Just now I done a presentation for Islamic Institution.My group give a presentation about L'oreal company (boycott brand by Islam)
We conducted the presentation just for knowledge.

The L'oreal was started established on 1905 by a chemist.They started to develop their products by joined venture with The Body Shop, hitz.fm and Nestle companies.

L'oreal highly demand by people around the world since their products effectiveness had been approval by the doing some research by their chemist.

L'oreal had produced variety of cosmetics, skin care and hair products. They constantly create something new to attract consumers to buy their products.

For my opinion, L'oreal is the products that sell at reasonanble prices and I am affordable to buy the skin care products.
I used L'oreal since I am in Form 5 and my there are some changes on my skin. (rough turn to smooth)*wink*

inspiring story that i've read...
BUTTERFLY
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.
So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

my opinion:
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly!

Life Is Love

The fair varieties of earth,
The heavens serene and blue above,
The rippling smile of mighty seas—
What is the charm of all, but love?

By love they minister to thought,
Love makes them breathe the poet’s song;
When their Creator best is prais’d,
‘Tis love inspires the adoring throng.

Knowledge, and power, and will supreme,
Are but celestial tyranny,
Till they are consecrate by love,
The essence of divinity.

For love is strength, and faith, and hope;
It crowns with bliss our mortal state;
And, glancing far beyond the grave,
Foresees a life of endless date.

That life is love; and all of life
Time or eternity can prove;
Both men and angels, worms and gods
Exist in universal love.

Friend

A friend is a person
to laugh and cry with,
An inspiration,
Someone who lends a helping hand,
though friends may not be forever,
And they may not end up together,
the memories of a true friendship will
last forever.
A friend is not a shadow nor a servant
But someone who hold
a piece of a person in his heart.
Someone who shares a smile,
Someone who brightens up your day
What makes a person a friend?
Is by saying your Love will stay.

MEAN: a friend is a person that always stand beside her friend and support her in everything eventhough other people laughing at her.A friend also must help her friend who have problems and always smile. That is true friendship.

Title : TELL MY DAD TO HEAR THE
WORDS!
From : motivateus.com

My comment:

This story is so meaningful to me. Because the story tell that, Tim was so lonely because his parents are too busy with their work. So, when he hear his favourite song entitled "Happy" makes him feel not lonely. Think, how another person like Tim can survive his/her life without their busy parents, is he/she do good activities or bad activities to solve their lonely. Think about it too...

TIME MANAGEMENT: Maintaining Punctuality

As a student,we should have good time management to make sure that we will attend all the classes.
Improving how you manage your time is the only way to improve your punctuality. If you keep doing things at the last minute then there will always be something to hold you up. One useful tip to help you avoid being late is to schedule your meeting throughout the day with enough time, maybe fifteen to twenty minutes, in between each appointment.

Another punctuality technique is to record your appointment in you calendar but make the time ten minutes ahead of the scheduled time. You can also set an alarm in your phone or PC calendar to remind you to finish what you are currently doing so you can be on time for your appointment.

So, by this I hope that all the students will manage their time properly.

just read an interesting article. It is quite hot issue. Most of teenage nowadays do smoking. How can they figure out, ways of quitting smoking? Actually, trying to figure out exactly how to reduce the stress that accompanies trying to quit smoking is never easy. No one can doubt it. If you really want to quit smoking, you have to relax and learn how to control your stress. If you just ignore your stresses you are going to find it much harder to quit smoking. Besides, you may look for a hobby. This is because; hobby will help you to rid your life stress. You also need to look for time to relax by yourself. The fact is, everyone needs time alone. So do you and yourself. If you cannot eliminate the stress like most people, your next best option is to just learn how to properly deal with the stress, and these suggestions can help you to cope without reaching for cigarettes.

This short story on friendship is very inspiring and tells you about true friendship. It teaches a valuable lesson about friendship and how friends should be. Every short fable or tale on friendship has some valuable lesson it it. So check out this short story about friends.

Long time ago in ancient Greece, there was a man named Socrates who was highly knowledgeable and an esteemed philosopher. He was approached by a fellow one day. That person told Socrates that he has some information to tell him about his friend. Before he could even start talking about his friend, Socrates told him to take a test known as the Triple Filter Test.

The first test was the filter of truth. Socrates asked him if the information he had was the truth. The person said that he had just heard it on the way and was not sure if it was the absolute truth. The second filter was that of Goodness. He asked if the information was regarding anything good about his friend. The man said it was actually the opposite. The third filter was that of Usefulness. Socrates asked if the information was useful to him in any way. The man replied in the negative.

Socrates then replied that when the information regarding a friend is not true, good or useful, then why it should be conveyed at all. The moral of the story is that you may always participate in loose gossip, but when it comes to your friends it is just not worth it. You know your friends better than others. So you must avoid talking behind the back of your dearest friends. It only leads to strained relations and shows that you are not reliable or trustworthy as a friend.

i love this story, there are a lot of memories and experience in our frienship.

Let Your "Eyes" Do the Talking

From: moyivateus.com

Comment:

So, wherever I go in the world I can say a lot without even opening your mouth. The problem is that sometimes what I'm saying with my eyes depends on where in the world I'am. One thing is for sure though, wherever in the world you end up, a friendly look and a smile can open doors. So I challenge other peoples to go out there and let our eyes do the talking!

TITTLE: Just Be Happy

FROM: motivateus.com

COMMENT:

I'm human, like everyone else, and from time to time I need a little pick-mw-up in my decision to be happy. Then, when I reach that stage, I find someone else who has decided to be happy who is my friends. So, I'm join forces them and march forward in my decision to be happy person.

I can say that, simply speaking, a happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.

" Choose today to just be happy - as much as it depends on you!"

the story of 3 friends

Not long ago, three friends came to the New York city. They decided to stay in a hotel during the visit.

It so happened that their room ended up being on the 60th floor.

The policy of the hotel was that everynight after 12:00 a.m. the elevators are shut down for security reasons.The next day, the three friends rented a car and went out to explore the city. They enjoyed movies, concerts, and other things throughout the whole day. At one point, they remembered that they have to get back to the hotel before 12 a.m.

When they arrived, it was beyond 12 a.m. at night. The elevators were shut down. There was no other way to get back to their room but to take the stairs all the way to the 60th floor. All of a sudden, one friend got an idea.

He said “For the first 20 floors, I will tell jokes to keep us going. Then another one of us could say wisdom stories for the next 20 floors. Finally, we will cover the other 20 floors with sad stories.”

So, one of the friends started with the jokes. With laughs and joy,they reached the 20th floor. Now, another friend started saying stories that are full of wisdom. So, they learned a lot while reaching the 40th floor. Now, it was time for the sad stories.

So, the third friend started thus, “My first sad story is that I left the key for the room in the car.”

Three Ways To Stop Depression And Burn-Out

COMMENT:

Sometimes it is merely about paying attention to the long-term benefit of what I'm already creating. More commonly, however I really need to change what I'm doing so that on daly basis I'm producing money that I keep, sources of passive rather than active income, habits rather than Band-Aids, prevention rather than fire-fighting, relationships rather tahn one-off transactions. This way I can sleep knowing I have more to wake up to the next day. Each of these 3 aspects are vital for me. Missing even one of them, I thinks I will give more stress than I needs and if I don't have a ny of them I'm very likely to be reading this because I'm really needing help, starting with these 3 changes. for anyone who's ever gone through a relationship breakup or divorce..

know "how to stop your pain,let go of the past and heal your BROKEN HEART"

If you're like everyone else who's been through a relationship breakup or divorce, you know that the pain of a breakup or divorce (especially one you didn't want) can be excruciating!

The trouble for many people after their breakup or divorce is that this pain can be so unbearable that without realizing it, they unknowingly do some things that are counter-productive to healing their pain. They actually stay stuck in that pain, sometimes forever.

Sometimes, even when you think that you have dealt with the pain of the breakup or divorce and put your past relationship behind you, there's still more healing work to be done. You just didn't realize it.

Sometimes, you'll hear a song on the radio or one might pop into your head that reminds you of a certain time and person that you were with.

Other times, someone will say or do something that reminds you of a past relationship and you realize that even though days, weeks, months or even years may have passed, there's still more healing to be done.

Nearly every one we've ever talked to after a break up or divorce has said that the most important factor in the healing process is time.

While we agree that time passing is important in the healing process, it's not the only factor that is important (as some people believe it is).

If time passing is the only thing that needs to happen in order for us to heal our pain and broken heart, then all we would need to do is let a certain amount of time pass and poof- just like magic- our pain would be gone and our hearts healed.

Unfortunately, this isn't the way the healing process works. It isn't just the time that's important. It's what we do with that time that determines whether we heal our hearts or not..believe it? pliz believe me,i am the one of the broken hearted victim.. :)

A little boy Shay - Part I

At a fund-raising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:

'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.'

Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do. Where is the natural order of things in my son?' The audience was stilled by the query.The father continued.

'I believe that when a child like Shay,who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.'

Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?'

I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps..

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

::All people have same opportunity in their life. The difference is the way we choose, our thinking, and our spirit::

Midwinter Turns to Spring

When I started reading Midwinter Turns to Spring, I immediately fell in love with it and became an instant fan of Maria Veloso. The music that comes with the novel is so soothing, relaxing and enchanting -- I really, really love it. I'm in surreal awe of Maria's words and I savor her words as one would savor rich chocolate truffles. I've read and enjoyed novels like Bridges of Madison County, but this work reaches emotional heights seldom reached by other novels. It certainly deserves to be on Oprah's Book Club.

how to get rich

Instructions
Difficulty: Challenging
Things You’ll Need:

* Financial Calculator
* Personal Financial Software
* Brokerage Accounts
* Bank Account
* Financial Advisers

Step1
Decide what 'rich' means to you. Does it mean money for everything you need? Money for everything you want? Enough to retire where you live now? Enough to retire and live in Costa Rica?

Step2
Start saving. Most experts agree that investing 10 to 15 percent of your gross monthly income creates a very comfortable nest egg for later years.

Step3
Take advantage of compound interest, earning interest on your interest by letting investment returns accumulate and build on themselves.

Step4
Resist temptation, whether that means a brand-new car right out of college or weekly dinners at nice restaurants. Invest the money you save by buying a used car or going out only twice a month, and you will have thousands of dollars more at retirement.

Step5
Take care of yourself. This will reduce medical costs later on in life, as well as extend the years you can work and save.

Step6
Go to college. By one study, college graduates earn roughly $20,000 more per year than people with just a high school diploma, and a post-graduate degree nets $20,000 more than a bachelor's.

Step7
Get married. Married people are generally healthier than singles. Plus, they can economize on expenses, and they have more to invest. And because married people live longer, they can work and save longer.

Step8
Enjoy the ride. Don't be so concerned with amassing a fortune later on that you neglect to enjoy life now. Strive for balance.

Life Is So Precious…Cherish EVERY Moment

Some inspiring thoughts from Lee Pryke:

Life has been busy for me and I have not written in a couple of weeks. What it has shown me is the importance of cherishing the moment and loving the day we have been given to the fullest. After spending the day with my best friend at the funeral home (a place I never go) I realized how important it is to appreciate and cherish the day that we have TODAY.

Two friends transitioned recently and no previous warning. One was in critical condition and thankfully pulled through. It just came in the middle of the night through heart attacks and left their loved ones wondering what happened. We all know that we live a specific time on this earth and hope that it is a long time. In doing so, we get lazy. Yes, how many times have you said “I can do that tomorrow”..but what if tomorrow doesn’t come?

We need to live, laugh and love TODAY as if there is NO tomorrow and in doing so we remind ourselves of those precious moment we all take for granted. When your partner leaves for work do you stop and give them a kiss? Do you hug your kids and tell them how much you love them? When you really want to get your hair done do you or do you put it off for another day because something else seems more important. What about that beautiful china in the cabinet? When was the last time for no reason at all, did you decide to serve a meal on it JUST BECAUSE.

So many authors write about Living in the Now like Eckart Tolle, and Ram Dass, but do we listen or do we wait until it is too late to really forget about the WHAT IF’S and just DO IT…..TODAY!
Tim McGraw wrote a song I love called Live Like You Were Dying. Listen to it if you can as it really shows you how important it is to cherish every moment of TODAY and do all the things you want to do that are for the betterment of your higher self and those around you. When you lay your head on the pillow tonight you will smile and know that you did the best that you could do TODAY and be blessed in the morning when once again you are given yet another Fantastic 24 hours to do it all over again.

Cheating While Dating

We're stressing marriage here, but cheating also happens within unmarried relationships. Is it the same? "If there was no implicit promise of exclusivity, there's no violation," says Kirshenbaum. "But if dating is exclusive and there's a sense of moving toward a commitment, then it can be as big a betrayal as cheating during marriage."

The problem, of course, is that many unmarried couples don't ever sit down and declare a relationship exclusive, or not. And that omission can be the cause of serious pain. "Infidelity can have just as devastating an effect when one person thinks they are committed and one doesn't," says Barbach.

An affair in a dating relationship is also more likely to be the beginning of the end. "Some people cheat as a way of leaving a relationship. They set up the next relationship before they leave the last," says Barbach. "That's different from the person who cheats while maintaining the dating relationship -- this person is much more likely to cheat during marriage."

Step1
Read about the lives of great leaders. Dr. Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi are a good start. Also check out "How to Change the World" by David Bornstein. It tells stories about social entrepreneurs who were determined to make the world a better place and succeeded.

Step2
Define your dreams. Write about the things that bother you, inspire you and that you want to change. It could be an injustice that you or someone you know has suffered. Or it could be an innovative idea that's been nagging at you for years.

Step3
Set goals. You have to make your ambitions concrete to change the world for the better. Use positive statements in the present tense and be specific. "At-risk kids on the south side have a place to go after school" motivates you to make their situation better.

Step4
Keep your eyes and ears open for people who can help you reach your goals. Whether it's a mentor for your new business or partners in your biodiesel venture, getting other people involved makes your goal more attainable. They encourage you when you get frustrated and show you things you didn't think were possible.

Step5
Volunteer and donate to charities as much as you can. This keeps you motivated. It puts you in touch with people who share your ideals and can help you with whatever you're trying to accomplish.
