assalamualaikum,
hai,
today,i want to share you about how to keep our body is in healthiest.
this is that i read form health book.
1)Park and Walk
Whenever you have an errand, park your car as far away as you can handle and walk to the store. At the mall, park at the farthest end and walk the length of the mall. Use every opportunity to walk. At the end of the day, it all adds up to better fitness.
2)Walk 10 Minutes a Day and Increase Your Fitness Level Old thinking was to work out in a sweat-filled gym for hours a day. No pain, no gain. New studies show that even short bouts of activity can increase your fitness level, especially if you're new at working out.
3)Crunch in Bed
Before you even get out of bed in the morning, do 10 stomach crunches while lying flat on your mattress. Increase daily by one until you get up to 100. Think you'll never get there? Try it. You may eventually have to set your clock to wake up 15 minutes earlier, a small price to pay for a flatter stomach.

Assalamualaikum and good morning.
Hi, I’m Jeff.
I think that was longer times I took to unread something reading material such as book, magazine and also newspaper. At the same time I forgot how to post my comment. So today I feel that I want to sharing something that was read by me currently. The title of the books is ‘The Glorious Life’. Actually, I took the books from my sister. I am very interesting with the books because the box of the book is very colorful and a little childish for me.It is makes me attract to the books. Actually the books is inside of the box. Moreover, there are many card that was showing about variety of attitude. For example is humanity card. That’s why I said the books is a such a children books and also unique. After I read the books, I saw that there are many good moral value and perfect contain. The book teach me how to glorious life. The writer use plant as similarities of life. Starting with seeding, watering, caring, and harvest. Each step have the own meaning. Seeding like how to get the interest to being something. For example is like to hardworking person. Then the writer will be explain how to be hardworking. Meanwhile, watering is other using other element to support seeding concept. For examples, using other person’s opinion or using other references as a guidelines. Caring is concept how to maintaining good attitude. Last but not least is harvest. Harvest means how to bring all the three concept before in real life. That’s all about my reading lesson.

Thank you.

okay..seems like this is my last post for this semester on Mdm's blog and it has been quite a time since the last time i posted here. hmm..what can i share here as 'Reading Entries for October P01'? okay, recently i have read a post on Tun Dr. Mahathir's blog. here's the URL: http://dr-chedet.blogspot.com ..there's an entry who attract me to not only reading the post but all 400+ comments. the post is about the cancellation of bridge in Tebrau Straits which connects Johor state and Singapore. the bridge that already built is very traffic-congested during peak hours (morning when poeple going to work and evening when people going back from work) and also not high enough for ships to pass under it. so commercial ships and vessels from East has to take route until southern part of Singapore to go to West and vice versa. this made Singapore port as entreport for the ships and vessels to stop for refuelling, rest or whatsoever. occasionally, Singapore government is the one who will get the benefits from this. the proposal of building new bridge has been made since in the early 2000's. to build a straight and high enough bridge, Singaporean government has ask for sand trading and usage of Johor airspace for their military jets. as the alternative, Malaysian government planned to build curved bridge (Jambatan Bengkok). at the same time, Johorian refused to make their airspace to be used by Singapore Air Force and sand to be sold to Singapore. as the punishment for Johorian for not agree with it, our Prime Minister at that time has cancelled both straight and curved bridge. the cancellation shouldn't been done because the new bridge will give more benefits to our economic growth. Tun Dr Mahathir claimed that Pak Lah cancelled the bridge because Pak Lah couldn't get the profits from sand trading. what makes people angry is that Pak Lah stated that the cancellation has been made by taking Johorian voice. the Johorian actualy wants the project to be continued and not been bowing down to Singapore. the Malaysian government seems to be too 'soft' to the arrogant Singapore. oops by the way i;m not talking at the political aspect, just from a different perspective of current issue. we couldn't see this written in prime newspaper. for more stories on this, you could visit the URL given above. i think that's enough for this time being. thank you. chill, Cobra!!

salam madam Ju....
it's so long time i do not post my comment in your blog.. sorry ya madam ju.. okay today i want share with you about the article that i had read before this..ermm, the article is about vitamin.

vitamin is an organic compound required as a nutrient in tiny amounts by an organism. The term 'vitamin' first became popular in the early 1800's as a contraction of the words 'vital' and 'mineral', though the actual meaning of the word has developed somewhat since that time. A compound is called a vitamin when it cannot be synthesized in sufficient quantities by an organism, and must be obtained from the diet. Thus, the term is conditional both on the circumstances and the particular organism.

Vitamins are classified as either water-soluble or fat soluble. In humans there are 13 vitamins: 4 fat-soluble (A, D, E and K) and 9 water-soluble (8 B vitamins and vitamin C). Water-soluble vitamins dissolve easily in water, and in general, are readily excreted from the body, to the degree that urinary output is a strong predictor of vitamin consumption. Because they are not readily stored, consistent daily intake is important.
The are many types of water-soluble vitamins are synthesized by bacteria. Fat-soluble vitamins are absorbed through the intestinal tract with the help of lipids (fats). Because they are more likely to accumulate in the body, they are more likely to lead to hypervitaminosis than are water-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamin regulation is of particular significance in cystic fibrosis.

I have been read through an article in my mail box. It is all about love.
For teenagers, they must face some problems in their daily life. It is the same with me. There was something happened to me for the two weeks holiday. It was a torturing sem break for me. Coincidentally, i read that article. Its all about the ways to passed through the period of your sadness.
First is to keep away yourself with mobile phone. It is because if it is with you, you will try to contact the one who hurt you much. Don't try to get contact with him or her because it will cause your broken heart become more serious. so, keep away from your mobile phone.
Then, you have to make sure you have a timetable for what you plan to do. If you have a packed timetable, there will be zero of time for you to think the past days. We have to look forward but not leave behind. So, fix all your free time.
For sure it will be a critical time during the first month. Keep yourself with your friends and also family. Get supports from your friends and also your family. This is really helpful in passing through those critical period.
Finally, don't give up yourself. If you give up yourself, the one who left you alone will not back to you too. Why don't we try to live more happily. The Earth is still the Earth although you live without him or her.
So, wake up now. There are still a lots of things are waiting you in your future and i am now awake already. Move forward, don't look behind.

for my last entry i want to give my brief opinion about a book that i've read before which is 'tell me your dreams' by sidney shieldon.

this story is merely about 3 women named Ashley Patterson,Toni Prescott and Alette Peters.
The 3 women do not get along because of their dissimilar natures.Toni and Alette maintain good friendship but Toni dislike Ashley and harshly criticizes her.
Ashley requests a police to escort her at home because she afraid someone is following her but the next morning the policeman is found dead at her apartment.Meanwhile,2 other murders have already taken place with an identical pattern.Evidence points at the same person for each murder. When a gift from 1 of the murdered man to Toni is found in Ashley's thing, she is identified as the killer and arrested. It is revealed that the 3 women are 3 selves in a multiple personality disorder(MPD).
Ashley then commited to an insane asylum and relieves the horrific events that shattered her mind. She was sexually abused by her father during childhood and made her develop a strong hatred toward men.

I like this novel as it gives me thrill while reading it.It gives suspense as well. As i reading it, i feel excited and eager to know what is MPD is all about and what is actually happened to Ashley.

Assalamualaikum and good evening.
Today I had already done to read a simple book. The titles of the books is ’The Good Lie’. Here is my overall summary of the story. Actually this story has a strong literary flavor and a number of well-drawn minor characters who serve as Paul’s allies. The most notable of these is the real-life Canadian painter, Jack Wise, who provides the spiritual guidance Paul requires. Paul also gathers support from his father-in-law, his aging next-door neighbors and their dog who becomes the first victim of Reg Jensen’s brutality. Beneath these currents runs a love story defined by Paul and Valerie’s enduring romance, a bond tested by the events that gradually consume them. Their narrative slips backward in time to explore their relationship through its shifts and turns until we reach the novel’s last paragraphs and the beginning of their affair. The Good Lie also explores the fluidity of time and one individual’s struggle to contact the essence of universal intelligence in order to find purpose in a world seemingly governed by chaos and destruction. Prayer, meditation and blind belief all are pressed to deliver some form of redemption. The reader is left to ponder the possibilities that Paul discovers through the course of the novel.
That’s all from me,
Thank you

I have read an article about robot and i want to share some important information.
If we all realised, nowadays some people are very eager to create or build a robot to help them in their job especially in industry rather than get the human workers.

Why are these people choosing robot than human to help them in doing a job? This is because they have made the comparison berween human and robot.

Mechanically, robot are better in doing job especially in industry because robots can be powerful and tireless.they can continue working in a long time without stop.
In th other hand, the company manager can maximise the used of time in work hour.this is because the robot do not need time to eat food and drink thatt human need.
In addition, robot also capable of repeating actions accurately and can survive in hostile environments which are uncomfortable or hazardous for humans.
tThe other qualities that a robot can exceed human is in speed.the robot can move or work faster than a human.
Robot also hve higher accuracy than human.actually all of these accuracy were derived from the precision of manufacture of their components, the linear and shaft encoder resolutiojn of their joints/link position monitoring elements, and because of the control system used.
for now, i think that all from me.bye..

Assalammualaikum Mdm Jumani, today I want to share with you what I've read about 'Three Ways of Finding True Happiness'.

The Three Keys to Happiness
Something to Do. How many times have we felt unhappy with life because we simply had too much idle time? I know it has happened in my own life. When I get bored, I get down, and I only snap out of it when I start to get busy again. The thing is, we have to recognize this pattern and stay busy to keep our mood elevated. Find a hobby. Volunteer your free time. Learn to cook. Coach youth sports. There are endless possibilities for “something to do” if we take the time to look.
Something to Love. Friends and family are such an important element to our ultimate happiness. During a traveling phase at my last job I spent a number of lonely nights hundreds of miles away in a hotel room on business. I was in foreign surroundings, working in a job I didn’t particularly like, in an industry I didn’t believe in (credit/financial services). The one source of inspiration to get through those nights was my family. Even though my career situation has since improved, I still think of my wife and kids when I get down and can’t help but smile. If you are single, you may have a best friend that always knows just how to pick you up, or make you laugh when you want to cry. Pets can even be an incredible source of companionship, there to greet you at the end of a long day. I’ve had pets most of my life and marvel at their willingness to love us unconditionally.
Something to Hope For. Everyone should have something to hope for. Something that drives them towards a goal. It’s been said that if you aim for nothing, you’ll hit it every time. Have something to aim for; a dream that you hold close and never let completely out of sight. When people lose hope they get complacent, and complacency often leads to a poor attitude. This self-perpetuating cycle of negativity can lead to serious depression, and ultimately harm cherished relationships. I know, I’ve been in a rut myself and I lost sight of the dreams I once held close. But all hope is never lost, you just may have to work a little harder temporarily to catch up and see those dreams around the next corner again.
“The only difference in a rut and a grave is six feet.” If you find yourself in a rut, stop digging. Start moving in the direction of your dreams and things will begin to improve. If your goal is debt freedom, stop charging to your credit cards and start paying all you can pay on outstanding debts. Do not be overwhelmed by the distance to the finish line. If your goal is to lose weight, do not focus on how far you are from your goal weight. Instead, take it one day, one meal, one bite, one workout at a time and begin to move in the direction of your dreams.

The bottom line is we are responsible for our own happiness. Government programs, promises from elected officials, and pats on the back from bosses may offer temporary mood boosts, but ultimately happiness is a self-induced state of mind. Be responsible for your own happiness.

A very good MORNING to Mdm Jumani, just now I share about Happiness, now I would like to share what I read about Sadness......

When Sadness Is a Good Thing.......

In the 1960s, the pharmaceutical company Sandoz marketed its new tranquilizer Serentil with ads in medical journals suggesting the drug be prescribed to "the newcomer in town who can't make friends ... The woman who can't get along with her new daughter-in-law. The executive who can't accept retirement." But the FDA stopped the ads. Drugs are supposed to treat illnesses, the agency said, not the vicissitudes of living.

Isn't that a quaint idea? The FDA was worried back then about an overmedicated society; in 1956, 5% of Americans were on tranquilizers. But today 7% of Americans are on antidepressants (many more have tried them), and ads have touted the drugs for ordinary problems like fatigue, loneliness and sadness. Still, drug companies aren't the (sole) villain in this story. As Allan Horwitz and Jerome Wakefield point out in their incisive new book The Loss of Sadness: How Psychiatry Transformed Normal Sorrow into Depressive Disorder (Oxford; 287 pages), we now have a "legal drug culture" built around the widely accepted idea that feeling blue is an illness. Horwitz, dean of social and behavioral sciences at Rutgers, and Wakefield, an expert on mental-illness diagnosis at New York University, agree that depression can have biological roots. But they persuasively argue that many instances of normal sadness--the kind that descends after you lose a job or get dumped--are now misdiagnosed as depressive disorder. They also point out that the human capacity to feel sad is an evolutionarily selected trait that we might not want to drug away. They raise a great question: What if sadness is good for you?

Isn't it safer to have a broad definition so that no truly ill person slips through? Yes and no. Untreated mental illness can be serious, but misdiagnosis can also be harmful: a healthy individual might take unneeded drugs that have side effects, for instance. Also, a psychiatric diagnosis can be used against you in a divorce proceeding or disqualify you from, say, a cancer-drug trial.

Still, is there anything wrong with medicating normal sadness if you don't mind side effects? Horwitz and Wakefield take no position on this. They point out that women giving birth take painkillers even though pain is a normal part of the process. But the authors also note that "loss responses are part of our biological heritage." Nonhuman primates separated from sexual partners or peers have physiological responses that correlate with sadness, including higher levels of certain hormones. Human infants express despair to evoke sympathy from others. These sadness responses suggest sorrow is genetic and that it is useful for attracting social support, protecting us from aggressors and teaching us that whatever prompted the sadness--say, getting fired because you were always late to work--is behavior to be avoided. This is a brutal economic approach to the mind, but it makes sense: we are sometimes meant to suffer emotional pain so that we will make better choices.

We might want to return to a simple definition of mental illness offered by Aristotle: "If fear or sadness lasts for a long time, it is melancholia." In that case, see a doctor. But if your boyfriend just left you and you can barely get out of bed, don't assume you're ill. Your brain is probably doing exactly what it was designed to do.

For this month, I have been read an article about ‘Dowry In India’. Dowry or Dahej is the payment in cash or/and kind by the bride's family to the bridegroom' s family along with the giving away of the bride ( called Kanyadaan) in Indian marriage . Kanyadanam is an important part of Hindu marital rites. Kanya means daughter, and dana means gift. Dowry originated in upper caste families as the wedding gift to the bride from her family. The dowry was later given to help with marriage expenses and became a form of insurance in the case that her in-laws mistreated her. Although the dowry was legally prohibited in 1961, it continues to be highly institutionalized. The groom often demands a dowry consisting of a large sum of money, farm animals, furniture, and electronics. From this article, I can learn more about cultural of Indians and it can teach me on how to appreciate others cultural.

Hi madam....

Today, i like to share with you about the article that i had read. ermmm, the article that i read is about iron.

Iron is a metallic chemical element with the symbol Fe (Ferum) and atomic number 26. Iron is agroup 8 and period 4 elements and is therefore classified as a transition metal. Iron and iron alloys (steels) are by far the most common metals and the most common ferromagnetic materials in everyday use. Fresh iron surfaces are lustrous and silvery-grey in color, but oxidize in air to form a red or brown coating of ferric oxide or rust. Pure single crystals of iron are soft, and the addition of minute amounts of impurities, such as carbon, significantly strengthens them. Alloying iron with appropriate small amounts of other metals and carbon produces steel, which can be 1,000 times harder than pure iron.

Iron-56 is the heaviest stable
isotope produced by the alpha process in stellar nucleosynthesis; heavier elements than iron and nickel require a supernova for their formation. Iron is the most abundant element in the core of red giants, and is the most abundant metal in iron meteorites and in the dense metal cores of planets such as Earth.

hi madam ju...
ermmm... actually i do not know what i want share with you right now.
Ermmm....okay, now i have idea what i share with you.. if not mistaken, last week i had read 1 article about ‘blog’. ‘Blog’ is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.
Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art, photographs, videos, music, and audio.
After i read this article n see your blog, i feel that i should have like you. Because i think, if i have blog, i can share with a lot of people about my story. And also i feel i will get a lot friends because when i write a lot story about myself or anything type of story, there wiil a lot of reader will comments my post. And from here i feel that we, myself n my reader will become more close and insyaAllh and will always keep in touch.

Assalammualaikum Mdm, today I want to share about an article I've read about Sorrow........ Here are some of the info on what I've read......

Secret Sorrow: The Grief a Woman Is Expected to Bury

While Noreen Nettles underwent treatment for secondary infertility, she needed someone to mother. Her eleven-year-old daughter was at the stage where she considered extra attention from Mom to be uncool. That’s how Noreen’s two newly adopted puppies, Penny and Valentina, became her furry children.

After the awful day when Noreen had to have Penny euthanized, it was as if the color had left her world. But when she told others about her loss, hardly anyone acknowledged its significance.

When my husband, Allen Anderson, and I researched and wrote Rainbows & Bridges: An Animal Companion Memorial Kit (New World Library 2005), we found certain comments and practices drove grief deep into a woman’s heart. Unexpressed grief and buried emotions resulted in prolonged sadness that often led to a sense of helplessness and depression.

A week after Kathleen McBride’s dog Tyler died, her boss at that time, a young married woman in her thirties, found Kathleen, teary-eyed, sitting at her desk. The boss said, “Why are you still crying? I thought you would be over that dog by now.”

Women sometimes have a compounded problem with buried grief as they wonder how much of their emotions to express in front of their children. Often the loss of a pet is a child’s first bewildering experience with death. Parents tend to focus on their children’s needs for understanding, sometimes neglecting or suppressing their own emotions.

Cheri Barton Ross, author of Pet Loss and Children: Establishing a Healthy Foundation (Routledge 2005) says, “Shared emotions within a family can be very healthy for both the parent and child. Children learn that there are feelings that need to be expressed when a pet we love dies (or runs away or is adopted to another home). However, parents should not use their children as sources of support. If the parent is feeling overwhelmed by the feelings of loss, she should seek counseling support to work through the loss.”

In our Rainbows & Bridges book and kit we address the fact that sometimes there is a disconnect between what a woman believes about animals and the afterlife or animals as eternal souls and what her church teaches as official dogma. The inability to find comfort in a place or with people who usually provide it can result in a crisis of faith. One woman wrote that when she expressed the belief that she’d be reunited with her pet in heaven, another woman in her congregation called this hope a “heathen belief.” Another said that her parish priest was shocked when she expressed the wish to bury her dog’s ashes in the coffin with her.

Once a woman becomes aware of factors that are causing her to bury a surprisingly intense grief, she can protect herself from insensitive remarks by avoiding the offending person or educating him or her. She can allow her children to see that she also mourns and misses the family pet. She can overlook or reconcile herself to feelings of disconnectedness with her church or congregation. And most of all, she can grieve naturally and openly over the loss of a family member who provided a wellspring of unconditional love in this world.

Hello Mdm, today I want to share about what I've read on What Confidence Is?

Traditionally, confidence is defined as "trust in" or "reliance upon". When you have self-confidence, you trust in, or rely upon, yourself. Possessing confidence in yourself means believing that you have the ability to become, achieve or acquire whatever you want.

Have you ever met a person whom you'd describe as "magnetic"? A magnetic person is someone who literally radiates confidence. They exude certainty, assurance and charisma. We are drawn to confident people because their belief in themselves is more attractive than perfect features or careful grooming. They instil in us a much- desired sense of security; a feeling that, no matter what happens, you can count on them to make decisions and take action in a manner that produces an acceptable outcome.

Whether a confident individual actually does (or doesn't) produce an "acceptable outcome" depends largely on the individual, the situation, and our rather subjective definition of what's "acceptable". The difference that confidence makes in this equation is that our perspective and memory of an experience is dramatically improved when we feel that "we're in good hands".

Confidence is magnetic, powerful and profound. It's the calm voice amidst chaos. It's the firm hand on your shoulder when you're lost in a crowd. It's what legends and leaders are made of.

Assalammualaikum Mdm. now I want to share what I've read about What Confidence Isn't...

One of the biggest reasons why self-confidence is such a rare quality is because most people believe one or more of the following three common misconceptions to be true.

Misconception 1: Confidence is a by-product of exceptional knowledge, beauty, experience, or talent.

Confidence is NOT merely a by-product of exceptional knowledge, beauty, experience or talent. Confidence is about faith, trust, belief. How many times have you seen, known, or heard about the beautiful, talented, successful individual who is painfully or even self-destructively insecure? Despite their natural gifts, these individuals lack basic trust or belief in themselves.

I've known people who were stunning and insecure; brilliant and awkward; talented and paralyzed by stage-fright. And I've know people with crooked teeth, average intelligence and no sense of style to speak of who radiated charisma.

Brains, beauty and talent certainly can't hurt you – but self- confidence is not directly related to any of them.

Misconception 2: Confidence is not something you can learn or develop; you either have it or you don't.

If there is one thing humans are, it's infinitely adaptable. When I was a physical therapist, I worked with people who lost limbs or the ability to move or feel portions of their bodies and yet, with help and perseverance, they were able to learn new ways of moving and functioning. Despite the fact that they had done things one way (i.e. writing with their right hand) for decades, they were able to learn a new way of doing the same things (writing with their left- hand or in some cases, using their mouth) in a matter of weeks or months.

Self-confidence can be learned and developed. It's as simple as that.

Hello Mdm, today I want to share about what I've read on The First Step to Building Self-Confidence.

So the good news is that you can develop self-confidence; and you don't have to lose 20 pounds or get a makeover or become fluent in 3 languages to get started. But you do have to define what confidence means to you. What would your life be like if you had abundant self- confidence? How would you look, act, feel? How would others respond to you?

The first step in any process of change is identifying what the ideal state you're working toward is. After all, how can you get what you want if you don't quite know what that is?

Take a few minutes to really ponder these questions. Answer them in writing. Define your personal definition of confidence and use it as a starting point for developing a deep and lasting belief in yourself.
