Field Trip to MTE 2011 E11
Congratulations for having the opportunity to go to MTE! Every group, please comment on what you found interesting and novel at MTE. How has the experience helped you in coming up with your own innovation? And do you have a clearer idea of what a product exhibition is and how you are expected to present at the end of the semester?

It was a great experience that i ever pass through..quite number of interesting things i found at MTE..but unfortuneately..mostly from UTM..their creativity and product are so awesome..But,i not sure whether it could help me in my own innovation and the product that i going present in the end of semester..

I got many experiences and sweet memory at MTE. I saw many innovation things that very impressive and quite develop too. The most impressive innovation is coconut husk machine. This machine use generator or engine to turn on. This machine have many benefit which is its can produce three different substance from one source. This one source is coconut husk that farmer always throw away. with this machine, there is no waste on coconut husk. That's all.

I get many experiences and information.Besides that, i also see many creative innovation from other university such as the murata boy from the murata company,it is very interesting because it can balance their body and measure the length and angle of the way when they are cycling,so i very enjoy in this trip.

I feel very exciting when go to the trip.There are many booth that create many creative and innovatif.the booth that i like most is coconut machine.The machine is very useful.besides that i also like is the safety jacket that are install wireless.so the jacket will have lamp to show the signal of the motor.The presntor is very friendly while give us explanation.

It was a fantastic journey to the MTE, my favourite invention is the uni-cycle robot, this is because the robot able to balance by it self by using gyroscope with a gyroscope sensors.

My favourite innovation was Murata Boy & Girl.They are cousins.They are controlled via PC or a special stick.They look cute and their balance is amazing.I love these innovation because I am interesting in robotic but in my humble opion the innovation still has a lot to improve.

gone for MTE EXHIBITION is one of the best memory ever happen in my life, i learnt a new thing which can apply to our daily life.It si about how heat energy transfer from a motocycle exhaust convert into electric energy that can charge handphone.It is using the principle of cooling and heat condition where electron movee from cool to a higher heat condition that convert the enery.It is using the 127elemnts for this process to success.The main compenent used in this experiments is see beck.It is functioning as converter the heat enery to electrical energy.I thought that is the most best experience i had grab from this programme and I hope I have chance to go for the next programme.

The trip to MTE was a memorable experience and AWESOME!! :) I got to see many creative inventions and innovation there. My most favorite was the MURATA BOY and GIRL. Because this shows that the technology around us are expanding and we as Malaysians should stand up and take it as a challenge. As an electronic student, I also hope that one day I would achieve the same great success! :)

Thank to our lecturer give us a chance to go there grab some experience.Through out this visit, I saw an invention that grab my interest.That is convert heat energy to electrical energy. It is install at the exhaust of the motorcycle. While we riding the motorcycle,the exhaust will produce heat energy,the energy will detect by a plat call seebeck.After that convert the energy to electrical energy so that we can charge our cellphone while ride motorcycle.

The most inspired invention that i had met during MTE was the 'JETCORN'.It was very useful especially to the farmer..It helps the planting become easier..Before this,the seeding process will take along time as the farmer have to seed manually~~but by using this invention,the farmer can reduced the time of seeding~~by the same time,the productivity also can be increases..I love that invention as my grandfather is a farmer..I wonder if i can make such invention in order to help my beloved grandfather~~^^

I feel very exciting.I get a lot of information.In my opinion,the best and interesting invention is the lamp shirt for motorcycle driver.It has a sensor that can detect the signal from motorcycle.when we push the left signal on motorcycle,the lamp on shirt also show the signal to the person behind him.so,this invention can reduce the number of accident for motorcyclist.
Other than that,coconut machine also looks great.we just need to put the old coconut on the uppur hole and after a few minutes,we can get 3 different product which are cocopeat,coconut coir fiber,and cocopleat husk.

the eexperience was incomparable with other type of field trip. The chance of understanding and asking queations to the presentor was very helpful in order for me to be innovative in my future project. The project that i loved the most during my time viditing the booth was from UTEM. The UTEM created a safety jacket that have LED lights wired via bluetooth device to the signal and brake light of a motor. This is very innovative and creative because it has never been done by any other university.

in my opinion, the most inovation that make me interested is the dc (direct current) air conditioner from unimap.
but why???
this inovation is simple but make me think alot of other inovation with it concept.
the concept is simple, just replace ac (alternating current) source with dc source to operates the air condisioner.
i will discuss with my group for including this concept for ours technical writing final project.

I think there are many creative innovation in MTE 2011.there are simple and high tech innovation.but all of it are creative.for my opinion there Murata boy is a creative innovation and a high tech.The Murata boy can move about 60 sec in one hour without falling ,this is because it was eqquiped with ultrasonic shock sensor that can detect bumps and eveness on road.it also had attena to relays audio waves from pc and mobile phones.To avoid collision the ultrasonic sensor is eqquiped to the Murata boy...That all...

It was a cool trip n what i found interesting at MTE is the UV box. It used cartridge that contain invisible UV ink to print out d papar which could not been seen by our naked eye.Hence, it can be differentiate between real and fake item such as our Mykad. However, i still dun have a clearer idea for d last sem product exhibition but i will continue to explore.

Creative n practical inventions seem although no as much.Science theories are practised on those interesting invention.Nevertheless, foreign countries such as Croatia, Korea, Saudi Arabia and others' creation also found in MTE. By the way, the inventions include many fields such as medical, electronic, plantation, energy source and the list goes on. However the most attracting visitors' attention is the muRata's inventions. The inventions make up of 2 auto-stabling robot which apply physics theory.Anyway, this visiting to MTE is meaningful and broaden our sight of wat science can do.
it was a awesome go to the MTE.i got to see many innovation design of the technology there.one of the booth that most attracted the visitors was at the MURATA booth.that booth make the robot show.this showed that
technology in Malaysia is on par with other countries.

I get great experience at MTE 2011. They are so many great invention at thera. But the most interesting invention that i found is mobile coconut husk extractor. Although it was a simple invention but it is very useful for the farmers that involved in the oil industry. This mechine turn the husk coconut to cocopet,coconut coir fiber andcocopeat with paddy husk that can be use in strawberry plants. It give me an idea to do more creatif invention in next project.
I gained many experiences from this exhibition. The most impress for me is the MURATA BOY & GIRL~~ ya, sure they had attract many people go for them~~ It was crowded when showing time~~ They were controlled via pc and a stick controller~ MURATA BOY can balance himself on a small road coz it has a camera on his head~~ and the engineer that control him can adjust for the distance and balance him~~ besides this, there are many creative innovations from other universities and company~~ our UMP oso got great innovation~~ that is a model that can send data trough our server vis GSM~~ we no need to go to lab to collect the data~ we can have the data by sending a message trough our smartphone~~ We as Student of UMP really proud of it~~ this trip realli give me alot of knowledge. thanks

first of all, I want to be thankful to Mdm Jumani for her invitation our section go to MTE. I found many innovation and ceative model there. I got experience how to ask question and get information. Then, the best model I interested more is the safety jacket from UTEM.I think it will help for our future innovation. I have one product exhibition for my final project.

first of all this is my first time to an international expo. I was actually suprise to see many company, universities from around the world to gather and to show their inventions to Malaysians. There are two inventions that i impressed me the most. Both are invented by the Koreans. I wil explain the first one. When your car broke down in the middle of the road, you will have to stop beside at put up a triangular equipment to let other drivers know that there is a stationary car especially during the night. That equipment can only be seen where there is light directed to it. But if there is no light, the triangle will not function. So the inventor, a little boy add in small visible light bulb onto the triangle and the light bulb uses wind energy to generate electricity. It was so simple, and usuable. It was something you and I could have think of. I was shock that this boy cpuld hav thought of something like this. i can say that he is a truly little genius. I was totally amaze by his thinking skills. The other invention was somewhat similar to the bar code we used in supermarkets to show the price of a particular item. I was inpressed of how it will be useful for user at home. User will be able to scan the code using their smartphones, and the smartphone will record and remind you your item's expire date. Bu I think that it has one flaw. Just in case the scanner for the code is damages, it does not have any alternative to record the code. Unlike our bar code, it does have numbers,so if the scanner is damaged, we can stil key in the numbers manually.

the trip to MTE was great:).there were many cool, creative and innovative inventions. one of the invention that i liked was the compact photostudio.it made shooting professional photos easy and fast. a new generation of photo studio that came with everything you need to shoot professional photos. background, lighting and reflection board all in one.
