was revealed along with the haunting ritual of sky burial in Tibet. Last but not least, her journey back to her homeland China after a long and tiring search of love and truth.
Truly, this is a extraordinary potrait on the strength of one single woman in search of what is dear to her and the mysterious, spiritual land that holds the key to the truth that she have been searching.

Stress!!!!! Have you ever felt this before??? I'm sure that you did experience this feeling sometimes. Theoretically, there are a lot of info on this problem. Here are some info that I get from magazine about stress......

Stress is simply a fact of nature—forces from the outside world affecting the individual. The individual responds to stress in ways that affect the individual as well as their environment. Hence, all living creatures are in a constant interchange with their surroundings (the ecosystem), both physically and behaviorally. This interplay of forces, or energy, is of course present in the relationships between all matter in the universe, whether it is living (animate) or not living (inanimate). However, there are critical differences in how different living creatures relate to their environment. These differences have far-reaching consequences for survival. Because of the overabundance of stress in our modern lives, we usually think of stress as a negative experience, but from a biological point of view, stress can be a neutral, negative, or positive experience.

In general, stress is related to both external and internal factors. External factors include the physical environment, including your job, your relationships with others, your home, and all the situations, challenges, difficulties, and expectations you're confronted with on a daily basis. Internal factors determine your body's ability to respond to, and deal with, the external stress-inducing factors. Internal factors which influence your ability to handle stress include your nutritional status, overall health and fitness levels, emotional well-being, and the amount of sleep and rest you get.

Stress has driven evolutionary change (the development and natural selection of species over time). Thus, the species that adapted best to the causes of stress (stressors) have survived and evolved into the plant and animal kingdoms we now observe. Man is the most adaptive creature on the planet because of the evolution of the human brain, especially the part called the neo-cortex. This adaptability is largely due to the changes and stressors that we have faced and mastered. Therefore, we, unlike other animals, can live in any climate or ecosystem, at various altitudes, and avoid the danger of predators. Moreover, most recently, we have learned to live in the air, under the sea, and even in space, where no living creatures that we know of have ever survived. So then, what is so bad about stress?

As an educated human being you can think about it.....

Happy Thursday to you Mdm.... This lovely morning, I would like to share with you about WEALTHY..... Huhuhu
Most of people love to become rich, but they some time forget that, wealthy doesn't mean that you will be happy...... as happy as a king....

Come let's take a look at what I've read about 'THE WEALTHY BEGIN TUMBLING DOWN WITH NO END IN SIGHT'......

It was bound to happen - only a matter of time until the greed of the elites began to reverse itself and their money flow dwindled for the first time in decades. Those who were complicit in outsourcing American manufacturing are now feeling the pinch, and it's because they forgot one sobering fact that now is becoming evident as the wealthy begin their spiral into the necessity of watching every penny they spend, and many are selling off assets to pay bills. Tisk, tisk, what a shame as they begin to reap what they have sown"

Their arrogance and greed was mind-numbing as they outsourced America's light and heavy manufacturing to increase their bottom lines, but they forgot to factor the American consumer into their quest for money - and instead of acknowledging that the United States was the largest consumer of goods in the world, it takes money to purchase those items, necessities and luxuries alike - and in order to keep on buying, our country had to give them well paying jobs to sustain their growth. Instead, awash with power and greed, the forgotten American had to quit buying anything more than the barest of necessities, and whether it's cheap junk from China or quality American made goods, both take money to purchase, and the bulk of Americans are almost flat-out broke!

Now that reality may be dawning on the wealthiest of Americans, digging themselves out of the hole they created may be harder than they might have thought. It takes money to bring back our manufacturing sector - and there is far too little of that available - and those that do have it are holding on to it for dear life, further complicating the situation. The old adage that “It takes money to Make Money” has never been more of a truism - and like us, the wealthy are now beginning to face the reality of their folly.

today,I want to talk about an article which I have read. its title is "A true gem of the film industry". for your information, with Yasmin Ahmad's death,Malaysia has not only lost a renowned storyteller and a legend behind the camera, but also a favourite of film audiences and critics alike, Malaysian and non-Malaysian.
yasmin was considered a gem in the film industry not just because she was not afraid to hone her craft but also dared to push the boundaries in ways few other Malaysian filmmakers have done..25 july 2009 is a sad day, the day Malaysia lost someone so talented and amazing.she is gone but will never be forgotten by her fans and critics in Malaysia and beyond.
her films and advertisements are not just legacies to the Malaysian entertainments industry, but also are a national treasure for our future generations to appreciate...that all..thank you..

Yes, me again. Now moving on to third book. Wild Swans from Jun Chang, an autobiography book about the 3 strong feminine figures from 3 different generations in the author's family, including the author herself.
The legacy of this feminine strength started with the author's grandmother who was bethrothed to a warlord General in the early 1900s as a mere concubine in order to gain status for her poor family. As fate would have it, although only a concubine, she was the only one who conceived an offspring for the General, giving birth to a daughter few months before the General's death. She was proclaimed to be free with the General's last word but knowing that freedom wouldn't come easily, since her child was the only heir to the General and ought to be controlled by the General's principal spouses, she escaped with her infant daughter. Eventually the author's grandmother found happiness in an older doctor and married him, and with whom she and the author's mother, made a new home in Jinzhou, Manchuria.
The book continues with the story of the author's mother who joined the Communist Party of China and rises through the ranks with her hard work for the party. She eventually met the author's father, a high-ranking officer in the party and was soon married to him, but unlike the sweet newly weds, the initial stage of the marriage was rocky. As both of the author's parents were in the party, they were separated according to their ranks and the author's mother, being in the lower rank, had to suffer the trainings and lack of privilleges which will eventually cost her the life of her unborn baby. In the words of the author's mother to the author : "Your father was a great soldier but a terrible husband". However, the author's father regretted his inattentiveness and swore to never repeat his mistakes.
The author's parents went on to have her and her four other siblings.
Finally, the book moved on to the author's life, where like her parents, she joined the communist party in her teens and became a Red Guard, the terrible agents of destruction during the Cultural Revolution. However, the author soon realised the hypocrisy behind the Cultural Revolution which was a decoy of the leader Mao Zedong to secure his influence among the people through fanatical patriotism and acts of violence. The author's family suffered greatly especially with the death of her father after he suffered physically and mentally from that meaningless historical event. At the end of the Cultural Revolution, the author worked hard to secure a place in the university and eventually graduating in her studies of English and earned a scholarship to study in England. Therefore she went to England to embark on a new journey in her life and didn't return to China
I was deeply amazed by the strength of the 3 women after reading this book. In the sense that they managed to shape their lives even in the harsh, cruel reality and live through it really showed me the true meaning of survival. At the same time, it does impose a sense of gratefulness and humility in me as we do not have to go through all that jazz and obviously all the trials and tribulation we have now is nothing compared to what the 3 women experienced back then.

askm madam jumani...today i would like share with you about digital camera model COOLPIX L20/L19.Focus the lens.No lens is perfect, and it's a good things.By definition,a lens is a distorted view of what we normally see. That distortion should be managed,of course and careful photographers should be aware of both the strengths and weaknesses of their tools.Often stopping down will minimize the imperfections. But the desire for a perfect lens is one of those things that reminds us to be careful of what we wish for.
So we don't speak of defects but of aberrations.Which reminds us of the sort of people you might invite to a party. There are seven distirct types.

Hence, the owner of the chemical company is trying to secure a seat in the court (cable) with lots of money, he then finance, manipulate, market and train him to be one of the supreme-court justices. Finally, he managed to save his company from being sued.

askm madam jumani.Today i want to talk about article which i have read. its title is As-sunnah.
-Sunnah and hadith,in islam, the arabic word sunnah has come to denote the way prophet Muhammad(saw),the messenger of Allah, lived his life
-the sunnah is the second source of islamic jurisprudence, the first being the Qur'an
-both sources are indispensable;one cannot practice islam without consulting both of them.
-the arabic word hadith(pl.ahadith)is very similar to sunnah, but not idential.
-a hadith is a narration about the life of the prophet(pbuh)or what he approved-as opposed to his life itself, which is the sunnah as already mentioned.

assalamualaikum...I know I'd share my reading....but I'd like to share some more...as I mentioned in my previous post, I really love books..I've read a lot of books and there are a lot more waiting to be read...for now, I like to share about the book that I've just finish read it for how many times, I didn't bother to count..it is titled The Princess by Jude Deveraux..and yes, she is my favourite author besides Stephanie Meyer and Sidney Sheldon..after reading this book again, there is an urge inside that told me I should tell people about the book..
The Princess is a story about a crown princess of a small European country that had been saved from a murder trial by an U.S Navy..The princess named Aria however is very arrogant an ungrateful to her savior, Lieutenant J.T Montgomery..She can't go back to her country as the world wasn't been told about the murder attempt and there is someone that posed as the crown princess..the U.S Navy take advantage of the situation in intention to have the uranium from Aria's country..they made a deal and Aria have to marry J.T and pose and American wife..
few months of her marriage is somewhat her practice to be a perfect American..she was very arrogant at first..but her admiration to J.T has made her changed..she'd try her very best to improve herself so that she can get back her throne and at the same time to impress her husband..
there was this one thing that both Aria and J.T knew very well..when Aria get back her throne, she only can choose either one..her throne or her husband..
this is a great book by deveraux..from the book i realize that everyone can change..it may took longer time in different person..but it will happen eventually...and there is the other side of a you within yourself..you may seem very harsh and rude, but there is a soft side inside you that you try to hard..and there are reasons behind it..but you don't have to be afraid to show what you really are..other thing that I've learn is trust and honesty is the basic principal of a relationship..no matter what type of a relationship that you have..between mother and child...between friends..between teacher and students..it is apply to every single of it..
I think that's all that i like to share as my last comments..I'll continue reading books whether it is because it is a blog work or not..seriously, I can't live without books..thank you

Almost approaching to the end, I give you the 4th book that I've read recently which is Life's Like That by our very own Malaysian, Lydia Teh.
This book is like a compilation of daily scenes in our Malaysian life through the author's eyes. Like for example, the famous road rage that every Malaysian has, once they're behind the wheels, or the Malaysian loving habit of littering in places that specifically have the "DONT'T LITTER HERE" signboard, things we see in everyday life that will make us say : "Malaysians!". However, this book is more to the lives of a typical Chinese Malaysian, considering the author is of that race.
Nevertheless, it's a good and worthy book to be read especially for Malaysians as you can read through the chapters and can't help but to smile or laugh in agreement with the author.

MY FIRST PRESENTION TECHNICAL ENGLISH..THE STORY ABOUT SUMAYYAH BIN KHAYYAT.

One of the most noble examples of muslim womanhood and the first martyr of Islam was the female companion Sumayyah Bint Khayyat (may Allah be pleased with her). She was one those who stood fast and resolute upon the worship of Allah alone when the muslims were few and their success was only through patience upon the truth . An excerpt of her biography [radi'Allahu anha] follows.
The Biography of the companion of Allah's Messenger [sall'Allahu aleihi wa salam] Sumayyah Bint-Khubbab as found in the Al-Isabah [vol 8 ./189-190] of the noble scholar and imam of hadith Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani [rahim'Allah] with additional details taken from 'at-Tabaqat al-Kubra 'of Ibn- Saad Volume 8 pg 193.
"She is the mawla of Abu Hudhaifah ibn Al-Mughirah ibn Abd'Allah ibn Amr ibn Makhyum, mother of Ammar ibn Yasir. She was the seventh one to accept Islam. Abu Jahl tortured her by stabbing her in the private parts and she died as a result of that. Therefore she was the first 'shaheedah' (martyr) in Islam. Yasir was a slave to Abu Hudhaifah, so Abu Hudhaifah married him to Sumayyah and they had Ammar, and Abu Hudhaifah freed his slave. Yasir and his wife and his son were all from the earliest people to accept Islam.
Ibn Ishaq stated in his 'Maghazi' that some men from the family of Ammar ibn Yassar narrated that Umm Ammar was punished by the family of al-Mughira because of her Islam. And she refused to leave Islam [and so she was punished ] until they killed her. The Prophet [sall'Allahu aleihi was salam] used to go to Ammar, his mother and his father when they were being punished at al-Abtah, during the month of Ramadhan in Mecca. He [sall'Allahu aleihi was salam] would say " Be patient oh family of Ammar- your appointed destination is Jannah."
Mujahid said "The first ones who showed their Islam in Mecca were seven: the Messenger of Allah [sall'Allahu aleihi was salam], Abu Bakr, Bilal, Khatab, Suhaib, Ammar, Sumayyah." As far as the Messenger of Allah [sall'Allahu aleihi was salam] and Abu Bakr then their people prevented them from being harmed. As for the others, they [the mushrikin] seized them, dressed them in a suit of armor and cooked them in the sun. Abu Jahl came to Sumayyah and stabbed her with a spear in her private parts. Abu Shaibah and the author Jarir and Mansur and Mujahid… stated it is mursal with an authentic chain.
Ibn Sa'd narrates with an authentic chain on the authority of Mujahid that the first shaheed in Islam was Sumayyah, the mother of Ammar ibn Yasir. And she was a small old woman. And Abu Jahl was killed on the day of Badr. The Messenger [sall'Allahu aleihi was salam] said to Ammar: "Allah has killed the one who has killed your mother."

FINALLY!My last book entry to you, my good lecturer!(rejoicing!)I was actually running out of ideas on what book to write about until i thought of this one. I'm sure you have heard of the famous 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. Well, I didn't read the book, yet but i did read the one from his equally brialliant son,Sean Covey. 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.
The book, just like what the title suggested is about the 7 habits great habits that a successful, or in the books context:effective teenagers should have. It teaches and shows the effective way of organising your life, focusing and deciding on what you want in your future, communicating with people around you..etc etc. To be honest, the last time I read the book was last year, so I couldn't remember the whole 7 types of habits that were listed there. However, I do remember this book is a fantastic self help book as it really taught and inspired me to improve my teenage life. It contains great quotes from great people; real-life stories and examples;realistic inspiration; and effective methods or habits then can be practiced to add a positive influence in your teenage years. Especially the chapters which focuses on the communication with people around you, I really can say I benefited from that the most because from an inconsiderate brat that I was in my younger days, I was able to turn into better person(still ongoing!)that can actually listen to what others has to say.
This books are not necessarily meant for teenagers and some of the methods I've learnt back then is still applicable for me to this day. I think the most appropriate way of saying is that the 7 Habits of HIghly Effective Teens is a good book for teenagers to upgrade and understand themselves more deeply and a great handy guide for adults to understand and cope with teenagers.

(woohoo!i'm done!)

assalamualaikum madam jue...for this comment, i want to share about one article that are very important for women but man also must take serious to this problem. i've read this article at the 'The Star'. this article are very attractive for me.
the title is about pregnancy and diabetes.
DIABETES mellitus is a condition in which the blood glucose is too high. It is due to insufficient insulin being produced or the cells in the body being unable to use insulin the way they should. Without insulin, the blood glucose that cannot get into the body’s cells accumulates in the bloodstream.

next is about the diabetic pregnancy. Diabetic pregnancies had invariably resulted in miscarriages until about three decades ago. Many diabetics get pregnant today. Although there are potential complications, a healthy baby will result, provided there is good control of the blood glucose. This can be achieved by close partnership between the patient with her obstetrician and her physician
there are many effects ofteh pregnancy on diabetes such as:-
1)During the first trimester, the insulin requirement may decrease slightly and can lead to hypoglycaemia which can affect brain function.
2)Insulin requirements increase gradually between 16 to 20 weeks of pregnancy and then markedly. This is due to the placental hormones which are important for foetal growth but concomitantly, blocks the effects of insulin.
3)The kidneys of some pregnant women may handle glucose differently from those of non-pregnant women. Glucose is excreted in the urine although the blood glucose is normal or in the absence of hyperglycaemia.

Thats all from me. so, i think all the information i given above can be use with other friends. altough, we're not in this profession or situation but i think we must take care and know about this problem...one day, its maybe for your mom or your wife or YOU!!! ;)

Salam...a very pleasant morning to madam Wan Jumani...I’ve been read an article in the star about the dangerous of melamine. You know what???
There are lots of things in your household that contains melamine, and the most common is those "plastic" cups and plates that you eat from almost everyday. They contain melamine. The Formica plastic in your kitchen contains melamine and so does the plastic in your fridge. But don't panic. Melamine is a very hard substance; it can stand reasonably high temperatures and under normal use is very insolvable. The Chinese are actually grinding melamine into a fine powder and mixing that into the milk powder. It is through this that you can ingest enough to make you sick. Now, this is one thing you have to watch out for. You see all the hawkers using those hard plastic plates. They are made out of melamine. Under normal conditions they do not pose a health threat but melamine becomes soft under high temperatures. Some of it may melt and stick to your food. This is one way you can ingest it. So if you see your hawker put your food into the microwave to warm it up for you.....beware. If the temperature is high enough some of it may melt. And when you go to the supermarket you can see kitchen utensil made out of melamine e.g. plastic stirrers and scoops for stirring the wok. For scooping up hot soup, it is ok but for frying things and dipping the utensil in boiling oil is not. As I said before.....the risk is very small, so there is no reason to panic, just be advised. I recommend that at home when you warm up your food in the microwave oven use a glass bowl or a China plate. Use wooden or metal stirrers and scoops

Assalamualaikum Madam Jumani, today i want to share about the novel “Potato People” by Angela Wright. This story took place in Ireland. The novel illustrates the suffering of the Irish people during that time due to the poor harvest of potatoes and long dry season. The main character Patrick an Irish boy who suffer through that period as an orphan. The struggle to survive from starvation because of potatoes disease known as “potato blight” further worsen by colonizations of the English landlord from England. Patrick and his people were driven out of their land led by the henchmen of Lord Egham known as Mr. Graystone.
Sean is the man that gives Patrick the encouragement and motivation to search for freedom in faraway land – America. The novel further explains the difficulties, hurdles and suffering of Patrick in achieving the dream for freedom.
Toward the ending chapters of this novel another character in the form of Marie, a gypsy girl which further compliment the struggle of Patrick by giving the best of friendship, encouragement and braveness in pursuing together for freedom.
Finally, both of them managed to achieve their freedom and dream for paradise by migrating to America.

That's all i can share on how much the Irish hate the english people not only with regards to their ethnicity by the difference in faith, Irish people are normally “protestant” and the english are mostly “catholic”. Though all are christian faggot but they are at each other throat.

askm madam jumani.Today i want to talk about article which i have read. its title is early life Mahathir was born in Alor Setar, Kedah, the youngest of nine children of a schoolteacher and a housewife. His father, Mohamad Iskandar, was of Indian origin, being the son of a Malayalee Muslim (who migrated from Kerala) and a Malay mother, while Mahathir's own mother, Wan Tampawan, was Malay.

During World War II, he sold pisang goreng (banana fritters) and other snacks to supplement his family income during the Japanese occupation of Malaya. Mahathir attended a Malay vernacular school before continuing his education at the Sultan Abdul Hamid College in Alor Star. Mahathir then attended the King Edward VII Medical College (the predecessor of present-day National University of Singapore) in Singapore, where he edited a medical student magazine called The Cauldron; he also contributed to the The Straits Times newspaper pseudonymously under the nickname "Che Det". Mahathir was also President of the Muslim Society in the college.[9] Upon graduation in 1953, Mahathir joined the then Malayan government service as a medical officer. He married Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali—a fellow doctor and former classmate in college—on 5 August 1956, and left government service in 1957 to set up his own private practice in Alor Star. Mahathir thrived in private practice, and allowed him to own by 1959 a Pontiac Catalina and employ an ethnic Chinese chauffeur (at the time, almost all chauffeurs in Malaysia were Malays, owing to the economic dominance of the ethnic Chinese).[10] Some critics have suggested this foreshadowed a later hallmark of Mahathir's politics, which focused on the "cultivation of such emblems of power".

From his marriage with Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah binti Haji Mohamad Ali, they have seven children, four sons and three daughters: Marina Mahathir, Mirzan Mahathir, Melinda Mahathir, Mokhzani Mahathir, Mukhriz Mahathir, Maizura Mahathir and Mazhar Mahathir. Both Mukhriz and Mokhzani are involved in business as well as in politics while their eldest daughter Marina is a prominent local writer and AIDS activist.

He successfully underwent a heart bypass operation in 1989 at age 63

askm madam jumani.Today i want to talk about article which i have read. its title is Titanic is a 1997 American romantic drama film directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron about the sinking of the RMS Titanic. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, two members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ill-fated maiden voyage of the ship. The main characters and the central love story are fictional, but some characters (such as members of the ship's passengers and crew) are based on real historical figures. Gloria Stuart plays the elderly Rose, who narrates the film in a modern day framing device.

Production of the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the real wreck of the RMS Titanic. He envisioned the love story as a means to engage the audience with the real-life tragedy. Shooting took place on board the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh - which aided Cameron in filming the real wreck – for the modern scenes, and a reconstruction of the ship was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California. Cameron also used scale models and computer-generated imagery to recreate the sinking. Titanic became at the time the most expensive film ever made, costing approximately US$200 million with funding from Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox.

The film was originally to be released on July 2, 1997, but post-production delays pushed back the film's release to December 19, 1997.Upon release, the film turned out to be an enormous critical and commercial success, winning eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It became the highest-grossing film of all time, with a worldwide total of over $1.8 billion (it is the sixth-highest grossing in North America once adjusted for inflation)

I would like to tell detail about camera Digital L20/L19. That main part to me present is about battery. That means a combination of one or more electrochemical cells, used to convert stored chemical energy into electrical energy. That my group member choose the camera digital and that use battery AA, also to highly standardized, cheap-at least compared to most another. the camera use rated capacity 2000, estimated charging time a8.5 hours and type of control that have manual to use that. When charging only 2 batteries, place batteries in the two position to the left or right. Both AA or AAA size batteries can be charged at the same time.
